Well to me it's kinda important, in manager mode I don't buy players when they have a regular face.

wow, how times have changed around here - you can see by my join date i'm just about as 'old school' as they come and i remember it wasn't that long ago when previews of the newest upcoming WE/PES release were posted, you didn't dare complain about half of the kits being unlicensed or 'Merseyside Red' or only 3 leagues being in the game or the "who ate all the pies" banners everywhere or the KONAMI logo being stamped in just about every bare space in every stadium -

GAMEPLAY IS ALL THAT MATTERS! would be the response if you had the audacity to suggest otherwise :nono:

now after EA have seemingly spent the majority of their efforts on improving gameplay the concerns are that player's faces aren't realistic enough or that there is an EA patch on the fully licensed kits or that the nets don't ripple properly or that there are too many opposition supporters in the stadium ;)

anyhow this post is only half-serious if that - i completely understand the desire for realism and these minor items bother me as well. i just thought i might point out the irony of videogaming (and basically technology) in the 21st century - the more things improve, the higher the bar of expectation is risen. makes me wonder what we'll all be fussing about 5 years from now - maybe that the scuff marks on the ball aren't in the exact place where it was kicked? :mrgreen:

It looks so good. Its great that they showed the differences from FIFA 08. It really higlights the work they have put into the title and that those 250 improvements haven't gone too waste. :)

The ball physics, the animations, everything looks great. That tackle by the Everton defender on the Madrid player looked breathtaking. One bad thing I noticed is that the goal scored by the Everton forward was really powerful but the net didnt even ripple much. But I suppose you cant have everything. Day one definte purchase. Roll on September 11th and October 3rd. :)

Off the ball looks great so does responsiveness much better.

One thing about header thing VDS saved think was Vidic and Evra seemed to run away from ball not good and left Torres with simple header.

Omg at physical actions so much better :SHOCK: and lol at in air collisions :DD

Looks so good cant wait :applaud::))

Wasn't there a problem with FIFA08 that consisted of every goalkeeper taking the goal kick with the same foot? Left or right, I don't remember. Has that been fixed?

My worse fears has been confirmed. The BAP season mode looks like an upgraded version of the Current gen version. Only one league is being played, no other leagues at the same time. This mode will be such a disappointment if it in any way resemble the current gen version, believe me. This is nothing like Fanatasia or what it is called, because as I understand in PES become a legend you will be able to be bought by other teams and so on. This will not be in FIFA.

It's not a real league, it's created as a "game" to be able to get enough points to play for your country. This is me speculating, but because I've played the disgusting current gen mode I have a feeling where this is going. This is the reason for only four seasons. Because as I said, no other leagues or anything is being played. Maybe not even national cups.

Only mode I really wanted to play and it looks like it could turn out shit. Maybe it's time to get live gold again and play BAP online...


Edit: Also something that looks like it could be very annoying is when defenders are falling over in a heading duel. They get back up so slowly, like the old goalkeepers. I can just imagine how pissed off you'll be when your defenders just lie on the ground in your own penalty area and just get up casually letting the other team score. Yeah I'm pessimistic.

Like someone else said i didnt like when Yakubu shot at 8768758589 mph the net didnt even move. The cage nets are back
