There isn't. I play it every day, and fouls are at the frequency they should be.

If you run around holding A for dea rlife, then you'll get lots of fouls, or if you run straight into people at maximum speed. You just need to avoid doing things that would cause a foul in real matches. :)

HOlding A all the time would be like going into a real match and kicking players on their legs every time you can't reach the ball. You need to time the button press to when the ball is withint reach, and you shouldn't press hard or almost at all from behind since the chance of hitting the ball is slim at best and the risk of hitting the player is substantial.

lightning is horrible in that picture...you shouldn't fuck with 10 year old engines and try to bring them up to date...

jesus, those videos are incredible. the one with just the normal match running is SICK.

the shielding bit when he does 2 players is awesome. i cannot wait.


btw how do you shield in fifa08? do you have to just be facing the opposite way to the defender?

I like the runs that your players will make, you can see it in action at the 7 minute mark on the second vid, where the computer player is making a run and calling for the ball with his hands out. Also, the trapping looks good now, in 08 the trapping was terrible and costs many people many goals.

Off the ball looks so much better when compared with 08, instead of passing, stopping then running now its very fast and fluid and how 1-2's should be (i like the pointing as well, reminds my of Derbys goal at Wembley ;)))

I hope them slide passes don't happen often because they look shit and would spoil it.

Whats good to see is that they know where they went wrong. They showed a typical cross into the box where a player should head it but he controls it and shoots straight after (which happens alot) but the 09 clip it does what its supposed to and heads it :))

Seems as players control the high balls away from danger and get them on the ground quickly now instead of controlling it towards a player and getting robbed of the ball every time

What can i say about the collisions? They few they showed just looked brilliant

But its pointless in 08 becuase by the time you have slowed down to shield, you have either been fouled or the balls been taken off you

Hopefully in 09 you can throw a long balls up to a target man, hold it up and wait for the runners from midfield instead of passing backwards and using the wings all the time

I wouldn't say it's completely useless, just not completely useful ;) I tend not to do it much because there's better ways of achieving what I need in matches :)

youtue quality doenst suck anylonger. for new vids there is a option to watch them in high quality. not that I would care but I wanted to mention this. btw thx for the wmv versions. gonna download them later

as far as I know its configured automatically. its an viewer side option which is enabled only on new videos.

you have to google for details cos I never upload anything on youtube once they deleted my borussia vids due to copyright claims

seems like wmv is random. maybe you should try a different format like mentioned in coopz´s link

I know, mate :)

Sorry that I wasn't clear. But it was annoying when your opponent (read: mate) was doing it. By pushing X while I already virtually went past him, he could kill my attacks without getting cards for it.
