eFootball (All Platforms)

I don't get the point of playing a videogame on mobile in general, but maybe it's just me.

No real button to me, no game. I hate those flat button from mobile screen touch too.
If it was like a portable console like the Odroid Go for Emulators etc. It would be different... But it's not.

Well It kind of is, since you will only be able to play in mobile against console users if you have a compatible remote control connected to your phone.

Agree. Aswell as buying a bigger phone, also a pad to play.
R2 trigger system will be awful on Mobile, i hope it won't be doable 😈.

For analog stick there's not too much issue for people used to play on Mobile.

What people fail to realize is, that all the processing is done on the CPU. The system requirements for PES 2021 PC is AMD FX 4350 which can handle the processing of physics and animations, etc. perfectly fine. That's a CPU from 2013. It's comparable to a mobile phone for 100€. So everyone claiming they had to limit anything for development doesn't know how game development works. GPU, Memory, etc. is completely independent for cross play and affects graphics and loading times. The only thing that needs to be fast enough is CPU, and mobile CPUs are fast enough already. Even older ones. So they had no limitation whatsoever!
Do you get your computers from Walmart?

In all discretion, do you remember how did you paid for your Computer?
I buyed one +- the same year (perhaps in end 2012). Do you got almost 8 or 16 GO ram (very important)
Is your motherboard at least an Intel I-5?

EDIT / that my old but actual PC configuration, i copied past but have to add the gfx card.
Also, very important, i'm on a 1920x1080 Monitor. I can play Dark Souls 1 and 2 in 60fps with a patch and full of details added, also SF4 for example.
And some PS4 games without issues (Fifa 16 got slowdown btw)

Edit:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690 CPU @ 3.50GHz (Quad core, i think it's the I5-4690K version but windows don't recognise it)
RAM Memory 16,0 Go
GFX Card : NVIDIA GTX 750 TI
Windows 64 bits, processor x64

Will check how i paid it, i don't remember exactly the price, and edit in a few minutes.
Edit then: from CSL computer it's a german website and price are very low for the same models, i paid it almost 650-700 euros (i asked by message to my father as we took both the PC there in the same time, he answered 650, but i think it's more)

I had a WWE Funko pop collection. And I sold them for just over £1,000, that's how I got my first PC in 2017 :D

Good Exchange bro £1000 for a 2017 PC, you can play everything recent without problem.

Well all related to WWE to me, how should i said... Mmmmhhh...
I wouldn't buy or watch anything related, but i would sold it (but how can i sold my collection, if i never buyed it before? That's the question.... Well, i should stop Porto)

Well it funded my first PC and then i just purchased parts over time

to make it even more confusing, people are playing with mouse and keyboard on their phones OR they use android emulators to play mobile FPS games on PC. WHY?

spoony pizzas can piss the fuck off... what a shill this man is.
I think that's unfair. I don't think he's a shill or anything close to it. I think he's heavily biased towards PES and against FIFA, and often makes bizarre claims (to me) about which games are best in the series (e.g., 2018). But I think that's because some people really value things like dribbling fluidity way more than AI variety, and so they weight these things differently in their estimation of what makes a football game a good "simulation". Likewise, I find myself often disagreeing with his patch update reviews – I think he's too quick to say x or y has changed, based on a confirmation bias e.g.

But in any case, SP has torn into Konami before, and recently, for shoddy releases, the beta, and marketing. He has not, up till now, been a yes man for Konami or anything, so far as I'm aware. He also doesn't generally promote the myClub side of the game or MTX stuff in general. So it's not clear how you come to this point that he's a "shill". I think that's an easy, lazy claim.

I messaged him looking a link to an option file update and he sent me a PayPal link to send monies
I took your post, and your writing it like this, to be a joke. Is it not? If so, what's the context here? He was sending you his personal PayPal? That just sounds highly implausible. I know he always recommends people to go to PES Universe, because he rates them (I don't, myself). But he's not part of their team and doesn't make any kits or anything. Why would he send his PayPal?
This is disgusting yet doesn’t surprise me.

I have links to every PES Universe Option File and if anyone wants one, let me know. I never pay for them - just search on YouTube and there are always people offering links to Google drive. Don’t pay for that stuff - hopefully the PES Universe ‘business’ will disappear with eFootball over the coming months and years.

True Brits will then have to go back to his dodgy commentary for the Eurosport channel and Spoony back to working at Dominos.

And I don’t want anyone telling me that we can’t criticise these people - they literally charge real money for using other company’s PNG files for logos etc. And they’re also extremely rude and arrogant about it all so fuck them. They’re everything that is wrong with modern day PES.
I can understand why people don't like groups/editors charging for OFs. I've not paid before, though would consider donating to particular editors if I really liked their work. But I don't really see how this is relevant to Spoony Pizzas. Other than that he sometimes recommends PES Universe?
Just came to say fuck spoony pizza.
This sort of vitriol is so over the top.

As I said above, I disagree with him on a number of points about PES, and find him unduly positive about aspects of PES, but it's all within the range of subjective opinion – taste as to which bits of a football sim you truly value. The hate here is really over the top.

If I was to direct any hate at a "content creator", it would be one who actively promotes the opening of packs on their streams. Obviously FIFA has way more of this, but you still have some PES streamers who do all that, and I think that's pretty despicable.

Spoony Pizzas uses his YouTube platform to both promote PES and make money from it. He monetises his videos and also gets pissy with anyone in the comments who offer the option file to someone else.

He’s out for himself, to make money and shill hard for Konami so he gets early access to stuff etc - again, this will bring in views which equals money.

PES was always about community, kit makers doing it for their love of the game, everyone helping each other find the best option files, comparing Master League journeys and…you know all of this because you’re also a lover of PES.

