You have 3 different vsync options - Off; enable 1 and enable2.... god knows what the latter 2 do though

patch isnt out yet. But that is definitely the issue with stutter and fps drops as far as im concerned. No matter what option you select in nvidia control panel the game will still keep vsync on. It's hardcoded so to speak. Cannot be turned off inside the game, otherwise the options would still be there. stutter is caused by vsync being on.

When the patch is out try the 3 diff vsync option in settings.exe and one of them will fix your problem, im sure of it

It turns out when I talk to people, fans of the series, that many people think like me, either they are just afraid to say it because the crowd will accuse them of trolls, or because they just have a hard time explaining what the problem is in the game. For me, the difficulty is solely in the language barrier, but I personally understand very well what is fucked up in this game. Damn it, I've been playing it almost all my conscious life for god sake.
I've been doing BFL PES mods for many years, administering - moderating forums, paying for domains and a host for a PES site for 10 years now ... even wondering why I'm still doing it, I understand that in Bulgaria the PES community is almost gone, but here it is. I still do it and I don't know why.

I can't stand reading the comments or looking at reviews that say the eF2020 is the best PES of all time, it's an insulting to whole PES Legacy...

45 hours, wow! I'm on 14 hours and unless they revert to the demo gameplay that number isn't going to change. I've turned it on a few times over the past couple of weeks but haven't been able to finish a single game before quitting and coming to the conclusion that PES 2019 (a game I didn't particularly like) played a superior game of football, at least on legend. I'd take any of the previous 5 editions over this.
 
Installing mods with sider was actually a lot easier than I expected it to be! Seemed daunting at first when you see the mass of threads in the editing section, but the EvoWeb Patch offers a great base for further add-ons.

Most of them are as simple as extracting a folder to the correct directory, and adding one line to an .ini file in notepad.

The only thing that I'm still not sure about is online compatibility. Seems like adboards can cause problems there.
 
I am loving this version, but the online does not seem to work for me, I can't find an opponent. I am New Zealand but I would have thought I should still find someone. Last year on PES 2019 it did not work for the first month.

I've actually gone back to playing PES 2015. I'm just tired of being a part of the same gameplay patterns over and over such as never getting the ball back until opposition is in my half (so I keep asking myself "why the fuck am I even bothering to run after players in their half? Am I some sadistic puppet?" Because I'm basically doing what the AI wants which is to make it LOOK like normal play and that if I keep running from player to player I'll eventually get the ball when I know and the AI knows that that's really not the case, I only get the ball when they come into my half so yea I just feel like a puppet during those moments and games should be about interaction and playability and there is nothing interactive or playable about being a part of that repetitious pattern of play (in previous games your work in their half i.e. pressing hard off the ball WOULD PAY OFF!).

In hindsight silly me because I thought by dumbing the game down it would be better but it's still just as wishy washy. Sometimes things work sometimes they don't. Overall, there's just no real consistency especially when it comes to the finer things so in the end I just don't give a shit about what I'm doing and like you (Lucagian) I cant even bring myself to finish a full game without turning it off even though I tend to come home from work with an urge to put it on - the old lure of a new PES has always been hard to neglect but really this one is different and I've never said that before. I really don't feel that I'm the one in control all the time. I mean if I do a trick I want it to happen consistently, not just break whenever the AI decides, same with passes and shots. I mean the fucking shots Jesus fuck they're awful. One minute a brilliant half-knuckle off the post then 10 seconds later all things equal you balloon-float over a mile wide (where's the fucking consistency???), so I think logically and decide to use less power next time I'm in that position and guess what I get another floaty nonsense shit over the bar, at this point I just think "man fuck this for a game of darts" and turn the shite off. The only consistency with shooting is the inconsistency, because no matter the controls I decide to employ whether it be left stick direction + power variation or left stick direction + power variation and R2 (or start being fancy and bringing R stick into the equation) I get the same shitty shot over the bar until the AI decides Ok let him have the shot he's after and I've no clue or control over when that will be and I'm supposed to enjoy this and feel 'part of the game' or 'believe because I'm playing'? Konami can rightly fuck off because PES 2020 is absolute drivel.

People call it realism but it's really inconsistent. I don't want to be a part of the exact same patterns over and over and over. Like every-time you move into opponents half in centre of goal you get closed down by second player EVERY SINGLE TIME IN THE EXACT SAME MANNER! Or the players just dispossess you regardless of inertia or movements or tricks just nah! We're taking the ball and that's that! It's poop! It maybe a little slower (I call it sluggish) than previous titles but that doesn't make it more playable. At it's core its completely rotten.

Sorry about the rant and language but I had to vent it somewhere. Young folk and ladies close your eyes, staff and devs my apologies.

Does this make a difference? I'm not sure what the profile is, do you mean to 'optimise'? I think I added PES2020 to geforce experience before the update but I can't remember if there are any differences.

Also, unrelated but I'm hoping someone can explain a little more. I just got PES2020 and started ML. There's a LOAD of players on the transfer list. Like half the Liverpool squad is on there. But when I go to make a bid, the message below says like the club will be unwilling to release a key player or something like that. Well, why are they transfer listed then? Am I missing something really obvious here?

Unlike PES19 where you could see the likelihood of success, I can't tell why or what's happening with this.

I havent used my geforce experience on pes20; but i remember it saying to optimise my pes20 all it would change was to make it full screen. Literally only thing i have changed is vsync to adaptive on Nvidia control panel and it still stutters albeit not all the time. It's Pes itself causing the issue with its vsync built in. demo had zero stutter

I have had the same transfer market issue... i think it just means you have to pay over the odds

This update for me feels faster, the ai seems to have lost the human errors they were making. They are not dribbling and just pingponging around. Was enjoying vanilla up till yesterday
