eFootball (All Platforms)

This new update has this PES 20 Demo gameplay feels to it yall remember that awesome demo gameplay and later they messed it up in the final release?
I’m honestly loving it. Maybe it’s coming from the other game but it flows really well. Had yellow cards, sending offs. It just flows how I liked the older Pros. Hopefully they carry on with this trajectory and we get offline modes and good online co op. First time in a long time that I feel like I could play for hrs. Got spanked off untied and still enjoyed it.

"In the local mode, there are only the partner teams for the moment, but others will come in the future. And later on, in one of the new seasons to come, all the teams of all the leagues will be unlocked. When that happens, we will talk to you again, so that you can amplify the message and say that all the clubs are already available and the challenges we are waiting for can be done".

"Especially for those who come from playing PES, it's not the same game, it still doesn't have the same game modes. There will be more game modes in the future, but today we have 3 game modes especially that you can play with the league."

I agree with the fluid flow comment. I am noticing my online games are more fun, less frustrating, less sluggish, less aggrevating.
This is one area of the game that results will vary. After playing a some more PVP matches in efootball league, online is the same as it was before this update was released. You get some players who aren't total shitstains. They play fair, and the matches can be quite enjoyable. Then, you get the occasional lag cheater and voider who thinks it's cute to fuck with the connection and cost you a match. They haven't gone anywhere, and unfortunately, it doesn't get the attention it deserves from Coinami.

Okay so we can scrap the "offline modes coming this winter at the end of 2022" rumors

Fix the ball physics or add a lots of algorithms on it, damn. I feel the game seems nice balanced, even if PS4 gen, but the ball kills me.
Plus the menu, i can retrieve myself with all those shitty presentation to choose a player instead of another.

RED and Black everywhere for stats as there's not enough player who got 75.

Give me back my white/green/yellow/red (but for high stats) or the yellow to blue stats, i really liked it too.
If there were theme for stats + old presentation replacing that shit, i would pay for it no joke... But if i played that game, not the case as now i try every new update and it's still the same kicking-volley-football game.

It's exactly what mentionned @Chilleverest : the ball reaction seems to be always amortised without a, i don't know, too hard chest control or a knee that will push the ball further.
Frustrating to me, as i found the rest pretty playable and better than some older PES or Fifa. Ball physics was the strong point : but it seems it's an engine issue, a bit like when the FOX without Kojima was okay for the ball rythm, but not the variation. We had to wait PES 2017 to get a bit more variations, and 20-21 for having full accurate variations (with Kojima supporting the project, the variation issue would have been resolved on PES 2016)

So, from I what I hear, Master League will be a copy and paste job, lol. So much for innovation. Maybe we do deserve the game we are getting.

They focus on to perfect firstly their "3 modes" (what's the 2 others?) especially Dreamteam, servers and all those stuffs before aiming to sold more content.
It's absolutely the same as SFV, but at least the game was superb. But still, there was a biggg promo and i brought the game.

But as there wasn't any offline mode, not even Arcade (of course, too much demanding to create a story for at least the 10 characters available and not at all the best ones : but some half of the roster was with new players which you play to finish every character story... And about the real story mode, like MK and Tekken, it was out at launch.

So i didn't played it. And the game was out since longer than EF2022. Sorry for the big O.T. that evo-member won't care 😂 but it's linked and i need to express myself and comparing. SFV got the worst case + it was 69.99 at lauch, close to 100 euros for 4 more characters and no modes. I hope FIFA won't be brought by Capcom : it was a superb company like Konami and their tons of licences, on the top from 16/128 bits era...

Even if Tekken is a 3D gameplay fighting game : it's comparable in term of gameplay quality : it got nothing to envy to SFV. MK is a 2D, a bit rigid but it's for the sake of the game. No script or shit like that.
And both, especially MK with their character fitting totally with the game a bit 90's action/absurd with punchlines, they got REAL worked and re-worked players and DLCs, aswell for the patterns and gameplay changes with a new character + the big featuring and the lines, story mode for each others....

Well we got a SFV, but beta version in terms of gameplay and not really good. Free, okay, but everyone here would pay for a good game.
And i buy the two others in discount, for MK i just want the T-800, John Rambo and Robocop.

They asked a question about "yes or no Regens" on the survey. All people i know signed for no regens.
But it's ben a long long time... At least, they got that idea we ask since forever, once on an february 2021 survey.

Just a very simple PS2 ML with no regens and a training system like before, and i would be happy, no joke.
Well what i really want is that the percentage of what you did on the pitch is calculated and upgrade your player, or downgrade him.

There's wasn't a simplified system like that on PS2? Like for Attack increasing by goal scored or decisive passes for midfielders as an example...
Since PES2 i think.

HOLY HELL what a massive difference!! It's such a huge difference that online with DX12 is way smoother than offline without. Unbelievable that this needs a launch comand.

THANK You. Playing at 100% rendering, all on high, smooth 60. I still can't believe I needed to set this launch command.

You can also try the mod for bluring disable at the engine level. (Based on FileLoader by @juce and @nesa24)
Removed blur, bloom, chromatic abberation and vignete. Makes the game much more visual pleasant.
Just unrar to game folder.
Work fine for online.

Best joke i read today. I think its even worse than it was. Target locking at passes is more inaccurate than before and im playing almost on the highest assistance level while my passes are random as ever.

But putting Liam Gallagher on the OST was Konami's best move.

I'll give it a shot, but honestly I like the blur, bloom and vignette effects...

is there anything similiar for pes21?

