.Placebo_obecalP @ruttski Ok I admit it, colour me impressed, excellent demo, except, post match highlights, terrible, missing loads of stuff, known bug?
Agree, it's really impressed me, cannot understand where the negativity is coming from, it looks, sounds, plays awesome
Whats the AI like? Is there passing accuracy still crazy high?

AI is impressing me quite a lot in how they build up their moves, so far I played against Real Madrid, Barcelona, Leverkusen and Juventus they seem to play differently, Juventus especially seemed to play very Italian IMO, lots of short passing and triangles and such
Played as Real v Barca and I conceded a penalty and Messi Panenka'd it down the middle the little fucker!
Really? Hmm, my initial impression was the only difference was the CPU was actually doing skill moves. In fact, they seem to do skill moves maybe a little too often, and sometimes when it makes no sense, like doing a spin move in your own half. I guess I'd rather they do more than less cause at least it adds variety.
Still really upset with how much of a physical fou-fest the game is - I'm always feeling like I need to get the ball to a bigger player and don't feel the advantage of having the ball at messi or iniesta's feet like I should. It's better than before but skilled players are still way undervalued while drogba is the greatest player ever - he's even an amazing tackler, I get the ball back with him all the time. Also, legendary is way too easy, at least defensively.
I posted my views in the impressions thread but just to summarise, manual FIFA is awesome this year. Seriously guys you need to persevere with it. The people complaining about the game that are playing on semi or assisted are really missing out big time. I tried out PES and it's lamentably bad compared to manual FIFA 11.
You really need to utilise skilled dribbling with players like Messi, Iniesta is so good at making space just with regular dribbling because he has such quick feet, the best thing for me is how if a defender gets too tight behind you, you can just "roll" them when you get the ball into feet, it looks so realistic. I think there is still some elements of overpowered physicality but the physical battles are vastly improved, I've had situations where Messi has held off two or three people. The games are much tighter now, you might only beat your man once or twice in the whole game so you have to make sure you capitalise on those situations. Personally I love it, on manual against professional AI the balance is just about perfect, and the game is so organic played like that I really feel FIFA is going to have so much depth this year, it simply blows PES out of the water. Can't believe the people saying close FIFA forums etc. the king is back, I played one game and it made me feel physically ill, what the hell is that camera angle all about.
But yeh, manual is the future guys. I can't believe how good it is, every issue has been ironed out. The only thing I reckon could be improved is making the through balls more powerful as I sometimes have trouble playing it into space.

Agree 100% with Placebo, Machinaex and gameklip. FIFA11 has improved and ironed out all the negatives from FIFA10 in every possible way.
Demo of the year for me...
