no online tournaments? new features for online league like viewing actual points for each team ie a win = 3 points?

yea would be a nice feature but not too bothered about it has i doubt i will touch the single player manager mode. im all in for online play :) if there was a significant reason to play any offline mode such has maybe be a pro to develope your player to use online then i would consider single player in this game.

I wish the implement the choice to play BAP in a regular tournament too but that wont happen. Hopefully they have fixed your own team AI in singleplayer so I can go back and play manager mode.

The finals at proper stadiums and night games in manager mode is an absolute must.

That should have been in FIFA 08. This is how they get us to buy the game. I'm sure they miss out more obvious stuff in 09 so we buy FIFA 2010

Perhaps the shooting will be more realistic this year then. Him mentioning a specific goal might mean that they have looked at real-life examples and tried to replicate them in the engine, with backspin and all. :)

There is sooo much news on added features and alterations, they can't all be true... Can they :SS :pray:

I think they just need to tweak the shooting a little so they might actually have nailed it this time.

I know this is ridiculous but looking at football kingdoms nets I must say its a better feeling to see the ball going in when the net isn't so tight as they are in FIFA. And they also cut of the replay just as the ball hit the net. They should leave it a second or two more... I know I'm lame.

Agree with you here. However, I doubt anyone will ever get the nets as perfect as Footbal Kingdom did. Still waiting though.

They need to let it replay more after the ball goes in the net. Looks better.

I agree Nick but Pes had a proven gameplay engine in its time,FIFA is still new and still needs quite a bit of work IMO and thus they should get rid of implementing stupid things like celebrations and concentrate on the gameplay.

I can live with minor additions if i already enjoy the gameplay but I cant stand seeing a completely new feature only to see the keepers still behave like total plebs.Thats time and money spent in totally the wrong place.

they have a team double if not triple the size of konami's they can implement celebrations and much more it does not affect the gameplay as they have seperate teams doing seperate part of the games so I never understand those complaints....

EA's man power is that big that adding gimmicks does not mean the gameplay is not been worked on!

yeah but pes would fuck with the engine itself... and take things out of the enginer that was there before..

Exactly. Unlike Konami, EA has the manpower to improve all areas of the game so we are right to expect much more from FIFA 09.

You hit the nail on the head there Dr Force... "Had", they milked it to death and took out perfectly good options and features for no reason, I hate the new celebration crap in FIFA, I also hated the make a run feature from a while back but at lease this time EA seam to be listening and making changes where the fans are pointing? :))

Yes I have to admit being very surprised by EA's U-turn after years of producing utter shit, at least they are listening to football fans to improve the game.

I also like the fact they have real footy fans at the helm in the production team and that also counts for alot.Konami are, for the first time, looking at what now makes FIFA successful rather than the other way around.

As i say though, things like keepers behaving realistically with quality AI are a primary concern in a footy game, I'm just praying that this years net minders are keeping goal much better than the early reports we have so far heard.:pray:

Ye PC gameplay quite abit thought them new collision animations they done for it look sweet hope they are in console version. :))
