The guy in that clip made me smile when talking about the new collision system - using Drogba as an example of a strong player who is not easily knocked down by challenges.:LOL:

If all them features from PC are in 360...I'll be the happiest man alive

I just think they'll remove half the stuff for next gen version..such as the fake throws, freekick variations and jostling in the corner

fake throws are in the next gen game
as will the collision system but not free kick variations (as of now as I have read nothing about it)

Just more EA buzz-words, mate. I would doubt there actually will be this many improvements - 250 seems like too round a number. Or maybe I'm being too cynical?:THINK:

an improvement could be as simple as this

Referee

theres 3 improvements already lol :P

Ability to change tactics online 4
ability to set camera angle in any way you want now 5
tactics changer in game 6
new collision system 7
fake throw 8


(could be 10 more improvements to the collision system that adds to the list of 250)

you get where I am going they are all small minutes improvements but things that will make this game absolutely amazing!!

The PC version looks piss poor IMO. Nothing really changed at all apart from the collisions.

Same game, only improved graphics. And from distance, tele camera, you don't even notice the improvements. I think 350 new animations are just for the collision, fouling and falling, look at the pases, as in fifa08, just two animations! Inside and outside the foot! The movements of the players, the "feel" of the game, just the same. The EA guy actually gave me an headache, bla bla bla...Big dissapointment

Well, after not playing either euro 2008 or fifa 08 for maybe 2 months (euro was the last one i played), i today inserted fifa 08. Before playing, i updated it with the major transfers so far..not many..just deco to chelsea, ronny to milan, flam to milan etc. Played some games and...WOW. What a brilliant game. Better than euro in nearly every way. Manual through balls are 360 degrees, instead of 8 in euro. Crowd noises piss all over euro from a great height, as does Tyler's commentary over Tylesdlay (or however you spell it). I noticed no lack of responsiveness or delay you guys speak of (although tbh I never did...i firmly believe that you guys look for flaws so hard that you actually begin making them up (not in this case but in other games too)), the shooting is more dynamic and controllable than euro..euros graphics are slightly better but it really doesnt matter. Additionally, i prefer the default 08 camera to the slightly changed co-op one in euro.

In Conclusion, FIFA 08 > Euro 2008. :D

So if FIFA 09 > FIFA 08, im a happy man.

i think Fifa09 on the Pc looks great. The faces looks more realistic than on the consols.

It seems, that after years of PES on the pc i will get Fifa on the pc this year. I am looking foward to all the editing for Fifa(reminds me on the old days Fifa 98,99,2000 with all the editing - and i like it):-D back to the roots...

I know it is part of their marketing but it would be nice to have the list when the game is released to be able to check the main things they've been working on. As the preview said, some key features are very minor but it's still interesting to see exactly what they have been working on.

Running with ball is pretty old school and wrong on PC. Reminds me of ISS. I'll be sticking to next-gen..

What would be great in fifa 09 in online play is you could be playing Tim or CW and you can cut a really bad fucking fart and you can hear them spewing from the smell,now that would be next-gen..:DD

It used to be really good, using 4 connections with getright I'd get 1mb/s from it, today I got 9kb/s :(

i disagree with him. the response nis alot better in euro and the shooting is slighter better also. more venon in your shots the n in fifa08.

fifa 08 was too slow and felt too heavy. it was impossible to play pretty one touch football in fifa08 due to response and the over sluggishness of the game. it needs to be sharp, pin point and responsive. when i press X to pass in ffia 08 it takes 1-2 seconds for the player to pass. its next to impossible to play like MANU or arsenal in real life with fifa 08.

i dont know why you dont like euro but to me its alot better then fifa 08. hope fifa 09 has teh same speed and responsiveness has euro

I agree that Euro was more responsive but in Fifa you could easily put some sweet passing moves together ala Manure and Arsenal

the response issues only came into effect for turning and clearing/heading/shooting

Flowing 1 touch passing moves are a piece of piss in Fifa08, just a case of being observant and quickly spotting which players are open and such, obviously that's using all manually passing, can't stand semi/auto.
