eFootball (All Platforms)

Game still stutters with i5-12600K, 3060Ti @3440x1440 (with black bars on both sides). Tried with -d2d12, tried with vert. sync on/off. Still stuttering, especially when the ball/the action is in the upper side of the screen.

so this sad thing of a company after releasing practically a half finished demo of a mobile game has the audacity to threaten pc users and the moding community..the same community that kept the franchise alive all this years to the point that today they can have their e shitball 22 and milk their "customers" i never was and i will never be one those customers.their online "experience" was and will always be a piece of trash.they practically shetted on the faithfull for years PES community and that community me included should sheet on them too.i m pleading to all the skilled and talented modders/programmers in here and everywhere around the world to mod the hell out of eshitball and show konami how you make a proper game

[ATTENTION SARCASM incoming]

Oh please, please Konami do not ban me I love eFootball so much. The graphics, the gameplay. And much content for your loved offline players. Well it's all absolutley oustanding. Here take my money and I shut up.

[end of this sarcasm]
Oh and befor I forget to say to you Konami: 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

🖕

I wish in the events they would write before hand what the event is. So that players don't choose always the same team. For example the France event has just play matches. No winning conditions or so. There is no need to pick PSG then but you only see the conditions of the event after having picked the team. -.-

There could be so nice online matches in these "play matches" events if people knew the conditions before picking the team.

Never heard that one before. Multiple streamers "switching over" at the same time probably means they are being paid

They are not really switching over, they are tired of FUT 22 and trying the new toy. The moment they realize the lack of content they will go back to Fifa.

What if this is really their plan !
Actually, I read something about that on twitter a week ago. Some watered down version of ML strictly for online because I don't think a true ML with transfers, cup competitions, injuries, fatigue, all the other stuff can be done properly online. It's strictly for singleplayers.

Seems like instead of releasing the game and then a free myclub version its just the other way round :LMAO:

Took a day to sink in, but still bummed about the whole ''if you tamper with anything we might ban you'' threat by Konami
I'll still be using the FPS unlocker as that is a huge quality of life improvement, and then we will see what they do or recognise or falsely recognise

well if they won't allow moders to change thinks, it could be an online ML

#eFootball About the images we attach: We have been informed on the subject and it seems that the message is aimed especially at people who modified the game to level up easily, and without winning matches, and then play online with those players to the fullest ... 1/2

... this means that everyone who uses offline mods should not happen to them absolutely nothing, on the other hand, if you modify the game and then play online... you can be banned.

Classic konami if true.

It's similar with GTA online. They have rules against modding for similar reasons. I can understand that because some players do in fact cheat, but that's why they have singleplayer where you can mod the entirety of the game to look vastly different from the original. Perhaps they'll allow option files to make cosmetic change to the kits, etc but who knows. Typically, online games strictly oppose modding of any kind because there are things that can go wrong online for players that you can away with offline.

The difference is all the previous PES titles had some good offline modes that you mod and enhance your enjoyment whereas this game has nothing for offline players but 5 minute exhibition matches with 9 licensed teams. There is nothing to play for in an exhibition match. Of course Coinami doesn't care whether ppl mod exhibition matches because it's a worthless mode. Even the Ai league matches becomes a chore because you're only playing for GP and nothing else. I don't know if playing against the AI in Dream team count as an online mode. Maybe... Afterall, you are using the same squad for that mode as you do for pvp matches.

You can actually check the event details before choosing a team.

Getting more and more disappointed with this game.

Something odd is happening with this game, having two different type of games, "normal" ones, playable with all positives and negatives, and "weird" ones when nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing is working.

Things I don't like:

-over assisted pinball passing - sometimes it is impossible to defend against. Passes on level 1 seems faster then level 3, they should be more precise but not faster. There are even patterns of passes you can't defend ( for example: pass to CF, first touch return to MF, first touch pass on side, first touch pass to CF again, and it is a goal).
-defenders run on players with ball and take possession, to hard to hold on to ball, it's unnatural, fouls not called
-trough pass random on level 3, short tap ball goes far and vice versa, this should not happen at least on level 3 pass.
-random bad first touch when receiving the ball (this one I hate the most). For 20+ years of playing pes it always felt natural to receive a ball, let go dash button, left stick in wanted direction. It was logical, simple and it worked. Now I get random bad first touch, even direction can be incorrect.

In addition to this there are problems with this "weird" games I mentioned:

-players become slower, bad first touch, it takes ages to receive the ball, long time to pass (execution and ball speed) and while that is happening it seems that receiving player starts to hide behind opponent for a sure interception (I know it sounds weird), defenders stop for a second, don't react, forward stop to receive the ball instead of just running with it, weird match-up player behavior and much more. I don't know is this caused by lag or scripting or something else. I was getting more of these games as I progressed to higher divisions. While it was challenging at first to fight all this and win, I'm not enjoying it anymore.

Now, that said, I played french league tonight with olympique marseille, and had a "normal" game and must say quite enjoyable. After that, one more and another, played 9 games and all of them were good (won 5, lost 3, 1 draw mostly against psg). This is a part I don't understand. Why is Marseille feels better to play with than my respectable 2500 dream team? Players are faster, ball receiving better, I can even pass around my half and keep a ball. Is is a lag? It would be weird that after couple bad games in dream team (most of them are bad) I had 9 good games in french league. Maybe opponents are less strong so its easier for me to play? But I can clearly see a difference in my players behavior. Is it scripting? But shouldn't my team be bad because I play against psg. I would like to know your opinion about this, it's just something I really don't understand.

