What version is this mate?

Also, I currently have a silver UK account. It looks like I need to upgrade for the Demo. Does anyone know any other work around on this?

yeah download the demo from bittorent and burn on dvd + on slow, pop in, go to demos and it should be there... im playing

Individuality is pretty incredible. Shooting with Lampard is spot on, I won't shoot with anybody else now. I didn't feel it at the Emirates but I certainly feel it now and it's fantastic.

My only worry is the goalkeepers. Check this out, goalkeeper standing on the line waiting for the cross and it still goes in. The ball actually goes through his hands like he's a ghost...

Finally, definitely not floating long balls! They HAMMER them cross field and some bend beautifully to the targets, very impressed with that.

oh - and whats 'skill dribble'? Is that different to holding down the LT and moving the right stick? All I can do is roll the ball side to side, or a flick in the diagonal to drop the shoulder.

I feel pretty much the same. There's no doubt that this is an improvement, but I'm still seeing some of the same things that bugged me about Fifa09.

It's still too easy to dispossess the opposition simply by running into them and vice versa.

Beating a man still seems too difficult, even with the likes of Messi. The beauty of the 'rival' game is that great dribblers can skin the opposition simply by twisting and turning, without the need for close control buttons or tricks.

The ball is still a bit too floaty for my liking, although it is an improvement on last year.

These aside, Fifa10 looks impressive and will be a first day purchase from me.

Hi guys, just thought i would put my thoughts into the mix. So far i have played two matches on the pc demo,and i must admit i really enjoyed the gameplay.I like the way you are almost encouraged not to sprint because slowing the tempo down and taking your time really does feel good and quite natural.Because it was the pc demo i didnt expect much in the way of graphics and looked beyond this and it has been fun, although bits of random slowdown now and again plagued the flow but generally good.
Now bearing in mind i havent played a fifa game seriously since 2005 my first two games have ended in defeat (chelsea 0 bayern 2/barcelona 1 bayern 2)But i do get that lets have another go feeling.BTW i wish i could have uploaded my only goal so far,what a cracker! i had messi on the edge of the box and i went to shoot but because i still had my pes head on i pressed x so he then lofted the ball to henry waiting on the left side of the area (by which time i had realised my mistake)who then did a flying scissors kick and the ball left the keeper grasping for air.Good fun :COOL:

Like i said earlier; to perform a fake pass in FIFA09 (all over the pitch), you had to pretend you were gonna cross. Now you just pretend you're gonna shoot (anywhere on the pitch) and it will work.

It's the easiest trick there is and I could do it earlier. I could do the harder ones easily though. Thx for the help.

Ok fellaz, I have played the demo thus far. I still haven't been able to get past any player with just twist and turn here and i am using messi, xavi and iniesta here but no luck at all even with the so called 360 movement. It still has that fifa feel to it.

A very solid game and i see some good improvements over fifa09 in alotta aspect. I still can't shake off the fifa rigidity about the players turns n twist.

However if this was the only soccer game this year i won't have a problem with it. SOLID GAME

Have you tried using the triggers :/ You can easily get past a man. There are all sorts of ways to do it, not just running, but if you want to, you can certainly do it without using any skills.

So Chris once you've downloaded the entire demo, do DVD R- do the trick when burning the "content" file on them ?

Firstly I'll like to say how anyone thinks this is a FIFA 09.5 in any shape or form is deluded or hasn't played FIFA 09 for awhile. Seriously I was pretty blown away from the moment I started playing due to how different it is compared to 09. Every single mechanic' of the game is changed :SHOCK: and in a good way.

I thought I was fairly good at 09 and could actually beat a man quite often but so far I've completely struggled on 10'. Skilled dribble and 360 dribble is noticeable but it seems very difficult to get a hang of for me right know.

Passing is improved slightly from a Assisted point of view but when you go to Semi or Manual the difference is bigger (and harder on all settings) Shooting is the obvious one which is ten times better. One thing which is great though is the tackling system now, You can't just hold X/A and run around, theirs actually skill to it! Which opens up the game with giving you more time on the ball or constant freekicks.

The build up play seems much better than it was last year, The through ball whores are in trouble whilst 3-4 passes won't get you through on goal as easily.

I seriously think this is a huge leap from 09 and probably as big a leap as it was from 08 to 09. :DD

Yes but the loading times will be awful. I'd imagine the commentary would be half an hour behind as well. ;)

DVD+Rs will work perfectly, DVD-Rs will work but just barely.

No, they have to be run off a DVD. It's either that or disassemble the hard drive and stick it into your PC via a SATA cable.

If you're burning the demo correctly (I have no idea how the download is set up, whether it's a case of copying a folder to disc or what - see Placebo's original posts in this thread about it for more info) it should work without a hitch, as long as you're using single-layer DVD media.

It will come up as a Mixed Media Disc (if not then it hasn't been burnt correctly). Then you go to the normal section you would run a downloaded demo from and it will appear in the list.

It worksssssssssss and my first comment is that the people who cannot notice the 360° movement are blind or are looking at something too complicated.It's so subtle

Hey guys! Just got back from work and starting to finally get a chance to dig in with Fifa, 2 questions tho that I haven't quite been able to figure out yet: I thought that you could shift the ball from one foot to the other with the right stick this year, how do you do this? Also I thought that with skilled dribbling you'd be able to face up to the defender, is this not how it works? I've had trouble figuring out how to best use the skilled dribbling so far...

One thing not in gameplay that I loved to see was the weak foot star being back in the main player menu, and the new skilled dribbling star :) Hopefully not too many players will have 5 star skilled dribbling, we shall see...

Hold both triggers to switch feet. Practice in the arena by standing still and while holding the triggers move the stick side to side to switch feet.
That answers both questions I think.

Opinion from me, PES die-hard fan (apart from shitty 08,09 editions), also a FIFA basher (I liked 09 a lot, this one has my respect)

Really enjoying it so far, little tweaks here and there made it feel like a fresh game again which is what I expected, "don't fix if it's not broken"

What I like :

360 control - I thought this will be PR yapping and more of a gimmick - but it's not, you really need to focus even on simple running down the wing, it's not a straight line anymore (I love it), new close control dribbling is something new to master, noone asked for it but here you go, another feature adding depth to gameplay

new tricks, collisions, bodychecks, clean tackles - this is some exciting sh1t in there guys!

old patterns don't work, need to relearn a game and change my gameplan - again, EXCITING

1on1 situations with keeper are not so easy as before, Zlatan is tragic for me :) screwed so many - more learning more practice needed, great!

shooting is redone and because of that I'm struggling a bit now, positioning and timing much more important and even if everything is ok, Lampard can still fuk it up :FAIL: extra dimension added

passing much smoother, playing as Barca feels easy as it should, they can play fastpaced stuff if they want, BUT Yaya Toure won't pass great lofted through ball for Messi as Xavi would do - some individual abilities are visible

loving high balls now, faster and they are not meaningless anymore, will use them more than ever

What I don't like :

overall ratings after match still too high

FPS drops on warmup on Barcelona stadium (FIWC or smt), WTF EA?

That's it, can't find anything to rant about :OOOH: Buying it day 1,
