eFootball (All Platforms)

You know when you eat something bad and it plays havoc with your guttyworks. You feel your stomach rumbling and know that soon you’ll be rushing for the toilet..

That’s a weird feeling.. because you know it’s going to be a disastrous pile of crap, you know you’ll be sweating and feeling rough.. but at the same time you’re just really happy it’s finally released and you raise a smile, a laugh and utter “Jesus… ooh that was bad” but then you wipe yourself down, dust off the shame, spray the room with flowery smells, open the windows, wash your hands of the ordeal and move on.. what a great but weird feeling.

Anyway eFootball is out soon..

We found a new crowd.

...with better phones than ours in top of that. But don't hold your breath guys, because on 29th of September eventually I'll purchase some new android elite with 5G spot directly from Elon Musk himself just to be sure that I can run my eFootball on photorealistic next-gen... Also I have in mind to purchase one of those Japanese toilets with automatic flushing, sensors, and massage to release my "stress" comfortably when I'm gaming fiercely vs those old tech PS5 plebs...

Or one that's so bad, so putrid, your nostrils have almost been overloaded; you're numb to it now. In a strange way, you're almost proud of it.

eFootball releases on all platforms and devices on 30th September.

GT7 Will demand "always online" even when You are carreer mode or something..

Yeah, this is totally off thread I know, but not much. Everytime a gaming Company do some shit decision, guess who comes to mind? Our little precious Konami, so then I go visit here Just to check If things are Just as bad If not worse than the Last time I visited here.

Konami can delay their news and vids as often as they want. They can have the most ridiculous marketing of all time, they can release the biggest pile of shit, it still doesn’t matter.

As soon the game is out, the social media channels will be flooded with the „Thanks Konami“-morons who are happy to blow their money into Konamis asses for some virtual football players to use on their fucking cell phones.

We’re in 2021 and we have a generation of affordable videoconsoles with graphics and possibilities that I wouldn’t have dreamt of in my wettest dreams as a kid, but the future of gaming is on mobile phones. I think this says more about the customers than about the gaming industry. What a time to be alive.

Its just another online gambling simulator with sport game along it.
But because KONAMI is slow in everything they are slow here too. 2K did it 4-5 years ago, FIFA 10 years ago.

You can even buy "gaming phones" now :LMAO:

I remember a couple of years ago people saying PC gaming was becoming obsolete in favour of mobile gaming and I thought it was a wind up, but it seems like the prediction will be proven correct. Just another manifestation of the clown world we're living in, and in truth the bar for success with this "new crowd" is so low that no matter how poor the initial release or how negative the reaction is on social media you still can't predict failure or success. Thinking about it more, as long as the mobile "in app update" is an improvement over the 2021 version then that alone could generate enough extra downloads and revenue to justify throwing long time fans under the bus.

Here comes your wettest dream, because those amazing graphics as you can see are at their peak right now on PS5 compared to 10 years ago:

What has spoony been saying bro?
I think he said something like I’m not going to bother with efootball footage as I have something better in the coming days, or some such thing.

actually it was but it’s been pulled. The man is doing nothing for this community by backing this game.

'Gaming phones' aren't new. Do you not remember the Nokia N-Gage?

Am I the only one sticking to eFootball Pes 2021 ? 😂
I just picked it up (after 2 years with PES 20). Good to start a ML with teams updated to the end of last season. Playing on PS5 feels like a decent leap over PES 20 on standard PS4. Noticing tweaks in gameplay already. A refined version of PES 20 I see it as. Enjoying it a lot so far. Manual passing an absolute joy in my opinion. Everyone should be playing it like that over assisted passing. Completely different game.

Quite a monster-tech, from a pure geeky perspective :D Too bad that 99.9% of the content is leaking from micro-transaction sewers ...

On a side note, remember that roadmap shot with suggestion for mobile phone controller? Well, here it is - ROG's monster for just that https://rog.asus.com/controllers/rog-kunai-3-gamepad-model/ ... hurry up Konami, recommend these gadgets :P

He's had access to the game, and was going to do a video on it. Looks like Konami blocked it until later for some reason

I cant play that game .. i will switch to FIFA 22 next-gen with sliders ...

I was waiting 2 years (even more maybe, from PES 2019) for proper next-gen PES and now this ... :SIL:
Same. But in my case there's always one, same recurring scenario - FIFA is good for 2 weeks maximum after I start playing PES again trying to convince myself that this game is better than FIFA. - after 3,4 matches played I'm again sick of it again and I don't play any footy games for the next 2,3 weeks as there is no proper footy game available.

And then again...It's quite repetitive throughout the whole year until June hits where we usually get the first info about the new release in September, but after what I've seen this year about the EBullshit I decided not to upgrade my rig (no decent PES on PC this year, no next-gen FIFA either) - and I've got myself a PS5. So the only hope is in FIFA this year and I'm looking forward to getting into it again after 5,6 years of playing PES regularly.

Footy game is all about the modding that was my fav part since 2002, so I miss it so much already when I think about playing Poncemiontce Calcio, or fuck knows what's called.

Pretty sad times for the footy fans this year though.

I was similar last two games.

But now I just need to be honest and I belive I will stick to FIFA.

PES no longer exist, its free to play mobile game.
Just those nets and goalkeeper animations will turn me off ... no way I am returning to PES 2015 quality level (probably even worse) graphic, animations and everything else to be honest.

It's a weird scenario because those Fox Engine games PES 2014 to 2021 are good overall improving the pace of the game, fantastic graphics, ball physics and others aspects improved, but are not addictive at all. Even with mods and patches after 2 matches on the field or 30 minutes in ML/BAL I'm getting bored, tired, like everything it's getting repetitive too fast, matches feels similar, teams/players feels similar, the action on field it's like you know what to expect, the scoring oportunities are mostly the same, and the game encourages you to play mostly in the same manner using similar patterns.

In previous PES games especially on PES 3-6 there was a gamey feeling and addiction towards matches and how the game overall was developed. Those games are less realistic in many of the areas but triggers that "one more match" feel (like one more turn in CIV games) mostly because of the "weirdness" and unpredictability that happens on the field with the ball or physical contacts, deflections from the body like the ball isn't glued or magnetized when the player stops or manipulates it with his entire body not just with his feets, players that makes a big impact depending their position, a stamina bar that depletes and can destroy your entire match if the dash is used too often, fouls and injuries that happens often, and other stuff related to the overall experience as editing, unlockables, you name it...

Then in PES 2008-2010 was a moment when those parts were slightly regressing going more into a more scripted direction, but after that in PES 2011-2013 everything was improved again to be more accurate, nearly to the classic experience (excluding those PES 2013 boots ). So initially in 2013 PES was 100% in the right direction, but when they changed the engine (Kojima's FOX engine) PES 2014 was being used as an experimental product, and some board asshole(s) got the illustirous idea to focus from PES 2015 into the online casino. That worked but at the cost of ignoring the offline modes crowd, focusing the development just into myClub and gameplay (repetitive as I said at the beggining). Then they brainwashed the consumers in PES 2020/2021 partially with the eFootball culture, almost nobody was complaining because the new crowd of tik-tokers was already growing too big, and now we are full into eFootball...
