If you are having "pseudo-microstutter" issues and are using D3DOverrider:

Setting the application detection level of fifa15_demo.exe to none (i.e. disabling D3DOverrider for the game) fixed it for me.

Looks like FIFA 15 doesn't like graphics tools at all.

thanks. I realized it was Teamviewer preventing it from full screen.
Really enjoying it tbh. The PC game again is far superior looking than the x1 version.
I agree that the snow texture looks awful.

All good so far. The highlights at the end of the game are superb.

I had a similar experience, did you download it on xbox one ?
 
Love the blue graphic effect when highlights are on. I have to find out properly SweetFX to get something similar and get a general graphic contrast.

I think it's more a case of tweaking the setup / Nvidia Control Panel to disable something that's making it juddery, it's not running slow/laggy as such just there's some kind of micro stutter to it all.

I fiddled around a bit and got rid of my stuttering. I think what fixed it most was that I just updated my nvidia drivers. Anyway, I forced my v-sync to on in the control panel, and in the game settings I chose no fps limit.
 
By the way I'm running a Nvidia 780 and had no stutters at all with locked 60fps in game. Very smooth.

The only issue was the EA sports logo hanging when starting the game. Cured that by disabling Origin in the background.
 
please someone let me know if the game can run smoothly on high at 720p -

Ah, I have to apologise... it was a problem on my end - the game had selected the integrated graphics card on my laptop... after switching it to the proper one, it runs really good on High settings. :COAT:

Just a bit of stuttering as Placebo explained. But it definitely runs very good on my not-so-great laptop.

As for the game itself, I'm actually enjoying it (playing on Slow of course), seems like there's literally TONNES of stuff that I hadn't seen in FIFA 14. The variety is one of the things I like the most as of now - as opposed to 14 this feels very different indeed. Haven't had a GK howler yet too.

All in all, I'm leaning towards a purchase If I find it for a good price online. :)
 
I can't believe this. I really can't.

I had to wait 21 years for a proper Fifa game. 21 years!

Fifa 08 was good, but this has everything I've been wanting forever! Foot-planting, proper weights, proper dribbling, proper wrong footing the opponent, proper ball physics, in addition to the usual overall very good presentation they always deliver which was never an issue to me. No skating that always puts me off. Human-like ball control, none of this perfect ball control every time.

Thank you EA. You have finally delivered. Well for me you did :)

I'm really happy. I almost want to cry.

Please keep it this way. Do not ruin the retail game for me.

EDIT: Just read the post above mine. I swear I have the exact opposite impression. I see no "ice-hockey" at all. I'm always the first to notice it as it was what put me off from all previous Fifa games.

Also nothing about what I played was arcady. Pace was so perfect.

Hey, maybe my GPU is shit and forcing the pace slower? :LOL:

EDIT2: I'm also new to this PC setting stuff. I just out everything on high. I went to my nvidia panel and there were many things that were off. Do I turn everything on and max?

I'm totally with LAMI. And Im a guy who stopped playing FIFA14 2 months after release. I actually smashed my old controller, and am now regretting my decision. Mouseclicks dont cut it for me.

EDIT: LAMI, there are a few gameplay vids of the FULL GAME on Youtube. It looks much improved from the demo and people have ONLY had positives.

If ain't broken, don't fix it.

Regarding the game, it's unfortunate it's so CPU dependent and only works with quad-core processors (my GPU is at 50% load during gameplay). It seems I'll try to upgrade motherboard+CPU+PSU, as the socket is very old (775), and keep the same GPU. 4 GB of RAM are not the problem, as the game only uses around 1-1.5 GB.

Thank god Moddingway will update FIFA 14 with content for this season, so I can keep having my footy fix. The bad thing, I'll miss the new (and very improved) tactics and custom set-ups, which are available on PS3/360 versions of FIFA 15. :RANT:

Why companies don't code their games better, so they can be more scalable?

This laptop is an 8 core cpu so maybe I'm quite lucky there.

i am surprised that your graphics card can run the game no wonder u claim the pace is spot on maybe the controls are lagging a bit. I suggest u play and ps4 to have a well formed opinion.

the 740m is a lower midrange card for laptops it means the game isnt demanding at all
