eFootball (All Platforms)

I must say, it feels like PES game --- bad one, but still PES game.

Movement and short passes are way better than FIFA --- but shooting mechanics is not there yet, and please put some real nets on those goals :(
 
Guys this game is actually legit good. Gameplay maybe the best it's been. The dream team even has an interesting training mechanic. Fair play Konami. Just add content
 
I quite like the gameplay now. Still a bit hanky in places but feel quite rewarding.

There is no depth to this game yet so it's not something I'll play much of at all.

Dream team mode doesn't.make any sense with such big holes in licensing.

Good example, I want my team to be managed by Pep Guardiola. Is he available? Nope. I would have to use Luis A. Roman. What's the point?

As for signing players? They are all available but just have a fixed cost associated to them? No market place, no trading? Nothing. Just click to add to your team...

To be fair it's more like mlo which I preferred to myclub
 
Not blown away but a definite improvement. I played one last offline game on the old version about 45 minutes before 1.0 dropped so I had a close comparison. Much has improved but there's still a lot to get right. I think this is equivalent to a beta/gold demo for a game but still a way off from being a full-blown title as such because 5 minute games and a handful of teams is a demo however you look at it.
 
Disagree. It's clearly better individuality is actually there. Defending is good. Dribbling has alot of options.

Although there's already a big problem with dream team. You can't search by strength
 
Absolutely blows my mind that we're so desperate for PES to come back, we say things like "it's not a good game but I'll play it" and offer Konami our congratulations for achieving that.

The bar is the lowest it's ever been and as a community, we give them a pass - which confirms my long-held belief that so much about PES is tribalism and not quality. They could release a broken mess (and have) and as a community, we'll say "you can see the potential".

I've even seen "the king is back" on Twitter... I mean... Where can I get those wonderful drugs from, please?

This is not a good game, and that acceptance echoes around here like a fart in a cave. Yet we're all telling ourselves it's the best cave around, because Steve just put a daffodil on one of the rocks. We must not leave the cave.

(I aim this at myself as much as anyone, by the way. I play a different version of PES/FIFA every day, trying to find one I can stick with for the long haul, instead of giving in and getting a new hobby.)

:LOL: Where are you at now in the search for a solid football game? PES 2021? FIFA 14? PES 5? FIFA 11?
 
Played some time in training mode and a couple of matches. It's a working version of eFootball. I don't really have anything good to say about it.
I guess it works now.

Nothing about it is pushing technology, nothing about it feels like a current-gen football game, nothing about it feels like football. The biggest takeaway is that it suffers from the same issues that every PES game has suffered since moving to the PS3 generation, it doesn't feel rewarding to play and it doesn't feel cutting-edge, at all. I have not celebrated goals in PES since PES 6, I have not been impressed by a PES game on its technical merits since PES 6.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs.
 
i started downloading this again after reading about the improvements, luckily my internet is so slow because about 15% in i came to my sense and realised why am i giving this company who ripped the heart and soul out of the best football series ever made another chance after they completely insulted us with the efootball release. i am not having it that the game is now suddenly brilliant when you can't even play more than 5 minutes offline in exhibition mode and have minimal teams to choose from. it's a joke and more fool you all for subscribing to it

Update is as expected, reaching PES 2020 demo levels now, i'd like to see the PC modders with stadium list and team list (see what licences they lost in the mean time or rather what the j-league etc licences are replacing), and finally, what is the point of "dream team" if you cant edit their kits and everything else in 1.0.0 ??
It reminds of MLO fro PES 2011-2013 apparently, but no point if you play in some generic kits lol.

You can use the training mode to judge the gameplay and technology of the game. It runs indefinitely.

It's not any good, in my opinion.

I don't think its an official stadium. It looks like a Fantasy stadium for the player opening animation
