eFootball (All Platforms)

It's a shame this game is borderline unplayable because I actually like the new defending & dribbling mechanics.

If only they'd been implemented in to a fully functional next-gen PES iteration instead of this Frankenstein mobile game.

sorry but JUST shaw it
have any one check about the stats?????????????
exp SANCHO last year speed 95 acc 98 this year speed 82 acc 86 and all all all players the stats are a mesh DE GEA reflex 83?!?!?!!?!?!? WT BIGGG FFF?!!?!?!?!?!?

I wonder will Konami keep sugar coating this, or just be real with the fans, admit it’s shit but it’s being worked on…you can’t be so delusional to ignore the overwhelming negative press it’s getting and reframe it otherwise just to present a front and keep to a certain narrative to fans…has gone too far at this stage

just heard... no Platinum trophy on PS?! takes about 5 matches to complete 100% in trophies?!

why am i still here in this thread?! :)

Edit: trophy dlc incoming?! 4,99 a platinum?! :D

You like that you can press L2 and the defender acts like a homing missile to the ball?

This is nice:
And it perfectly solves the problem which is starting to plague modern day football more and more - referees which are always in the way of ball and players. Some prominent EPL whistlers come to mind :P ... and people have the audacity to say that Konami does not innovate!!

If only this creative solution could apply to real life :LMAO:

Quick!!! Shoot him in the head!!!

Ok then if its unfinished and given its state very unlikely to be any better in November why are they charging £32 for pre ordering packs for an unfinished product. This simply should not be allowed

That's a different point isnt it? The morality of charging for an unfinished game and whether it has potential for being any good are two separate issues.

I agree with you by the way.

This is PES2014 all over again, and I don't mean that as a swipe at Konami or the team behind this game, but at US.

Set all bugs aside. Twisty arms and floaty UI elements are obviously not a feature meant to be appraised as part of the game. That (the game) is what's interesting me. At 2am last night I thought 'wow, we were all wrong, there is going to be so much love for this direction...' Er.

This eFootball Beta shows us a game with slow, ponderous, sometimes cumbersome animations and ball movements. And that's what I want. I want to have to relearn how to play a football game. If this was the final gameplay, if they cleaned up the bugs I'd be happy as the famous Larry.

One detail I love. It is very common to run the ball out of play because you assume you can squeeze sprint without consequence. Nobody here would say 'arcadey' about this game. It's mainly chortling about Alpha-like bugs and glitches.

Oh, and there are fouls. Fouls everywhere. Every match so far has finished with an abundance of them. I know that many of the fouls are PES2014-style 'momentum fouls' (similar to the PES2020 fouls that also got howled down by the community that claims to want fouls... just not those fouls).

Yes, the clearly unfinished state of the package overall is shocking. But what else is shocking is the gleeful meme-like reaction to the gameplay. If you want and expect an arcade game with instant 1:1 corntrol, this isn't it. Hold on a few months, though, and I suspect you'll get your wish.

NB: game played on Series S, Level 3 passing, Custom Stadium. Apart from occasional choppiness at Old Trafford, the graphics are great for me. I'm also a PC player and haven't tried that yet (I'm braced for a familiar PC Day 1 mess; if there's technical shit happening, we tend to get the shittiest end of the stick on that platform). There's a PC modder called Holland who specialises in slow, physical gameplay mods, and insists on playing at -2 speed. I'm interested to hear what he has to think of eFootball.

Thank God for your post.

Game seems to be aiming to realism again with some of its radical.changes and New concepts. Its Just a bug fest messes up game, but the arrow is pointing to the right direction.

Thank God you cant pressure abuse, thank god You can easily miss a tackle, being dribbled or concede fouls.

Oh there are actually fouls? How dare Konami make me miss tackles and give free fouls for the opponent? We at the Arcade Lovers Community can NOT tolerante that. We dont want to think about putting players into position, read play and intercept ball, we Just want pressure abuse and easy Win the ball effortlessly.

How anyone can see hope in this, I don't know. Fuck the graphical glitches - the AI is no glitch. It's a total mess from front to back.

Obviously, I hope they prove us wrong and next year's game is great. But this isn't playable.

Chris, I've played for 4 hours straight on the ps4 pro today and have seen nothing like this. The only glitch I saw was the ball bouncing on the spot, having been set down for a corner. Otherwise, the cpu goalie has been fine, my goalie has been fine. It's been damn hard to break through the opposition defence at all. I've been quite pleasantly surprised at how fresh some of the AI attacks have been.

My own view is what does it matter if these bizarre glitches are out there if they never or almost never happen to me? It feels like it's looking for a reason to dislike it, which isnt really conducive to happiness when it comes to pes in my experience. (Of course this doesnt apply if you simply detest the game in its entirety)

You might recall me absolutely slaughtering the online test a few months ago. I couldnt complete a half, having tried three times. For some reason, this just feels quite interesting to play...on the basis it will be tightened up and is essentially a demo atm.

Have to stress that I'm basing my views on the Series S. What I'm hearing about the PC experience is truly shocking.

Playing on the Series S until close to 4am last night, though, I genuinely had a huge grin on my face. yes I saw the clipping, glitching, stuttering, frame-skipping moments. But I saw moments that were like a shaft of celestial sunlight from PES heaven. And no, I'm not taking the piss, I genuinely thought that the community was going to love it. Memes and performative uninstalling are the order of the day though.

About to play the PS4 Pro version right now and the PC later this afternoon. Seems that the most viscerally unhappy eFootballers are from the PC camp, so I'm dreading what I'll find there.

Id love to give good critical feedback. But and it’s a big butt.It will fall on deaf ears.

There’s just no point. Most of us have been on this train since 2008.We’ve seen the good the bad and the dam right ugly.

Do you really believe this company is going to change. It’s the same old pattern of lies, deceit and smoke and mirrors.Honestly take a real deep look at this game. Are you really seeing anything that wasn’t being done 10 years ago. It’s just the same old tired board they’ve been walking since 2008.With the same empty promises and poor marketing.

Gamers aren’t stupid or naive, yet Konami seem to think we are.Would you allow a friend or member of family play with your loyalty and emotions this much.

Games live and die by there gameplay.Word of mouth. Its a fickle industry and nothing goes under the radar of a true gamer. It’s why pes was so successful in the first place.

What they released is a complete mess and understand that. But more important than Just shit on the game is exalting things that are positive in wich they be build upon and make It a trully remarkable game once they fiz all the bugs and make the needed adjustments.

Pes 2014 was an opportunity for a more challenging, realístic, unpredictable game and we missed that due to harsh feedback that was unable to recognize some of their New but good ideas.

We should all know by now that the Konami work enviromment is a complete mess, but behind all this mess there was also some great minds with really good ideas that didnt come fruition thanks to crap work enviromment, terrible developing management and our terrible Feedback.

Not DL this.
I'm not playing this.
This is a joke.
Might have a look at it's Botox filled sister instead ,which I think is pretty bad as well ,but Vs this?
It's like having to chose between eating dog crap or dog crap that has been seasoned.
