He's just crying because he can't play FIFA.

Sorry i have no sympathy for bitches who get beaten by the AI on FIFA 12 anjd ccry its shit and worse than FIFA 11. At least master the game before critisising it! Or at least lay with some sliders.

As for his comments on PES 2012. Just like Pere ubu said brilliantly. He's turned the game on, played with barca, layed on 0 seed and most importantly passing bars on 4. He's made no attempt whatsoever to find even the basic settings out. This is Koanmi's fault but people are incredibly lazy and ignorant.

Seriously why do peole like that spout such conditioned crap and get away with it. It's not his oinion it's a 'politically correct' conditioned one!
 
Just got an update for the PC version.

And the EA servers are still shit. It's really a complete lottery whether it wants to send the data to the server or not, so playing the challenges is pointless because even if you complete it, it wont send the data anyway. Garbage.

Erm I use semi everything with manual through ball. I'm enjoying this a lot more, switched to old style tele cam and it feels slower, defending is far easier and the game has a nice feel to it again. Broadcast cam (not the new one, which I don't like) is SO difficult to play with. I've found the choice of camera really affects the difficulty of the game in terms of my own ability at the game. Odd.
 
How much do player stats affect manual passing/shooting? I'm playing on semi right now but it's a bit too easy, if I switch everything to manual will it still be easier to pass with Modric or Xavi than Ivanovic and Vidic?

I seem to do best on dynamic but prefer tele as I can see more of the picth

I think I do better on dynamic because the camrea is closer to the players you can see their feet for dribbling, close control and tackling much easier.
 
I've got a CM going as Tranmere and thought the sliders might be affecting the passes and shots too much as the games are all over the place.

But I had a game as Getafe v Celtic earlier and it was fantastic. Such a different game with the passing much better, but still with errors, and shooting much more accurate.

Really impressed with the amount of difference between the teams compared to previous FIFA's where I wouldn't tend to notice so much.

Dags, mind putting your sliders down? I'm also noticing differences between the teams but always interesting to notice another persons sliders which might be totally different but have a similar nice effect.
 
Had the best game of FIFA ever with my settings just. 3-0 down to Aresenal at half time and came back to get the draw and earn a point ..The keeper spilled a soft half volley in the last minute and gerrard was there to tap in...In typical Arsenal form they went to pieces after I got one back :) ..Love this game propper entertaining
 
With the sliders single player is much better this year. Online is still fun in patches and frustrating as hell when EA's servers and on the fritz.
 
Getting to the point where I'm just really depressed with the football titles this year. One is broken in football terms, the other is broken in game terms. Humbug. Bah.

I think someone or some people had passing error at 70 or so? Well I tried that and it just makes the ball bounce all the time, can never get a decent pass off. I am using lower league teams so I know they shouldn't be perfect, but still bouncing is not the answer.

Try giving manual controls a go mate, once you get past the initial shock and stick with it it's far more rewarding than playing with assists. I would also suggest that playing with manual controls is easier than in previous years, main reason being that you get more time on the ball due to the tactical defending.
Played a few H2H games online last night using manual controls, and I think my opponent was as well, and they were easily the best games i've ever had on any football game (I go waaaaaay back to Match Day on the speccy)
As an introduction to using manual controls, start by adjusting one setting at a time to manual starting with the shooting, leaving short passing til last.

i try full manual but so foten shots and passes just go all over the place and not were you want. Defiantley not good for a pick up and play game. Need 110% full concentration and a lot off time on the ball
 
Hey guys, anyone knows if theres a way to zoom the celebration camera? I noticed that when the AI scores the camera zooms in a lot faster than when we score, kind of like PES celebration camera...

I agree that playing full manual controls is not 'pick up and play' - if never played before there is a big learning curve. But I feel that in this iteration of fifa - with the addition of tactical defending - playing manually is more of an option to more people if they're willing to put the hard yards in and the pay off, in terms of enjoyment, is huge.

Saw something really cool last night. Ball was going wide but out for a corner or maybe it was a shot going wide. The keeper went down for the save but his momentum took him just over the line and I was awarded a corner. From first look it appeared that he dived on it and kept it in play but his body just moved slightly. Really nice touch.

On a lower note - I started a player career playing for Adelaide United as a CAM. Had a good season - we won the league, I scored about 4 or 5 and a handful of assists maybe. Went up to 75 overall rating. Now I got offered to re sign with Adelaide or a couple of struggling teams in the Serie A, a mid range team in France or Valencia in Spain (which is the option I took).

Now, I would not expect to be offered a first division Spanish club rolein my 2nd season. I have started off in the first 11 and after a few games haven't been left out at all. I WAS on professional for the A League season and now moved to World Class but only playing 4 min halves and only controlling my Virtual Pro.

Not sure if it's the AI cancelling each other out since I'm only controlling 1 player or the shortness of halves but I'm finding that the opposition hardly has any shots on goal. Sometimes I concede a goal or two but there's been too many games where they don't even get a cross or shot in. WTF? lol
