Can I just break this DRM conversation to say - I am actually still really enjoying this game. It has its downsides but especially when you get to know how it moves, you can create some really nice attacking play, really smooth stuff.
In particular the varying speed of players, and the effectiveness of short long balls (i.e. in the air, but over a short distance), plus the control the right analogue stick gives you, can make FIFA 09 really exciting at times. All of these are things you don't get in Pro Evo.
I guarantee if I'd been recording some of my games, the flow of the match would shut up a few of the console owners for sure.
I also scored a superb volley with Seedorf last night - much like Rooney vs Newcastle a few seasons back - I'm well pleased you can do that in this game.
