FIFA 15 News & Discussion Thread

I think you can see improvement in these vids compared to the gamescon build but I have no idea why you'd want to play this game multiplayer if this is what it's like - nothing cerebral about it whatsoever, just non-stop counterattack and button mashing.

And does anyone else think these new player models look way to skinny? I'm a bit worried they'll make the players feel even lighter than before.

I can agree with a lot of that. I play in career mode and the formations and tactics are interesting me more than anything else.

Presentation is superb.

Player models look about the best I've seen FROM EA in a game like this (22 on a field). PES's look better though. They always have.

That camera angle tends people to play from a goal to another without using the pitch's width...
Also, the game seems very rigid, and a bit too muscular. Still a basic Fifa in terms of mecanism (don't see what Ignite really brings in addition to the core engine) but with a weird hybrid taste in my mouth.
Waiting for demo to make a judgement about the general feeling of the game.

Looking forward to the demo... May even get into doing some modding in this game if I end up buying and liking it - been getting involved with it for another game and quite enjoy doing it.

To be honest, I am almost past caring so much about all the intricate gameplay details in football games like I used to. If the gameplay has some depth and the goals are quite varied, I'll be happy. Hopefully the graphics look nice and the presentation slick, with nice SFX...

Hoping the PC version has all the trimmings like MSAA/AO etc which the consoles probably couldn't handle. Might even be able to downsample it and maintain 60fps. The previous FIFA games for PC were very light on graphics settings.

Eh, even though I enjoyed FIFA 14, nothing aside from the presentation aspect of the FIFA 15 has me that excited thus far. I'll be playing on slow, manual and with adjusted sliders (and not playing the game like a 12-year-old) so I'll wait until I get my hands on the demo. If only I could adjust online play to my liking as well...

Watched a bit of that Arsenal game in the rain. That first goal from Ramsey...the ball seems to take forever to get there when he takes the shot. Should have more zip to it. In terms of next gen, I've only played the demo of FIFA 14 and the shooting didn't feel that weighty to me either. On 360 it feels fine. Someone chime in with an explanation lol

first impression is quite funny, after reading and watching videos of bad GK, theyre my only gripe with the game atm, but on the opposite view, i think theyre way too good, like superhumans, evan Boca Juniors GK is making constantly world class saves on shoots that shouldnt be saved :(

edit: They do make some awful mistakes on easy shoots, but my biggest problem is definatly the super human saves. Seems very unbalanced overal(save shoots that they shouldnt and let in shoots that they should save)... really hope its only a Demo thing.
