Didn't someone post an interview with some FIFA guy saying that the problem with 360 movement would be that the player had to touch the ball every degree they turn? That's not true because that is not how the 360 movement should work. The way it should work is after you touch the ball the player and ball will move in the direction you point, and only when you touch the ball again (have it under full control) can you change direction. This is basically how it works in real life, it's not like they should make it behave like if you're playing the NHL game where the puck (ball) always stick to your club (foot).
It would actually work exactly like now but without the 45 degree snapping. I don't think you really need all 360 degrees, I think 64 or maybe 128 would be more than enough. It's not like you often feel that you have the urge to turn one degree to the left.
