Thanks for explaining why you liked a misinforming comment, which yes, in fact, is something that needs to be explained. When someone makes a categorically FALSE statement, and you like it, then yes, it needs to be explained.Never, ever in my life I explained why I "liked" a post, but will do it now. There were two reasons.
First, is your glorification of "match-up" mechanics, which I strongly disagree. In this state I find it almost broken.
It requires you to press it because players will just ignore the ball if you don't. But reaction when you press it is not good.
Defenders are over reacting on fake shots and skills, regardless of context, you don't see it IRL. The reason is that kids who bought premium Messi and Neymar could feel good with their skills and fake shots. Also, ball going through players legs randomly (or maybe it is on purpose) regardless of user input.
It's a cheap way to differentiate players stats and I don't like it.
For me, what made pes great, was the perfect balance between user input and players stats, and I think with this version of efootball this balance has been violated. Significance of user input has never been this low. And all because one purpose. To spend money. So when you lose, you don't think: I could play better or could done something different. You think, I need better players. And "match-up" mechanics is PERFECT TOOL for this.
Now, my English is not great and I'm not a youtuber/content creator or whatever, so no fancy videos, but I think I explained my point so you can understand it.
Second reason why I liked his comment, there is a feeling, I might be wrong, that you think you opinion matters more than others just because you are a youtuber/content creator and I disagree. Like I said, I could be wrong with this one.
I didn't 'glorify' anything. Mentioning that a mechanism exists in a game, and that it doesn't exist in another game, is not a 'glorification' of this mechanism. I'm thankful that now at least we have a method to intercept balls, and it's intentional, and changes how you pass and how you defend in a way that rewards players who think about interceptions. It just adds a degree of control that we didn't have before. None of this is my opinion, this is a fact of eFootball vs PES. When someone says that what I just wrote is 'flat out wrong', and you like it, then yes, an explanation of why you liked a misinforming post is due.
And no it's not perfect. It's year 1 of this new mechanism. The exaggerated reaction to fakes happens when you do it on the stronger foot. That's a nice touch that actually happens in real life. It needs to be better optimized, no doubt.
Yes, I have a YouTube channel. If that warrants an automatic 'dislike' from you regardless of what I'm saying, and an automatic 'like' to anyone else who contradicts what I wrote, even if this person is misinforming others, then I'm not the person in the wrong here, am I?
