eFootball PES 2020 Discussion Thread (PC)

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help? My master league keeps crashing on the same day about 25th of August during first transfer window. Game just completely shuts down. Anyone had the same issue or has a recommended fix?

60hz monitor rtx2060 6gb. i79700k. Only one which seems 'ok' ish at the moment is vsync ON in Nvidia control panel and enable 2 from pes settings

vsync off in NVCP and each setting in pes is very stuttery to the point of not playable.
The setting i need is there somewhere i just cant nail it yet...

Could even be windows 10 come to think of it... windows defender etc running in background. Version of W10 i have cannot turn defender off. I am stumped. I have had games in the past on old rigs which run better on W8, or with defender off
 
Hi everyone, I searched the thread but couldn't find much on this.

There's a frustrating issue I'm having with the camera during matches. I'm using the new default camera and at times when a ball is cleared or kicked long up in the air, the camera doesn't move with the ball fast enough so I can't see what my defenders/attackers are doing. It takes a few seconds for the camera to 'catch up' with the gameplay and by that point the ball already landed and I've either lost it or made a dumb mistake.

It makes it hard to defend or to counter attack! Is this a bug? or is there a setting to turn this off??
 
Online is a lag fest disaster. One game

Before the latest patch (I can't try WITH it yet) my best settings were.

  • 60 hz screen - vsync adaptive in nvidia - 60fps in game settings
  • 144 hz screen - vsync adaptive (half) in nvidia - 30fps in game settings
You could try adaptive in nvidia and OFF in game settings to see if that helps? I'll be playing around with it (either today or tomorrow) so if I find a new golden-combo I'll let you know.

at the moment vsync on in nvidia but enable 2 in game settings is doing ok, not noticing any stand out stuttering. But the stuttering when/if it did happen is caused by vsync. The sweet spot is there somewhere.

Adaptive in Nvidia - 60fps and vsync off in game settings is working great for me.

Edit: Just to say this is on my 60hz monitor. I haven't tried on the 144hz one yet.

I have a similar problem. I play Master League with the Bundesliga Patch by CYPES (CYPES 2.0) and my game always crashes right after the first Bundesliga match. It only happens when I have signed up a new player before. After restarting PES I have to play the same match again and it still crashes afterwards. This is really frustrating and makes Master League unplayable.

Im using:

Vsync off in game settings

Nvidia - Vsync on - Fast

Rivatuner - max 120fps


Very smooth, very consistent.

Playing on 1440p 144hz monitor. RTX 2070 super & 3700X

Right now for me so far vsync on in nvidia and enable2 in settings seems to be ok. Might try the adaptive in NVCP and disable vsync in pes settings later see how it is. Im on 60hz monitor rtx 2060 i79700k
 
On the free agents list there is the legend players under fake names. If you sort the list by overall rating descending order they are at the top. (di mirabeau, monteleone, rampf etc) Any way i can stop them being involved in ML. ?

Are they using pc players as guinea pigs again?
Going to play more on the weekend but looks like the game its sped up alot
 
Just saying, but when you choose anything else than "Use the 3D application setting" in the Nvidia Control Panel, it's completely irrelevant what VSync is set to in the game settings. The Nvidia driver setting always has precedence.
 
I am seething and extremely frustrated with the whole DPFilelist / DLC situation. WHY do these problems PERSIST year after year. I cannot play anything anymore and hours of work gone into editiing, tactics and master league are gone. I am so very, very fed up with this.

This is not entirely true. In theory, Nvidia should always override application settings. But in practice, badly coded applications and/or ones not fully recognised by Nvidia drivers can cause all sorts of issues.

Why did you cut to 120fps ? The more fps the more fluid gamplay.
Im also testing 2070 super and must cut to 150fps cause more than that causes delays in key reactions. Iam even thinking about buying weaker card so not to cut fps with riva
