eFootball (All Platforms)

As someone from a country that only has 2 seasons, can I ask when spring is exactly? 🙏
Spring usually refers to April to June in business in Japan.

I write more information about it if you want to know more about it. :D
It is the period between Vernal Equinox Day (春分の日) and Summer solstice (夏至). So it is 20 March to 21 June this year.

Vernal Equinox Day is also related to the day that America and Europe change to summer time. Basically it is referring to the same timing but the timezone changes in America and Europe will always happen on the nearest Sunday instead.

But the spring in China usually refer to the period start and end 1.5 months earlier. Lunar New Year, in mainland China, is also named as "Spring Festival" (春節) which is considered as Winter in Japan.

In my personal opinion, even with the "promised" modes and additions, I am sure I will find it hard to enjoy this game with the pathetic menus, relic lighting system, dead atmosphere and mobile type environment. Yes the faces, licensed kits and animations are nice (and much nicer than FIFA) gameplay also is a plus, but these positives can really become old and boring. I have logged almost 230 hours (%99 Authentic trial match mode) on eFootball because in my opinion animations, flow and gameplay was nice from v1 and later, but now I'm already real bored to play more than 2 games in a row and I'd expect that even with the alleged paid bonuses coming in months from now.
All that if they do not update to UE5. Which I greatly doubt, given they will try their best to milk mobile users as much as they can.
Exactly, I enjoy the Gameplay too, but everything else is missing.

Enjoying is a big word, but i appreciate it more than many PES versions, even from PS2.
They just forget to enhance what's all players are running over it : the ball (physics)

If or when they do upgrade to UE5, they'll probably fuck that up too.

One thing I'll give the devs credit for is they have good tastes in music for this franchise. Some of Efootball 23's soundtracks are good to listen to. It's too bad this game still isn't worth my time.

The last time I played two updates before, yesterday I played the latest version. I don't like the direction of change at all when it comes to the game vs CPU. Speed cap, a heavily scripted game that forces you to play ping pong, where previously you could run more with one player. I played two matches and I'm fed up, in earlier versions I played a lot vs CPU. There is no more flow, somehow wooden.

The update 2.4.0 is certainly a "FIFA'ish" kind of approach. Whether this is better than before or not depends on whom you're asking.

This is way too funny. Some key points:

- Player receives a pass by having his back turned and sticks his leg out giving away possession. Those us legacy fans who played on manual know how annoying that feels.

- Player's arms bend in a inhumanly fashion reminiscent of version1.0.

- Refs continues to match the Premier League's levels of officiating. In other words, it's still bad.

- Game still hasn't fixed all of it collision detection issues.

- Player switching still lacking responsiveness.

- Super OP through balls. How the fuck are some people still buying this game as skill based? All you need to do is buy a bunch of legends, play on assissted, and ping pong your way through victory. In older PES games, assisted controls didn't always guarantee a victory. You had to play the game like an actual football match. Here it's real easy. And if you cheat by manipulating the connection, and get away with it, you too can be as "good" as a pro player.

I love the new feature where your selected player keep running away from ball, even if you supercancel the scripted move

I really tried Konami, but this game is getting worse after every update. Uninstalling :R1

I've made my peace with their trashy F2P esports business model for this game. It's never ever going to be a true simulation football game. I'm past the point of getting angry over their unwillingness to be straight with the community, and quite frankly, they made the point rather clear when they've decided to put all of their eggs into the SH2 remake and other bigger IPs than Efootball. Efootball is like the child you accept into the family, but you don't have the same emotion attachment too like you do with the others.

But man the sheer amount of incompetency and lack of awareness coming from Coinami as it pertains to the current state of this game is one of the most mind boggling things with this company.

I don't even enjoy manual after the update now.

I have cleared a few of the challenges online even after a number of losses, in 2.3.0 it was fun most of the time, but 2.4.0 is just trash. Maybe I have to go back to PA3 to enjoy this or something.

Full manual one thing which has kept me playing this is horrible after the new update, game seems to have speed up so its all about going all out attack and just cheesing the game till you score. Manual is just a straight up disadvantage now, not even that there is games I win where I can just tell the game is screwing the other guy over and giving me luck and vice versa.

Apparently this master league is out in October or whenever so I'm struggling to see any reason to keep playing this.

