Everyone knows this is Pes 2022, it's just that some are in denial.

IN store description they also say: "we hope to whet your appetite for the game that is going to be released" or something like that. But i'm asking myself: are Konami so out of touch they don't understand this beta is awful?

Of Corse that is PES 2022. Yes its bad and people wanna to believe there is other better game that will be called PES 2022 but.. no ! THAT will be PES 2022, a bit polish and some moving hear on players heads.

I want to make some short review of Xbox Series S/X version ! Its runs way smoother but the problem is that i cant found a opponent for long time. When we connect, online works fine, no lag at all !
The gameplay is 1:1 with this on PlayStation 5, and i hate every part of it. New shooting are awful, the GoalKeeprs are superhumans again, the close control is a joke, the shielding is OP and looks like a joke too. Аgain after headers, the ball flies too high almost every time, no matter how much power and direction to you put. The defending is still painful and i see a lot Xbox players to struggle , i easy dribbling or passing around them.
Like PESSEP say, Konami remove PES DNA with all this changes .

I call him a big mouth because of his laughing about people with other opinion. All the guys who think "this beta is PES 2022" are laughing about people who thinks it isnt..
Thats wrong. You can think it is PES 2022, but don't do if people who think otherwise are crazy.
For the sanity of the thread, Please stop Berjan. I mean this in the nicest possible way.

This will not be the final Result! Maybe its an early build after the convert from Fox to Unreal Engine but most of the Assets are not on the Quality Level of PES 2021 like Crowd, Player Models etc. That are Placeholders wich will replace in the Progress of the Game.

3 Weeks ago we had this Interview with a guy from the Development Team who spoke about Photorealism. I mean come on this Online Test has nothing about Photorealism.

If you really think that we will become this as a new game you must be really out of realism! Sorry Bro

People here are thinking that Konami will let them play their next gen football game free of cost, that too with photorealistic graphics. The reason that there is an announcement on July 21 is that, this NFG is definitely not what they'll present to us as the full game. Otherwise, there would've been no need for an announcement to build hype for a poorly made game.

wow what a revelation ... it's PES 2022, but it's going to test online servers for PES 2022! as far as build is concerned, he only knows only konami ...

It's kinda funny how all these grown up men here act like the biggest Konami-Experts because OF COURSE they know everything and this online test MUST be the real deal. Tbh kinda cringy behaviour. Reminds me of the 12 year old FIFA-kiddos. Raging about a game that isn't really announced yet (besides the one teaser a year ago).

cant you guys understand that people are talking only about gameplay aspects, and not about the graphics.

we all know that when the game is released you will have messi hair floating like a Loreal commercial , but shooting , passing and moving like this beta, even if a little better and with slightly better and more animations added to it.
But gameplay prínciples, phisics, and most important, mechanics, etc will remain pretty much the same, and this is why almost everybody, me included, are worried about.

My fear is that gameplay wont be far of what we are seeing here.
The survey itself is more or less a proof for this. A lot of questions are purely gameplay related (defending, dribbling, referees, goal satisfaction).

It amazes me how there are still people who claim that this has nothing to do with Pes22..

Exactly. I'm not worried about the graphics. On PC the whole game can look different using mods. But the horrid gameplay is what's shocking to me.

Very disappointed with this early PES 2022 build.

For me, two aspects of pes game I wanted biggest improvement are:

-variety in player attributes and skills (less generic players) and

-less assisted passing.

Unfortunately, those aspects seems to got worse, and I don't expect them to improve in the final build.

I actually love this thread. The jury is assembled but the robbers have not even gone in the bank yet !
No, the robbers are currently testing their floppy disks to crack banks network security system..
People are merely weighing out their chances of success. Sure, they might have some unexpected ace up their sleeve, but judging by the floppy disk - they aint Ocean's 11..

All you guys are wrong, it's very clear to see it's the Back of a barn owl, stretching it's wings.

It's the kid on the left, the other one doesn't really look up for it, only looking around for help.
Remember what Mr Miyagi taught? "Daniel san! focus da eye". ;) Damn! i so want that game!!
I do not repeat repeat repeat repeat...

We all want the new ultimate shrek football simulation. Hopefully next decade soon.

:BYE:

Yes we understand this but we also understand that this Gametest ist just an early Version. So why should the gameplay the final result when all other things are obviusly are far from the final Version?

Konami just doing all the mistakes they can do.

if the game going to be on this build , this going to be one of biggest failures like cyberpunk.

I don't understand what they have done on this 2 years , but this is looking bad.

Sees no reason for optimism .

They're unlikely to add a ground-up physics system/engine post-beta, that's the issue. They're also unlikely to introduce freedom in the passing model, or shooting. They're unlikely to implement a brand new AI model post-beta or new ways of interacting with the ball or other players. Most of us are assuming that as with most games, these systems are in from the very beginning. We know that fifa have added collision or new goalie systems later on in development, so journalists have tested version without those updated systems but we feel it's highly unlikely konami are capable of this, or have the inclination or budget. And crucially, EA were updating existing technology re physics and collisions, however weird they may look on outcome. Konami have no game systems in place, just a load of animations for the ball, for collisions etc..

So although all accept that this particular gameplay can be improved, for many of us, we were looking for a new, fresh, technologically advanced gameplay base, that it seems does not exist.

We all remember what happened the last time PES moved to a different game engine. I think none of us want to see PES released in that state ever again, which is why gamers are understandibly concerned. All we can do is wait until the last week in July and hope they show something a lot more polished and complete.

If there was something groundbreaking in the works you would already see the foundations of it, or at least glimpses of it. Think of PES 2014, as broken as it was the overhaul of the tech could immediately be observed and felt. I remember watching the first PES 2014 videos and getting immediately hyped, just the way the ball rolled around the pitch looked somehow satisfying and different. I think that's what people were excited to see when they first laid eyes on the new engine for the next generation. You'd almost want to see bugs and weird stuff going on because it would be evidence of new tech, but there is hardly any of that, the thing that is most suprising in fact is just how unambitious it is.

Gameplay is fundamentally different to visuals, there's only so much you can polish a turd in a few months, the vision and the tech to support a major overhaul has to be planned out and executed well in advance. The only optimistic scenario I could see is that maybe they branched off this first stable build following the port to UE and the final version will have had a full 6 months+ of development on it, which could result in something unrecognisable to this demo, but I just don't see this dev team pulling it ouf of the bag, just having a playable game on UE seems like quite a big acheivment for them, especally when it must be hard to attract talent to a company that relegates people to being janitors if they do a bad job.

How you know it a beta Brand? Maybe this code ist from 2018? We dont know it and Konami didnt mention it PES 22 and only as a new football game Stress test. Maybe this code is even not in PES 22 and only as a test dummy? We dont know it! So why did you based your Opinion on so little to nothing facts and make this Callout to a Game which until now dont even showed so far?

Why do you think this is the foundation of PES 2022? Who said this? Why it has the Stadion Assets from the Mobile Game in it? Maybe they just ported the Mobile Game to Consoles to just do what they say to do as a test!

They said it.

Konami themselves.

In a note to Eurogamer issued this morning, Konami said this demo is only a limited test version of the next PES, and its purpose is to check the quality of online matchmaking and connection to servers. All aspects of the game, including gameplay mechanics, balancing, animations and graphics are all under development, Konami stressed, and have already been improved and will continue to be improved before the official launch.

If things are being improved that means there needs to be something to improve upon. And this beta is the something, so that's the base.

I don't understand how this is difficult to understand for so many?