So im in DIV3 already and my first team is pretty much ready, although DIV1 might take a week or two.
However with no additional offline or online modes in sight now i bought a bunch of 16yrs old players as a second team to develop theme here and there as a personal objective. They can compete vs the AI, in events and remaining league matches. Lets see which kid got potential.

The message regarding modding the PC can lead to a ban leaves a bad, bad taste in my mouth, although i think as someone mentioned its realted to people wanting to cheat and get more points to level up than they should have.

All in all, Konami when will we actually get offline content?

When will edit mode every release?

I don't think just online will keep me on this game for the next few months or so. Some more communication will help.

I too sometimes felt the "weird" gameplay that you mentioned but on later stage of the match - started somewhere around 70th min. Felt like scripting kicked in. It didnt happen in every match though.

My suggestion is for you to turn on the stamina bar above the players and watch the scoreline when the "weird" gameplay happen. Then you can narrow down the cause-scripting, handicap, stamina or placebo

there's also this guy whos been at every single comment section shilling for konami, well he's entitled to his opinion i guess, but i want to break his knees so bad
"version 0.9.1 was amazing"

Amazing!

0.9.1 was Shit with a capital S.

It was a 'proof of concept' Alpha build which should of never have been seen outside of Konami offices but the incompetence and failure in their plan resulted in the embarrassment Konami are still a long way off recovering from.

That's the issue mate.
Everyone said coinami but there's not a single thing to paid, DLC or whatever at the launch lol.
Until there won't be anything to buy like a basic F2P game, it's hard to consider it as some stealer etc.

... But i'm very curious about the price of all those stuffs. I already see people with teams full of superstars, like there's no need to put a penny on DreamTeam. Well packs are forbidden where i leave. Better for the kids around.

DLCs is different. And it's kinda normal to make it paid if the game is free... Even if i hate the process and 1000% would like a full game for 50-60 euros.
I hope we won't said "like the good old time" too soon.
There's still fortunately games that doesn't really fits with F2P.
Elden Ring, and the future Black Myth : Wukong for example.

But i'm really afraid about sports games and fighting games future like i said before.
Esports Boxing Club : there's no date, it's like it's been 4 years i'm waiting for it, and the game seems playable from vids, i don't get it. AO Tennis future, if they release a "3" on Next-Gen perhaps will learn aswell as the first Top Spin wasn't upper great. I don't even know if they intend to continue..

Man, those classics type of sports game seems lost forever + that amount of F2P coming for all versus games, why FFS, why ? :(

Who didn't enjoy a career in Fight Night or Top Spin starting low and going to the top ? Won a UCL in ML or a League, a Cup?
Things that gives the satisfaction of having kinda "finished" the game, without frustration due to cunt online like we said before ?

I wouldn't care that much about the format if online wasn't that much put behind or on the trash. They will for PES it's pretty sure, as it cost nothing to them lol.
But whatever, the game, i repeat, is playable yes, not bad to me (not upper good neither) but still under beta, too much thing missing from tactics to AI to some other stuffs.

Edit: you didn't even got to play to see that 0.9.1 was bad. Just looking at vids and i disliked instantly. Completely different feeling when i saw 1.0.0 vid.
What i saw was pretty good in motion and players didn't looked lost like dummies on the pitch.
Now controller in hands, like i said there a bit too much missing stuffs + the shooting ball physics for me to considers it as a finished game. Playable and finished is different.

Why is it so difficult to defend immediately after scoring online?. I'm not talking about the kick off goals as such but more the amount of times I concede to the opposition just walking through my entire team within a few seconds of the restart?

It's like to they've been handicapped for small amount of time. Really frustrating
according to janguv its your fault

You can thank companies like EA for opening the flood gates for the eSports genre in sports gaming. You can also thank pro players and FUT fetish streamers for encouraging this cash cow business model of microtransactions fueled pay to win games.

YouTubers will probably raise a stink about this modding issue, but eventually they'll fall in line like good little soliders, like they always do. You know it's bad when IGN who shills for the likes of EA and others is more upfront with this half assed game and it's pay to win system than some of these PES YouTubers.

Come June, there'll still be no offline content, but plenty more dream team leagues. 🤣

What can I say? I just had one of the best games yet. Rocking my arsenal past n present with (only vela from the past), I have been beating teams full of Beckham left and right (online mind you plus I never touched previous online pes and zero money spent).

Someone said this game reminded them of the old 8 direction pes games, it truly does feel that way, only difference it’s much more believable. Skinning these restless online players with average arsenal players is so satisfying, the little hop, sidesteps after beating their pressing man, it’s such a joy.
I thought I was upgrading lacazette by bringing special card vela, but he is so one footed, he keeps missing his chances despite his superb movement (weak foot frequency stat).

Another overlooked aspect that is brought back from ps2 pes, patience. Every opponent I have seen is fifa like press press and counter team. If you Keep the ball, pass around, pinging long balls (which is also so satisfying), not only it’s satisfying to see their patience thin, it leads to amazing passage of play and subsequently, goals.

Arteta is a superb possession coach. You don’t even need speed to beat opponents. Up the dribble stats of Key players and you just breeze past these stacked teams. Never has dribbling been this important and satisfying, not since ps2 era anyway. Even frigging elneny was running the show in my midfield while xhaka did most of the aggressive tackles. Now, only if they could bring back the nets.
