second pic looks better to me. and way more natural. but it's a taste of personal prefference.

my main concern right now is that i cannot play fifa 11 demo on my pc. it plays like a slide show.
 
who have problems with slow game etc try to put in low quality but in max settings in other things(resolution etc). I did that and i can play normal fifa without lags and the graphics can still 80% of 100%

ah and i've a single core :D
 
To fix slow game problem:

Pause the game, alt+tabbed, open windows task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and go to fifa.exe process, and for some reason the game has High priority set. Set it to normal and now there are no more freezings when pausing, and no more slowly gameplay.

Try it too and post the results.
 
I Found How to Play with any difficulty.

and add this lines : to the ini file you will find there.
// DIFFICULTY LEVEL
// 0 = AMATEUR
// 1 = SEMI-PRO
// 2 = PRO
// 3 = WORLDCLASS
// 4 = LEGENDARY
DEFAULT_DIFFICULTY_LEVEL = 3

Modify 3 by the difficulty wanted.

Having only played a little of FIFA 10 on console I am quite impressed with this FIFA2011 for PC. The commentary is so good after PES. Is there any way to save custom controls in the game? It always seems to forget camera etc too. And is there any way to have player names above the heads of players, like in PES?
 
Damn, I really like this game. For me it's the first time with next-gen Fifa as I don't have a console. Except for the fact that basically the midfield doesn't exist and that shots are not great (all known issues with Fifa10 console), it looks very good. The only problem is that it's unplayable, damnit. Too many slowdowns, I hope something can be done.
 
I had a chuckle today when after scoring I did lots of right stick 'wiggling' to see what the player does and Andy and Clive told me off for overdoing my celebration!

Really enjying the demo, esp now with the harder difficulties

man I have windows xp
open my windows task manager and after?
 
i think their is some serious issues with this game on ATI card. i tried it on my laptop with a x1600 card and i was down to 10-15fps!!

im going to try it on my htpc with a 7800 AGP card inside and see how well it plays on that. On my 480gtx it runs at 200-300fps!

One can also set the half length to whatever you want, as below. :))

// Amateur 0
// Semi-Pro 1
// Pro 2
// World-Class 3
// Uber 4
DIFFICULTY=3
HALF_LENGTH=10
 
Game runs very smoothly on my ATI HD 4850, infact I have a little more trouble with running PES oddly.
 
the game is perfect BUT VERY SLOW MOTION
WHY ?? my pc is good! PES 11demo play Full graphics And play PERFECT
 
I'm playing on 1680X1050 (the highest in my case)

it's work fine, low fps in replays and videos, PES run smooth BTW. (HD4770)

i like the gameplay, but i'm not really fan how fifa look like,

the players seem little wired, if you look from up, in PES it's easier to recognize players.. in Fifa you see the players, but you don't relly see the face details, you just see the head, and some face that it's hard to recognize.

I dropped it after a match due to not being able to play it at a decent difficulty..
Gotta try the fix and see what it looks like..


By the way, for me (being used to PES6 and FIFA09) full manual is a NIGHTMARE!!
I managed to only defeat Real on penalties with Bayer, after a very bad 0-0: their defence just let me walk past them on a red carpet, but Casillas managed to stop every effort I made.. Plus I hit a post.. It's me that can't aim I guess :P

I have no problems with my Ati Card, runs perfectly with all the highest
settings on 1920x1080 :)

Agree on the player models, hopefully somebody will create a Lodmixer for it.

I did that, and I don't see any change, besides going to proffesional in the settings.

Does anybody see the change to Legendary, and the half time minutes go to 10 IN THE SETTINGS MENU ?

I have to say I have installed the game on other drive, not the default C:/ProgramFiles...

But I have rna.ini file in the Game subfolder, and then have this:

Still doesn't work. I see time 3 minutes in the settings submenu in the "myFifa" menu, and have proffesional difficulty.
 
jonney, what cpu do you have? same question to others who have fluent gameplay. what cpu do you have guys?

it seems game is "eating" cpu.
