FC Barcelona Thread

Lol what's this!?

He's a decent singer it seems lol.

That goal of his against Sporting Gijon to come back and get a point I'm reminded of now! What a GOAL!! Pure INDIVIDUAL magical talent from Messi with the dribble and the most delicious through-ball and the rest was classic David Villa! Absolute class, the movement and the 1st-time perfect chip/lob from edge of the box.

For those who don't remember or missed it, this one...

Pure class! Made it look SO easy! lol

hehehe villa for eurovision!!

yes, is a good goal....i wait that villa is a full in final CL...in this moment villa is a bite down....run,fight..but no score...

Yes, and I think he will show his usual self in the final.

This season he's been good but not his usual self. His own GOD-like standards. In the final, perhaps at last, we'll get to see the real David Villa and then Man Utd will in even bigger trouble. He always performs in big games too. Spain have David to thank for World Cup and European Champions to a large extent. I think the final is perfect showcase for him. Problem is Pep always subs him after 70 mins or so...

I remember the day he came back [after the injury]. In the middle of the game I said: 'Puyi, I've missed you so much.' He told me to shut the hell up and concentrate.

One time, the game was stopped, someone was on the stretcher, and he was shouting at me. I said to him: Calm down, it's 4-0 and there are three minutes left.' He said: 'So what? Focus! I know you.' I was dying with laughter. Puyol keeps you on your toes at all times.

Curly locks, Cap'n Caveman, Tarzan... (Ray Hudson's words, not mine)

They should just marry each other.

Excellent drawings and excellent analysis of what makes Messi so good. The point number 6 is a lot more important than it seems. His incredible first touch and ball control abbility allows him to always have the feet near the ball, and be able to quickly change direction without reducing speed. Bloody difficult to do if you go out there and try it yourself with a ball at full speed.

So today is the day. I hope we see a good football match. I think the chances are very even, a lot more than what people thinks here. I don't see any team winning easily, I expect a very tight game that will be decided in very small details. The team who makes his style work will have an edge. I know I sound like a stereotyped cliche, but it's just what's tonight about.

Both teams are just great, the best of Europe right now. The good thing is both teams already have the domestic trophy, so part of the pressure of winning the title is out and they can focus in playing better to win.

I really wish you a lot of luck, guys, enjoy the match! And hope we win our 4th! It would put a sweet brochure to another great season.

And in case we loose, I say it now: thanks Pep for delivering us this team and this quality football. We know it's been a very hard season for a lot of reasons. To all the team: Thanks for all!

I would wish good luck normally but I wont this time :PP Do you think this could be Pep's last match as Barcelona Manager Drekkard?

i would like barcelona to win BUT there are a few arrogant barcelona fans especially in here that are downright disrespectful and because of that, i wish united for them to win

I hope it's not his last match! Though being coahc of Barcelona is a very hot seat. The pressure from the famous Barcelona "environment" it's brutal. You only have to compare a photo of him 3 years ago before becoming the coach with his present looks. He has aged 10 years in 3.

He congratulated Ferguson for keeping his hair after 25 years of football.

Even Mourinho seems to have aged a lot this season. Anyway, good luck tonight. I have no favourites so may the best win. Hoping for a great game.

good game so far, barcelona have not showed up yet!

barcleona are not pressing the ball at all and cant even string more then 2 passes together.

only 10mins played so still early days.

United up for it. Barcelona look nervous/scared

Well, I'm always repeating myself when going to this thread but what can I do? They are always winning! So, once again, congratulations culés! :D

EDIT: Very gentle attitude given Abidal the opportunity to raise the trophy. :APPLAUD:

Congratulations to Barcelona, undoubtedly the better side/best side.

Hope you Barca fans realise how lucky you are to have such an incredible team!

Just amazing. Without doubt the best team I've seen play in my lifetime and its incredible to watch.

My dad told me tonight as we were watching, that this is best football he has seen, and he seen a lot..

he saw United vs. Benfica in 68 for example...

Barca are out of this world currently...

you can say whatever you want but they are simply best.

Great win by what is probably the best club team ever.
4 great goals.
United were very good in the first half, but were no match in the second one.

What i also like is the fact the Real Madrid's idiot complot theory was proven wrong. On Man Utd's goal Giggs was marginally off-side... (but to be fair it was a great goal).

Superb Xavi pass for the first goal.

Great positive final, very good football from both sides. A triumph for football.
Congratulations to Barca but also to Man Utd because they tried to play football.

Van der Sar was fantastic in his last match (and yes that Messi goal was a very difficult ball): what a fantastic carreer this guy has had. I wish him all the best for his post football carreer.

UNSTOPPABLE! THey did it their way ! pass, press ,score and WIN. Not 1 player but all players won with 3 different scores :WORSHIP:
