So i've played a couple of games today and I must say that Nelson has turned into a tank!
I swear he has physically bulked up, he looks bigger on the pitch; i swear
I was really disappointed with my defending in the first game against Bury. I was up 2-0 for the majority of the first half, right up until they nicked a goal just before half time. I have never been more comfortable in a match before, I was in complete control. I ended up conceding in the second half too, but I was still dominant; I desperately need to stop giving teams cheap goals, it's killing me.
A similar story at home to Charlton: I think it was Sarmov who opened the scoring for us, then Benedetti scored another only seconds later to make it 2-0. I wasn't quite as dominant in this match but I was still able to control the game.
I bring Lecointe on for Benedetti with 5-10 minutes to go and he scores from a header which dips over the keeper. That's 3-0 and we're now up to the 90 minutes mark.
Next thing I know, the frickin' Charlton equivalent of Arnold Schwarzenegger charges into my box and latches onto a cross to make it 3-1. At this point i'm thinking 'Shame about the clean sheet, but 3-1's still a good result'.
THEN, suddenly they start charging at my players, giving them no time on the ball at all. My box is swarmed by Charlton dudes and their left back smashes in a deflected shot into the top corner, 3-2.
At this point the sweat is pouring down my face and my hands are shaking (metaphorically speaking), but mercifully the ref blows for full time and I reel in the 3 points.
I don't want to be put through this every game