A new low.

I know. I'm just done with the supposed marketing for this garbage. Its been too long now without a proper offline mode for this and it really shows.

The game I think has officially lost the last of it's identity. This is for me a wannabe FIFA clone now. The potential is still there if they decide to focus on offline, but for my sanity i will look to stick to PES 2021 permanently until we get something offline.

Online on PA4 was fun until 2.4.0. , I started celebrating goals again after even on PA3 i stopped, you could slow the game down and create some nice, fun goals. Now in 2.4.0 There nothing tactical whatsoever, its pure cheesy noob ball whatever setting you use.

You know a game is in trouble when tonight I had two back to back games vs players because there's so few people online. Konami heavily overestimating esports and underestimating how clearly we see how greedy the gameplan is with 100% focus on just Cheese Team mode.

People play with that ring under the player turned on, huh.

I do when on manual. massively helps with aiming. Even with it on you miss easy chances, without it online is just madness.

I remember some version ago when people sayed there was improvement in comparison to the previous version.

Now from what i read (didn't tried that version) it became a game so trashy? Not a question, i know it is, but i don't get how WTF the game direction is going. Don't even know if kids will like it, personally it wouldn't be my case even if i wasn't that much football games when i was young.

Perhaps that's what the "new crowd" want (i think that i found which people they call new crowd : those one who don't care about football. But like sort of gambling games)

Sad. Well what it's really sad is it became a circus and it seems to continue to force again and again and in the totally wrong direction, without even improving their games but the opposite ("dumbing" it) as fast as a bullet train.
We need PES back with their offline modes
Except miracle or another company buying PES production or how they call it now i don't care, the only way i see it stopping is a crash. No one playing any more and no money entering in Konami's casa.
But it's just big fantasm from a fan like me and you. The game would just disappears and the doors will close.

Maybe @Durandil67 notice to teams marketing people who are in the game but not even eligible to play with start getting some effect after a while however I highly doubt this will impact Konami

It's not just even the lack of content, what about the leagues who didn't even get a single mention in the game like Eredivisie, JPL, Portuguese league etc up to this day?

They don't have a strategy and simply for a company it is highly unprofessional but I guess that's how gaming companies work, they get away with it

I'd really like to know what these exclusive partner teams think.
Napoli for example. In FIFA you have to play them with a fake logo and fake kits unable to edit, in efootball you have crappy friendlies with no adjustable game time, difficulty etc. Not to mention no league mode or fucking anything.
They got the money from Konami, ok. But it cannot be in their interest how they are represented and that their fans are unable to play a proper career/league mode with them.

Do you remember PES 2018? Borussia Dortmund jumping ship to Fifa. Do we know the reason why yet?

If BVB wanted to jump then, I can't see why others wouldn't now. Celtic and Rangers both left Konami and signed with EA last year. I've seen nothing special yet from that partnership, but it must show something

All events of them are useless
The fuzz about that ecoppa italia tournament, nobody cares about
We need PES back with their offline modes
Efootball is not PES, it never will be, nor does it want to be.
It's a miracle that SH has a remake and games that are not as a service, coming from Konami.

The bad thing is that by not seeing another soccer game for consoles (EF is a hybrid with Mobile) we are forced to play FIFA and its friends (UFL)

Playing J-league online with lowranked players really shows that there is quality in this game.
So much fun .
But offcourse we need offline modes and in my case if i could wish it would be League, edit and cup modes so i can play with friends in the sofa with some beers on the table .
But i also understand that there isnt a big market for this kind om modes .But still cant be that much job for them to fix that, and at least i would pay an annual fee for that instead of meaningless tournament with 100 rated players.

I did not have any fun whatsoever playing that stupid J-League challenge which really should be an authentic team challenge, but no, Konami want to force everyone into Cheese Team instead of just letting people pick authentic teams do the same challenge without have to buy the entire squad they pick.

Playing on PA4 Full Manual, too many games where fluke nonsense goals happening, one team either me or my opponent being favored by the game. Playing vs mostly guys clearly on PA2 or PA1 cheesing the ball up the pitch with silly 4-2-4 style G.Zielder (Klopp) Quick Counter. So dull, after i finally got my 50 coins, I'm done. Did not enjoy even beating these guys on full manual or celebrated any of the goals I scored.
