They will slow it down again in season 4, which I suspect they will do until the master league and then we will most likely get a major gameplay upgrade in addition to the master league mode. You don't even have to follow Renan Glavani, who investigates the so-called "rumors". 😁
 
Same dogshit gameplay like a month ago. Players are faster than a pass. Players with 50 speed pass 95 ones easily. You cant pass the ball out from the back. Opposition players are more aware were you are passing than your players. Ball physics like kicking a blown up ballon. The rebound bullshit is still a chore mechanic.
Easily not a football game. Presspressrunrun game.

And pass target locking is more ass than ass was before it was just ass.
 
This is what F2P is all about. Pure gaming quality right here. This is not a handicap or a glitch. This is the improved gameplay mechanics that Bhatti and others were telling us about lol. Check out the supernatural force at work pushing the goalkeeper away from the ball while he attempts to save to shot, just like a real life.

I've also seen clips of balls going through players legs, players clipping each other, and other wonderful things in 2.4.0. Happy times everyone! 😊

Whatever this is (scripting, poor servers or poor game design), it's not new. It's always been like this.

I posted a review of my experiences nearly a year ago, and every week the video gets a comment from someone who has experienced the same things and worse.

The way defenders dance around a ball in order to avoid it (which then ghosts through him anyway) particularly pisses me off. It's blatantly cheating my opponent on my behalf in order for me to win easily, all the way through this video:

Even if the gameplay wasn’t so bad, there’s just nothing to do on this game. I’m an offline player.
At least with Fifa I can change the sliders to try and somewhat resemble football.

idk how to react about this, should i get exited for "new" stadium finally added, or not because it's the same old generic stadium which exist in pes for years.

Bet they didn't update a single thing in this stadium, just boot up pes 21 and it looks the same anyway.
 
I am enjoying the new update but the super cash shot is way too OP atm. Looking forward to the new fortress skill as this should balance it out a bit.

With these new skills coming out it really looks like Konami are laying the ground work for a revolutionary master league that will make us all 😲😲🤯🤯 just like Bhatti promised all those years ago. I also think it will be out much sooner than people might think as without us offline players the game will surely die.

Finally feels like things are moving in the right direction glad I decided to stick with this game! :PINKS:

Good lord, just watching the footage is enough to see how unresponsive the controls and input delay are.

It's like discount/ homeless Red Dead Redemption 2. At least RDR2 doesn't feel frustrating when controlling the player unlike this game.

And so much for "realism"/ "simulation". This shit feels more rigged than ps1 fifa games. At least the defenders wouldn't move away from the ball in those decade old games.

I wouldn't call it scripting, though - if it was scripted, it wouldn't take 60 seconds of complete gaffes to get to the point. It's just - let's face it, now - an objectively poor product. A free-to-play nightmare that bore no relation to the PES we love(d) from day one.

Mobile players will keep the servers on for a while. But it's not going to get better.

2.4.0. is dead. This build is broken. I knew it not just from how dreadful the gameplay is online which is honestly worse than FUT in arcade style cheeseball. Konami already started hyping 2.5.0 which tells you they have no faith in this build.

All 2.0.0. in general has been heavily biased towards defending and defensive awareness stat, tackling is far too easy in general but now its out of control and broken the game. Constant car crash moments of double, triple, quadruple tackles leading to easy goals, CPU/AI blatantly favoring one team over another depending on momentum.

All the elements they fixed gives tackling far too much emphasis and the improved dribbling is completely undermined by this.

2.5.0. must fix this laughably bad unbalanced state before this thig moves to 3.0.0 whenever its ready which needs to review the entire tackling mechanism which is far too easy. The game has one positive i can see right now, despite how shit this 2.4.0. the game seems to have reached the point at least where the responsiveness in general is consistent and the gameplay feels complete and not like a late stage beta anymore. Albeit a very poorly balanced game still.

Defending needs to go back to the much more manual style control we experienced in 1.0.0. as the player position has improved more than enough since then along with many bugs fixed.

We also need to see better ball physics from now or this game really doesn't have any future. There is no excuse for this, playing on manual I see the game is capable of much better.
 
you actually thought that there would be some progress in the game before it have a "full version" the game would be as it is. So far, there will only be minor changes. the most unusual is when it is written 2.4. is dead, what the hell is wrong with you because there is small difference at all between 1.0 and 2.4... the game has potential, but there are a lot of bugs, shortcomings, there are no teams, and they even have license agreements with konami, half of the things are locked, still online it's nothing special and it's like a beta version for me. I give them the only hope with the master league, but only IF the game is greatly improved, which I expect.
