eFootball (All Platforms)

No matter what, I like eFootball 2022.
Cheers!
Can't stand the game myself but I am sure you are going to do amazing turfs for it and once again teach Konami a lesson on how to do them properly, that is certain ;)

tried that online thing, and if there was a disadvantage between manual and assited before, it is massive now. Every action I took seemed to take twice or thrice the time the other guy needed. I got absolutely slaughtered. And he was using, you guessed it, PSG.

Think I have had enough of this, time to sit tight and wait for the other game.

Thoroughly enjoying this now with the demo expander on PC. I don't remember ever being more at odds with the general view on here or around the PES-themed web. I'm gobsmacked that it's as poor a reception as it is. I think perfectly reasonable technical and immersion-breaking reasons are dominant, but a massive reason will be that you just can't pick it up and play it like any previous edition. You have to learn new controls and new approaches. E.g. one of my favourite scoring methods in PES2021 -- finesse from the outside corner of the box into the opposite corner -- doesn't work in eFootball, but I'm still automatically trying it all the time. How many of those familiar PES moves are we all trying automatically all the time? And when they don't come off... There are huge differences. Currently watching a streamer complaining that it's all too slow and considered and he can't do one-touch passing through the opposition as he's used to. I have a feeling he wishes he could 'pack' Messi and get it over with.
You are gobsmacked really? I could say your expectations are beneath ground level. Itโ€™s truly appalling.

If the gameplay was the same as 2021 then it wouldn't be bad. The graphics are better in some areas but I can't even play it at native res at 144fps on my PC yet lmao.

You're essentially denying people the right to dislike the gameplay on its own terms. They have to either be playing the game wrong, unwilling to accept change, focusing on unimportant matters like immersion or just wanting to score cheap and easy goals. What about The_Knight, who was one of the biggest proponents of the new mechanics and one of the most outspoken optimists in the build up, and yet even he thinks it's irredeemably bad. Spoony Pizzas, one of the most prominent content creators ended his stream by literally telling people to cancel their pre-orders. Hell, even the "ePositionalPlay" guy thinks it's pants. And it's not just the PES online community, it's the worst rated game on Steam ever, with probably less than 5% giving it a favorable review if you take into account the positive meme reviews. Is it possible that you just have very niche preferences combined with a super human ability to suspend disbelief? I'm frankly gobsmacked that you are gobsmacked that it's received a bad reception, it reminds me of people who go into a modern art museum and think a brown paper bag stuck to a wall is the most profound thing they've ever seen and everyone else is an idiot for not understanding it. I mean people post a GIF of something being different from PES 2021 with a sense of amazement, it's been 2 years in development for crying out loud, you'd expect something to have changed. And the reality is most of the most visible differences are bugged beyond belief, and most of the things that are the same are the things that were mediocre like shooting and superman diving goalkeepers. It's like some hideous amalgamation of PES 2021 and PES Mobile, with possibly one or two positives if you are willing to sift through shit for long enough.

I also love the new game. Everything I hated on PES21, they fixed. Ping-pong passes gone, dribbling is back, defending takes skill, no more scripting.
Graphics are bad and sometimes there are some weird animation glitches, but these can easily be fixed.
Gameplay is top. I win every game with 5+ goals in multiplayer because skill actually wins you games. In most games the opponent doesn't get a single shot on my goal.

Just don't play it like PES21 and have an open mind.

Waffleโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ..You are in the 8% of the 4k steam viewsโ€ฆ..the overwhelming minorityโ€ฆโ€ฆitโ€™s utterly broken

That burried 1.5 feet under referee is i think the winner about the most hilarious 2 pics from here ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Well they've got a lot of work about collisions detections to make it right, well i don't think it's that hard to be honest...
But more the distortion on players corpses to get them right i think. I don't know if that thing needs a total revamp to make it right.
Also, i don't understand how the faces could get totally cartooned, probably a super duper stuff to make facial expression, who isn't working at all (just bring back the old system and it's resolved, until it's fixed)

adam? is that you? :))

No problem, I'm here too. I'm with the 4chan Cup people, we regularly mod PES's menu flow to skip all the Live Update faff trying to connect to a server, since we don't need it for our custom stuff. It's nice to see that the menu flow is still the same json in clear text, there's provisions for master league and cup mode as well. There's also a pesdb CPK like the old days, as well as a dt18-like CPK. The game's a mess, but it's set up for some modding at least.

Animations only from what i saw, seems different and some a bit more realistic, but that's not visible between all the others issues.
I think the gameplay "system" isn't bad : even if keeping the old but only switching R1 to R2 was ENOUGH to totally change the game in terms of running and dribbling.

But all the rest, AI, glitches, very weird stuff happening on every case, except like said 3 or 4 like @Sami 1999 and me included got some heavy and more logic about physics when you turn, change position after a run (which block you a small time before switching to the other positions) is what i always wanted since PES 2014. About ball power that's something i need to test : but i decided to not download it if it's not playable.

ATM the game is atrocious. I'll check some months later, when the game will pass to Pre-Alpha to Vanilla, if it's possible... Or, goodbye.
But a goodbye with a straight right punch.

As i told all of your here before release , this game is a joke .

no matter what the will update in the game , the core is mobile and that's it.

Pes is dead , fifa is fifa , an there other games want to be efootball esport .

Our only hope is one of the new games will be good and maybe they will do something for offline , but I wouldn't count on it ...

This game is abomination of football game .

Settings.exe is only for configuring dinput controllers. XInput ones are plug and play.
So we can't play Keyboard vs Gamepad like in PES 2021? :(

Didnt know you are here too! :APPLAUD:
Is there a way to remove the Framerate cap for you, or can only Konami change this?
