OMG this game is such a fuck.

Can't run the game at 4k at all using DSR. Even if my desktop resolution is set to 3840x2160, the game switches back to 1920x1080, fucking hell. Are devs this much incompetent?

Here’s an idea. Stop playing. If a video game of all things in life are making you angry, perhaps you should take a step back and go outside.

there is more to life. I understand football gaming is a passion for us, and I have hope for the future of this game. I just don’t let it run my life.

Play an older PES game in the meantime while they figure this game out, mod it, enjoy it. Or go play a FIFA trial.

Thanks for the advice, will try older pes and fifa games, but definitely not fifa 22. Pc didnt get next gen port so thats an instant no from me.

At least this is what I see on online games of pés 2021, and I dont see people being able to do that on this game. The result is I. Winning way more while playing all manual.

Couldn’t agree more,this is light years ahead of Pes21..

The way the ball behaves in relation to the player and how well and freely it’s animated.All the touches you can take on the ball and how much subtlety there is in passing.The freedom of control with the RB button and right trigger and the way the animations seamessly blend together.The game just looks so real and play’s like it.

The ball itself and the way it behaves is as revolutionary as the first PES.The AI and pacing is the best it’s been in a pes game in the modern era.

I think this is a megaton.Runs really well on the series X too.

People think we’re deluded.They just don’t know what’s so good about this game because they’ve never had it before.You have to practise,and spend a bit of time with this game to really appreciate it.

Guess what..I’m getting loads of fouls called and free kicks!!!.Got the rare achievement last night for a 25 yard free kick.

It’s weird how smooth the game is for me now and instinctive..At first it was just clunky and fragmented.

For the people complaining about framerates, it appears Konami has deliberately limited the game to 60 ingame and 30 for cutscenes. A good hint of this is that you can no longer make this change in the settings program or anywhere ingame.

As usual, Konami has assigned certain animations and messed up the speed and placement of your passes to tell you that you've mis-timed your button presses. Then again, how else would you uncover the way they actually want you to play the game.

It's a bit like that thing where a person will see their partner flirting with others and all the warning signs are there, they're getting treated like shit really, but they come up with all manner of excuses to maintain that illusion that it's not as bad as it seems. Because the thought of being alone is just too painful.

Summed up my thoughts on PES and unfortunately my best friend whose wife has cheated on him...and their 4 kids recently. Funnily enough we’ve played PES for the last 20 plus years together

I think they (myself included) find your praise a bit lacking in nuance. It is hard to take your praise seriously when you say things like "totally adheres to the laws of physics", "very polished", and now:

Again, there's a difference between claims about our own experiences and enjoyment on the one hand, and observable features on the other. So when you claim that the AI is better than any other modern PES, that's something we can all reference against the AI in other modern PES games. 2017 is far better than this dumb AI that slavishly runs back to position, etc.

Why make such bold claims that we can actually check and find to be false?

If they've fixed the game to a decent standard in a few months, it won't show that you're right, presently, that the current build we're playing is itself polished, physics-following, revolutionary, and has the best AI for 6 years or more. What would it prove?

Feel kinda sorry for the devs at Konami who do actually care. This mess is on management in the same way that Cyberpunk was. In that case though the management at least took responsibility to take the heat off a little. Can't see that happening here

I see your point. I think pes 19, 20 (except the demo and vanilla, but even then...), and 21 were the most boring, limited, archaic football games I've played. I barely got through 10-15 matches, except pes 20 vanilla, but even then fifa 20's broken, psychotic freedom did for that game around November.

I quite like efootball. But I cant imagine, except for the obvious marketeers who I pay no attention to anyway, thinking that those who liked those 3 pes games were doing so because were trying to preserve their identity. I imagine a small number of them were, perhaps. However, for the majority, I just assumed they had different tolerance levels for things I found unacceptable.

The bugs dont trouble me, however silly they look and make me laugh. What is unacceptable about efootball is the unresponsiveness of the players when trying to execute quick, intuitive or impulsive moves. As much as I enjoy it, having played around 4 hours of it since launch, that simply cannot continue. It will eventually create a kind of malaise when playing because you simply dont feel in control, you feel locked out of events. You're a passenger, which is the opposite of gaming.

My concern is that however much they can improve graphics and ball physics and physics of players, that the thing I like (smooth animations, inertia, freedom of movement, tactitility of sprinting) will actually need to be sacrificed to make the game responsive. I have to say, whilst I think the game wouldnt need to travel very far FOR ME to like it, I'm not convinced it will go far enough for the majority to like it, without turning it into pes 21.

I can see myself never really playing efootball and just maintaing this demo in a gaming vacuum, enjoying its charms but never really feeling involved enough to play long term.

there is no doubt that the move to UE4 and take that decision to go GaaS will be the right one in the next couple of months maybe.

but how the hell can they deliver such a mess on 30. sept ??? to be 1 day before €A Game ?? at This point they had to deliver DP8 for PES2021 and
take that release to December or January 2022 or on that point where EFootball was not the shitfest of the whole gaming industry....

don't know who force to release that game in this broken mess 0.9.0 Version shit, but that is one of Konami's decisions we shake our heads like the last YEARS!!!

No thats your opinion, it is not fact. Completely and utter horse though all the same. Your point about ball physics falls over immediately as a ball DOES NOT MOVE LIKE THAT IN ANY WAY IN REAL LIFE. Go down the park and kick a ball for a bit and find out.
 
So, were edit mode and national teams part of their published timeline, or do we not actually have an ETA for either?

(though, I suppose that with the disastrous launch, there's no way they will meet their earlier self-imposed deadlines)

I disagree completely.Take a closer look.Also really study the animation system and the way the players interact with the ball.The way the RB mechanic allows you to freely move off the ball.You can also contest loose ball nows.The variation in passing,both short and long.Trapping and how you can move on the ball with the RT trigger.Manual passing and shooting is intuitive and so well realised.

The ball doesn’t automatically stick to players and it bounces off heels and parts of the players bodies.

Been kicking around this industry for years now and a lot of things in this game are pretty revolutionary.It just hasn’t been done.

Yes it’s my opinion,but everything above is there and clear to see.I genuinely think UNREAL is going to be the difference.There’s a real level of genius at work with this game.
