hehe lol Ive got tips that have worked out using this thread so good i help someone else.

I like nicking players from either city or arsenal lol
Kolorov, Silva, Hart, Walcott, Chamberlain, Chamakh.

Torres wont rejoin even tho he wants to because of the way he left ha ea did good there lol

A player I forgot about from when I was playing as my pro(gotta go back to that at some point) my pro partnered up with SWP's younger bro at Charlton! Bradley Wright-Phillips. Wicked speed and finish lol

I tried the cloud solution, obviously it works for some people with certain freezes but it didn't change anything for me.

I did find a solution, or at least it let me get past the bad period of roughly 20-29th June (basically before and after the first friendly), what I had to do was make it so there was as little processing/data moving around as possible, I transfer listed none of my players, bid on no players etc. etc. and then simmed from 5th June all the way through to the first week of July and it finally got past it after 6 hours of frustration spread over two days, then started doing transfers as normal, listing about 15 of my team I want to sell/loan etc and all is now progressing fine, played the first league match of the season, advanced to the next match as normal, bidding on lots of players etc and all was good. Not sure if it's related but at the same time as my freeze period (last week of June) there was also an International tournament at the same time (America's cup) so it's possible there is simply too much data being processed for the game/360/code/poor programming to deal with.

Another glitch. Everytime I offer Ramirez 2yr contract extension, he accepts and it displays 1yr extension. and getting international jobs is so easy.. When offered an international role, load back the game and replay to the day when been offered, another country will offer you..keep doing so until you get the desired country.. i got 28different results after loading 30times(yeah wasted a lot of time). And its easier to find 70+ to 90+ potential scouted players.. Love the fact stats improves above odds and decreases depending on playing time..
 
Let my brother make a CM whilst I've been home from University, he's overwritten my York CM... sigh.

Looks like I'm going to back to Blackburn and NEVER keeping just one save ever again.

If you'd played any MM/CM over the last few years that's a lesson you would have learned a long time ago I'm afraid, I keep at least 2 manual saves plus the 3 automatic saves, pretty crucial.
 
100% gutted - I finally came back to FIFA this year because was just so damn good with the much deeper CM. But now my CM has stared freezing (2nd season - July 7 2013). It just can't make it past this date... FAAAARK IM ANNOYED!! This is the exact reason I left FIFA all those years ago. It builds you up and then let's you down so bady :(
 
Have you moved your saves to the cloud?

At that point you would have played only one or two friendlies? So you have an autosave to take you back to last season? Might be worth recovering that, starting the new season, then don't do anything, don't list your players for sale, don't try to buy anyone, sim until past that date, make a new save, then see if it's past the "corrupted" period, that's what I had to do and now it seems ok.
 
Not as far as I'm aware, after reading Simon Humber's twitter I think it was he seems to think it's perfect as it is, not sure what football world he's watching because Gerrard for example shouldn't go from 82 - 68 in two seasons at the age of 34 or such. Shame because there is zero point signing anyone 28+
 
I have decided to start a simultaneous career mode. I am still carrying on with the Liverpool Manager & Liverpool Player Saves but I have started a random one within the Russian League with Zenit St Petersburg!!
I have played 2 friendlies and simmed 1. Plus I have played the first game of the season.
Ascoli 1-2 Zenit(played)
Zenit 3-0 Suwon Bluewings(played)
Zenit 0-1 Bor Dortmund(simmed)

I managed to get 3 liverpool players on loan mainly to help them.
Suso & Yesil on loan and Sterling on loan to buy

1st league match had Sterling score 2 goals in 3 mins in the last ten mins of the match ensuring a winning start.
 
What do you think about CM transfer budgets in FIFA13?
Some of them are ok, some are completely off.
Example:
MCity (source transfermarkt) real life transfers:

So their real life transfer budget is between 38-141 mil€. FIFA has it at 105mil€ that is ok.


Now let's take a look at Everton:

FIFA has Everton budget as 9mil€. They actually have a transfer budget of 0; they have to sell some players in order to have a budget and buy some players.

Hmm...two seasons with no bugs then in the last 8 (game) weeks I've had:
The game freeze as it tried to get me to make a decision on a loan to buy player I'd signed at my PREVIOUS club (but the same season). Managed to get around that by simply ignoring that on my next attempt.
Invisible ball.
Game auto simmed on Transfer Deadline Day.

Also, something else I noticed, adding a player to your shortlist I immediately see "Shown Interest By Liverpool" even though I no longer manage them (I'm at Bordeaux).

Shoddy.
 
I've given up and haven't played FIFA for 2 weeks.

There's no point getting as involved, passionate and invested into CM Mode as we all like to do only for any numerous amount of bugs to creep in and ruin everything at any given moment.

Can use my time in better more productive ways.

**** EA for giving us such a bug-ridden game this year!
 
Got the contract screen freeze now, I traded Butland for another player but the game thinks he's still with me, keep getting news items that he's a contract rebel with us and won't sign a new contract etc etc because he was in contract negotiations before I got rid of him, now if I click on "contracts" the game and 360 lock up completely.
 
frustrating as it is, I still feel it's worth sticking with.

(Although I am going to give PES another try this week).

What a shame they should get so near, yet so far, from an excellent game.
 
I'll just wait to see if upcoming patches fix these problems or at least the majority of them. If they do, I'm back in because I do enjoy the game and the mode itself.

It's the instability of it all and the fact that the game can freeze on you any second that makes it a bad investment of time for me currently.
 
360 for me, buggiest Fifa probably ever, even more so possibly than Fifa10 (or the Chris Davies Fifa as it became known), but despite all the problems it's easily the best CM ever.
 
Agreed Placebo. Like you, I'm not interested in online so the fact they made such effort for the single player mode keeps me with it. And in their defence, if I'm only starting to see issues in my third season, then I guess that would have been a LOT of testing to replicate.

And, staying positive, at least we know that EA will learn from this for next year, unlike Konami.

(or, they'll steer clear of improving offline in the future :P )
