I feel like you bro, I see a lot of similarities between fifa 22 and efootball, its like they have quit simulation forever to have an online arcade game and thats make me so sad... well thats football gaming nowadaysI still play 2021 every now and then, I've tried Efootball but didn't like it.. floaty players and weird passes/shooting trajectories. I thought this was still in development but it seems it is what we have now for PES.
Yesterday downloaded FIFA 22 (it's free on Ps plus for May). I was thinking the last time I owned or has a fifa game was probably fifa 2001.. I tried a match and training mode and it feels so similar to Efootball that it saddened me that is so clear that Konami finally took that route and do not care about the core player base.
I guess it's all about online fantasy games with Gullit Puyol and birthday edition Cristiano Ronaldo, people playing mechanically and paying some extra money to have the same supermega stars as everyone else.
Football gaming is dead.
Oh and that new game UFL or whatever it's called, it's laughable. Just like fifa and Efootball but worse somehow.
I guess I'll have to stick to pes2021
If the gameplay code had changed, you'd have to download an update. Changing it on the server wouldn't be enough - it's more likely that people are upgrading certain attributes in the training section to get that effect. Or you're just coming up against a lot more megastars now.Im pretty sure Konami nerfed the fouls or some people started cheating somehow lately. I see a LOT of wrestling in the past two days. Just opponents smashing my players in the back no matter if i use the cover, they just bulldozer through my players and thats it. No matter what player it is Beckenbauer or default Likinho. Havent seen this in the 150 hours of playtime.
8 hours sleep doesnt help either in the past two days.If the gameplay code had changed, you'd have to download an update. The collisions are fairly awful and make a mockery of the game, it can quickly become a Sunday league scramble where about 8 players are all around the ball kicking and pushing each other which has rolled to a stop in a big patch of mud leaving you hammering L1 or the right stuck to try and get the correct player selected and frantically trying to get the ball clear or passed or shot.
As I mentioned before I believe the L2 match up defending basically means you get a free pass to assault the opposition and it's definitely weighted towards players with better 'condition' in terms of being able to win battles and get away without conceding free kicks.
I played some more games earlier (yes I know I said I was done) and twice I played against people who had a novel way of playing which is simply when in defence, not engage with the player with the ball until they reach the area and then L2 match up to steal the ball and counter attack. They know that they have a better chance of defending in numbers at the back and using the match up function than attempt to defend from the front or Intercept. Weird
This is possible because, despite what a lot of people say, the game doesn't promote "manual defending". It's as automated as it's ever been: you can leave your team shape intact, at most focusing on bringing back midfielders into position, and then when things get tight on the approach, just hold L2 as you near a player, and the tackle is automatic. Your AI also makes tackles without any command input.I played some more games earlier (yes I know I said I was done) and twice I played against people who had a novel way of playing which is simply when in defence, not engage with the player with the ball until they reach the area and then L2 match up to steal the ball and counter attack. @Mazen2020 has shared some tips on this topic, there is even a 30 min video (it’s in German but still very useful). I’ve been using his technique for few games now and it has worked just fine for me!Iam a veteran pro player and still iam having troubles to proceed to the highest divisions
Please share with me some of your pros tips to improve my game (:
Same here. This game doesn't have much going for it in terms of tactics. Teams with mega stars don't have to play tactically. It's all about acquiring Maradona or Romario and dribbling their way past a group of defenders who switch off from time to time because Coinami coulnd't be bothered to improve the AI on the defensive side of the pitch. Where's the fun in that? The fun factor isn't there even if you do buy a bunch of players using Coinami's pay-to-win slot machine. It's boring as fuck. It's no longer game about skills and tactics but how much money you can spend. And get ready for more of those Youtube thumbnails of content creators having their mouths wide open while a football legend is pictured next to them. They're all salivating at the sight Romario's calves as they're opening packs.I still play 2021 every now and then, I've tried Efootball but didn't like it.. floaty players and weird passes/shooting trajectories. fifa 16 was the last decent fifa game imo. Rest were pretty hit or miss and especially fifa 22, given how the players look completely floaty on that one due to new animation system.I still play 2021 every now and then, I've tried Efootball but didn't like it.. floaty players and weird passes/shooting trajectories. Do you think about stats in ef2022?
Do they matter?
For example speed, agility, dribbling etc.
ef2022 is probably the first (playable) game which represents inertia/momentum the best possible way.
To my opinion, the pace and the whole feel approaches very realistically the real sport.
After playing almost 80hours of ef2022, trying PES 21 and 19 felt like "games" not sims. Less randomness, less ball freedom, player movement was not that natural, a lot of repetition in scenarios.
Ronaldinho and Maradona this week locked behind a paywall will probably make them more money than the past 2 previous pes games. Ironically the better the players are makes a huge difference, which is something weve been asking for where stats count but also improves the pay to win factor greatly.Lets be honest abit ..... beside some problems of this still beta ver , the state of this game atm is pure pay to win with some smart moves from KONAMI ...
i give them that !! maybe the only smart think they made till now.
Is becoming a fifa and people does not want to realize it, also I have seen a lot of fifa streamers playing eshit now and liking itJust checked out a random Div 1 Twitch stream, should be some nice tight matches among high skilled players.

Yep, definitely the most realistic game ever

Yeah. The best matches online are the J League and American League challenges where as long as they arent on Level 1 passing you come up against a wide variety of amazing, good, average and shit players and anything and everything happens. The game really can shine at times.Real fun to play with less good teams, j-League and The two american Leagues.
Lovley pace and more fun.
My dreamteam filled with speedy superstars (played a lot in v. 091 and got free players} =Not much fun at all.
But the online works better than any previous version of pes.
Sure i meet people that humiliate me.
But at least 7/10 matches are really fun. to play
One more game is a nice feeling that have been missed for me for a long time
