Ok so you state clearly that this is a BETA and that we cannot comment on gameplay and marketing, and give us a link to konami site stating that.

But then, magicaly, you state that its OBVIOUS that this engine is still FOX when Konami clearly state on the splash logo of the "New footbal Game" when you load the game that its Unreal Engine.

I guess Konami info just fits your needs then.

Dude, this is said very much. There is a game called "new Football Project". It was made by Konami for Android. You can search it on google. Its the same game, beside that you can now controll the players.
Even the UI is the same.
The name is the same.

Its just a shame that people don't wanna listen/read anymore.

When you look on YT you see a video of New Football Project. Its totally the same. Even the UI is the same. Thats what in front of your eyes. Not the things you are claiming..
They wanted to know if the server are stil good when lots of people playing a game. Lot of the questions on the Survey can be asked for lag control..

New animation only on ps5 cause I play it on ps4 and nothing new was. Only better keepers reaction .
The change also the names in two attributes and add tackling .
for me that change was useless. Better to and vision add positioning for defenders .
 
This online testing version is NO demo or beta version.
Nothing there the judge the final product.
There are some things like pace, deflections (ball behaviour in general) etc that looks and feels promising for final version.
But I think gameplay, graphics (awful player models, crowd, graphics in general) etc will be totally another level like in this version - I think Konami does not want to show anything regarding PS5 / XSX version at this time, especially not in a playable version.
I think end of July we will see what PES 2022 is capable of and hopefully we will have a demo in August.

Most of the games who are nextgen are much bigger. Even PES 2021 demo was bigger.

You’re really misunderstanding peoples issues.

Yes this beta test may be the mobile game or based on the mobile game but this is 100% what the next gen game will be based on at full release.

The next gen game will be based on the mobile game/ Fox engine game.

There’s no other magical, super, full next gen game in development. This is what you’re getting.
 
Even when you think you've seen it all, Konami manage to come up with another absurd decision you never would have dreamt of.

Despite being so unexpected and confusing, it is absolutely typical Konami. Can't even be bothered to try theorising about what this shit even is and why they would release it on consoles.

It's garbage and if this is actually what "next-gen" PES 2022 is, or even based on whatsoever then to me football games are dead for the whole generation.

It more logical that they don't want us to see anything about the game PES 2022. Therefore they used a mobile game.
Dont forget they claiming that they working on PES 2022 two years by now. So if you think that this is it, then you are naiev..

Ofcourse this is just a network testing thing. Thats what Konami states on their website.

When you are right, then Konami lost it. Two years of working and this it what it is. Hilarious. But i think, we better wait for end of July.

Yes it's not the release version, everyone understands that, but it is the next pes at some point in development and people are discussing that.

Sorry, i only react on what i am seeing/reading. I don't see/read this note to Eurogamer, so don't blame me for that..

This is the gamechancer for me. If Konami states this is PES 2022, then it is. And than Konami is a joke. Two years of work and you only can show this. For a nextgen game? Its looks like 2008 for me, meaby worse.
 
People are upset and thats not the fault by people, its Konamis fault!

- they give us a superb teaser 1 year ago (hype was there)
- some articel about "build from scratch" - "three years in developement" - "photorealisim"
- after that NOTHING from Konamis side (people want some news or screens, just a small things to believe)
- in this time Konami is deliveing absolutly Bullshit, Community manager fail)
- NOW this ridiculus "beta" drops and for shure that was nothing that someone can be faithful for the future
- What they shown is so bad that people think that was a mobil game....

KONAMI is absolutly amateurish in terms of communication and marketing.

the most people that are so disappointed are in this PES Community for years and know exactly how Konami messed up Enginechanges in the past.

all people here want the same, a superb football game but on this point right now there is nothing that gives hope.

call it beta, alpha, network test, it dosent care, in fact that is the base of PES2022 and on this point we are far away from that what we want...

BTW ive played a lot of betas and alphas and this "new football game" thing is far away from something that look like a big change from the last decades!

ive filled dozens of surveys and with the last PES 2021 Update (datapack 7) nothing had change, AI is stupid AF like the last years, months and updates.

we will see what konami deliver on the end of July but at this point right know i do unterstand everyone who is pissed.... :SNACK:

Not trying to defend Konami here, but I don't think they would want to give away what their game will look/feel like through an Online Demo test. This differs from PES 2018 in that we already knew that it going to be a Fox Engine game and nothing mind blowing was expected.

The lack of communication with the fans is the big no-no here, with all executives sleeping while the community is flooded with questions regarding this Test, which need to be answered.
 
Even SWOS in my Series X is better and more entertaining online than this pré-baked-mobile/console-wannabe-football-game.

Well, all we can do now is wait and see if a miracle is made. But i guess i would believe more on that if instead of Konami the developer company was called "New Project football Company Entertainment"

It's better to set our expectations straight, and get a bad backlash now --which will be tempered down by calls of it being "just a beta"-- then have it mellow down over the next month till the official reveal, instead of have us build up the game with high expectations, then the reveal is met with a storm of backlash.

It's actually a smart marketing move. That said, I'd prefer to just have a game that comes close to meeting expectations.
 
So much drama, we have reached Emoweb-territory early this year. I have made fun of this Online-test-Football-Whatever but I don't see the point in acting like it's some traumatizing event if the final game turns out to be poor. I don't think it will, and I actually think some people here will be pissed off if they can't have a never ending moan about how bad it is, but either way, I will live. Or at least the game being poor won't be what kills me.
I have always been passionate about PES, but come on. It's still just a video game.
 
I was testing some more. The connection seemed not that good, even when I choose users nearby. This translated into the software for me. I was really digging deep and such but the only good thing I can find right now is the raise in access numbers for this website!

Yeah the discussion is non existant. It's just become an echo chamber of low effort complaining or cussing about a clearly unfinished, free product.

The quality of posting has just gone out of the window.

How can I blame Konami PR when the discord surrounding this franchise has been nonsense for years? First it was builds and their states, then it was just the demo and not the final game, this year it’s just a beta.

People let Konami get away with nonsense.