Gave the latest version a bash and the target locking on short manual passes is still almost 100% broken. Please fix, Konami.

Otherwise, still feels very light weight, ball physics still isn't right, physicality is not right. It's ok as a casual mobile kickaround but this is still a long way short of where I'd once hoped football games would be by now. Even if they'd released this 10 years ago, I wouldn't have been blown away by it.

94th minute
Corner
My defenders r ignoring the game
Header at my keeper
My keeper punches it at the back of my defender
Rebound to my other players leg
Rebound to the opposition leg
Clear goal
94th minute winner 3-2
not annoying game anymore

And the dude played the presspresstacklepressrunpressrunpresss run 1 bit minded game. That pays off in this game still.

The game itself is not that disgusting in the way to play, and i don't see how it's a mobile game at all > if it is, then every PS4 PES are.

But the ball physics... Damn, it's the same rhythm all along. Pushing ball 100% even when shooting. Slow or slower passing. Same for shooting.

Can't play a Kicking Ball game with that Ball Physics engine, even if the rest is :"okay, it moves well, controls are good and players seems to position like they should (Seems)". When you don't have any feeling of kicking/tac-tac when you pass and shoots, but only feels like the ball is keeping always the same about all related to rhythm, acceleration/deceleration, rebound, quickness in general...

If they resolve that issue in the future perhaps i may give it a go. Butt for the moment there's in one part the animations, all related to players motions and some defending system, positioning seems okay to great / dribbling > R2 is great for example, defending just ok but still a bit weird... I didn't got big issues, not a fan about the "less physical/assisted" part but i could handle it... To me for a 11v11 games, assistance in defending is important. Should be easier in game to defend than attack > or less midfield battle.

And on the other side you got the most important thing in the game : the ball, which is reacting/acting too weirdly. Like a mix between a basket and volley-ball : the volley feeling when you tap with your hand is the same i got when i see kicking with the fucking big athletes legs and hard as iron.

This is where I'm at after a day of playing 2.0.0. seeing the changes.

It's a sad state of affairs for this game. Its being lost with greedy, shitty direction from the top, undermining the teams supposed direction of creating a realistic simulation of football.

While this gameplay is better than anything we have seen before, overall almost everything has improved, there is a much bigger emphasis on midfield and dribbling is back and better than ever, the gameplay is letdown with the passing physic for me as the ball seems to have lost momentum and sensitivity to button input, so most games offline or online are just weird despite the enhancements. I also feel defensive controls are still a little to easy and needs work on its consistency.

If I give just the gameplay alone a score out of 10 its literally 8/10 even right now. Technically its the best football game ever, a rough diamond that may start its peak in 6 months or so.

But despite how good the gameplay is I did not enjoy any of the offline or online matches yesterday, this game leaves a very bad taste in my mouth until we get some respect for offline play. Konami's strategy is absolutely dreadful. What's the point of all this realism if we cannot test it properly beyond 10 minutes and all objectives have no incentive to explore this realism. Its all about getting more players and points to buy or paying real money for more players to win online by any means necessary? Today I will complete all the new objectives then until ether next week or sometime in October THERE IS NOTHING TO DO ON THIS GAME! Just spend real money on Dream Team players (yawn)!

I played terrible football yesterday online, what saddened me the most was my lack of desire to play good football, i had a overwhelming sense of 'What's the point, I'll just get my win so i stock up points, training level ups etc.. then I'm done.

A golden opportunity wasted by Konami to get the offline community who help build their empire back on their side wasted and despite the gameplay enhancements we are stuck in the same malaise as usual. I enjoyed watching CPU vs CPU PES 2021 Championship League mode as I've not had too much time to sit and play with all the chaos in my house right now more than anything on efootball the last 3-4 weeks. Back after i get all the free points i will go to PES 2021 as it maybe inferior in gameplay bar all the ball physics, manual passing and shooting. At least there are things to do offline.

This football still lacks depth and variety of gameplay. You're right mate maybe in 6 months it will look better. But so far, in general, the gameplay of Pes 21 with mods still looks better.

Technically its the best football game ever

:LMAO:

When games released nearly 20 years ago still had vastly more variation in offensive actions then even thinking about uttering that sentence makes you look unhinged. One session of WE9LE would still yield more varied and interesting highlights than a whole month of this thing. Doesn't matter how many online games you watch, every goal is the same. Don't think I've seen a single long ranger fly in, it's just pass into the box and finesse at the right angle, rinse repeat. It is still a shell of a game, basically a tech demo that could be a reasonable foundation to work from, but right now even comparing it to the classic PES games is absurd on so many levels

A significant improvement in responsiveness when it comes to shooting (and passing, even online).

1.X, notice how the player jogs meaninglessly after the shot command went through:

2.0, Kroos gets over the ball and takes the shot before the block:

I also thought the 5-bar connections were fake first, but then I'm actually feeling a much smoother online game.

In 4 months of playing I've scored maybe 1-2 finesse shots. Yes, many assisted players will try to do just that. Seems nerfed in 2.0 so far. I've scored many long rangers though. Not sure what you're talking about tbh.

I just cant like a game where im loosing ALL the time to some obvious bullshit scripting/momentum while the opponent is probably a toddler who holds a controller for the first time in his hand but since he has legends my players become 1 rated and all the magnetic ball effect comes into play and the runpressrun tactic works perfectly for him.

FUMA shouldn't be a pre-requisite for varied and interesting gameplay. Also while your clips show more variation in types of goal than you typically see on assisted, they still mostly serve as a demonstration of how basic and unvaried the ball physics are.