PES Universe don’t even have the ‘Bronze’ section on their site anymore. No free option files. You pay them or get out of town, they will talk to you like shit. I’ve witnessed it on several occasions. TTB and Spoony Pizzas can fuck off and I’ve got no problem saying it.

The biggest issue I have is the hypocrisy of it all. They complain that people download their option file for free (one guy will buy it and then upload it to his Google Drive for everyone to use) yet PES Universe pay NO royalties to any of the businesses, organisations etc for using their logos, kit designs etc. They don’t even get permission from any of the clubs or companies. Which is fine - but don’t complain when others refuse to pay you for something which has always been community driven and available for the love of football gaming, NOT profit.

the reason Modern PES is bad compared to WE9LE is because the players don't sink with the ball. The ball moves so fast and the players animations are to slow. The game balance sucks!
Just played a game of 2017 after playing WE9LE for weeks and this was very noticeable.
And i add the CPU attacks are repetitive and boring compared to WE9LE.

Do you think efootball will be limited to 1v1 offline or will we still be able to have 3v3 etc?
From what we see from Konami, they care just about 1 vs 1 only, they totally ignore any coop mode, whether 3 vs 3 or 11 vs 11, for now.
This is another proof of how out of touch they are.

I’m not going to point fingers and lambast the model too much, but I only had one experience with the PES Universe site.

I signed up to membership the first year out of good will, never received any files by mail throughout the entire year cycle. I chased them up several times after every update to no reply both on Twitter and email and ended up getting my stuff from PES World which was of a brilliant standard and free. My opinion of PES Universe was formed from that.

Who is "us" supposed to be?
Old school gamers.
The ones that played PES (and ISS, before that) during its PS1 and PS2 days (well, that was easy) and that backed it and supported it during the PS3 days (now that's a feat).
It's discouraging to see that Konami just waved them (us?) goodbye because they found a new audience, more willing to play quick one-off online matches and get instant gratification instead of committing to the grind of a properly done Master League.

I've noticed many people on Twitter say the same. I'm not going to comment on PES Universe any longer because it's derailing this thread but I wouldn't give them £1. There are far better option files out there for free of charge.

Fuck PES Universe and their tacky merchandise.

In all discretion, do you remember how did you paid for your Computer?
Sure I do.

The current one I'm using (AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 16 GB RAM - AMD RX 5700XT) costed me around 1300€ last September and I've been very, very lucky that I managed to get all the needed parts before the prices would go sky high.
The video card, which I paid 440€ for, was listed at 650 a couple of weeks later, before disappearing completely.
I know it's way more than I'd play for a PS5 or for an XSX... But PC games are usually cheaper, there's modding, with one single device I can do everything... Much better than having an "office" PC and a console.

Also the one before that (i7 920 - 6 GB RAM - AMD Radeon HD 5770) costed me around 1000€ but then I added another 6 GB of RAM, an upgraded video card (R9 270X, which I paid 150€) and a couple of SSD drives... Reaching more or less the same amount of money I paid for this one.

I don't envy people needing to buy a new PC now, as the one I bought last year would probably cost around 2K now.

Didn't he slam PES myclub as gambling and told his subscribers to stay away from it only to then backtrack after Konami sponsored him? On the subject of backtracking Spoony and TTB who both have a vested interest in the PES/eFootball franchise are no longer critsizing the footage of efootball. What a surprise eh?

What kind of improvements do people want to see from ML going forward? It's weird, I actually found ML more addictive when it had less, or maybe I just had less other games to compete with my time when I was younger! In some ways ML I feel lost its charm when it became more like a career mode rather than building an awesome fantasy team. It's still my go to mode, but thinking about it now, I kind of have the feeling that less was more in some way. I guess if ML had more leagues for each country so there is a greater level of promotion and relegation, that would appeal to me more than anything else they could add. That was the great thing about SWOS, pretty much any league you could think of was in that game. On SWOS I took a job at Greek team Hamrun Spartans after guiding Carlisle United to the Premier League and winning all 5 trophies (including Champions League) in a season with old Ronaldo scoring 128 goals in one season. I then got stuck at Hamrun Spartans despite taking them into the Champions League while unable to attract any decent players. The rest of my career I was trapped there despite going for other managing jobs and my outstanding resume!

Those new controls drive me crazy. They moved "press" from X to L2 and replaced it with "match-up". But they easily could bind this "match-up" to L2 instead ruining old scheme. Not to mention that this "match-up" feature isn't new in fact. This is literally old R2 during defending!

Now let's make a quick summary: R1 is going to R2, R2 is going to X, X partially is going to L2..... AAAAARGGGHHHH!!!!!! Please, stahp!!!!

If only the media, newspapers etc would use their power to call out certain business models of these gaming companies, instead of mocking adults for enjoying video games.

... i also have to pay my respects. Not that i "abandon all Hope" and certainly not switching to "the other Footy Game" anytime soon, except for the older Versions i still own on PS3/X360 ;)
i actually think the gameplay looks rather decent, keeping in mind its a beta gameplay video there, hopefully the final product that releases will be much more refined and market-worthy.
i understand PES is still big in Asia, and so is Mobile Gaming, so that sentiment from Airbag ("dumbed down mobile entity") does somehow weigh in, but i wouldnt throw it all under the bus just yet. Playstation is also big in Asia and elsewhere i think ? certainly they will want to make a decent profit on those machines as well ?
guess what i'm trying to say is, i'm willing to give eFootball 22 a chance, but if it's true that there's no updates to the base game (??) and also no customization except for PC Players (with external sources for mods), then it will be a serious struggle

"i actually think the gameplay looks rather decent" I genuinely cannot understand how you or anyone can come to this opinion. The pace, the animations, the lack of unexpected animations, the last gen look. Everything about it looks repetitive and joyless.
