For fucks sake, what are you all still doing in here?

Gloating like you just beat the Harlem Globetrotters!? It's pathetic and it shows you up for the glory hunting little twats you are. No fucking dignity whatsoever, grow up.

Cheers Tim - Now some gossip from the official chat site. Apparently this is from a guy who works closely with the squad. I don't know who it is, and with all rumours internet based, probably lies and nonsense but when you're sinking with the Titanic you'll grab any piece of driftwood that comes along.

The new boss is not my ideal man, but by God it beats the tosser in charge at the minute.

"JOSE MOURINHO

He was the most brilliant man he has ever worked for. Had a personal relationship with every single one of the staff. Was the only person in football with whom you could have a conversation about just about anything. His arrogance was for the cameras, away from the game he is mild-mannered, quiet and respectful.

He loved everything about the club and wanted to stay for ten years. The reason relations broke down was because Chelsea were becoming Jose's club not Roman's and that wouldn't do. When he said goodbye every single person formed a guard of honour for him to walk through. There wasn't a dry eye amongst them.

All of the players and the backroom staff are in constant contact with the man who always replies to any of their texts almost immediately.

AVRAM GRANT

Avram really does absolutely nothing, he just stands around with his hands in his pockets and - as he did in his Pompey days - seems obsessed with setting out the cones. The training schedules are exactly as they were under Jose except that there is none of the analysis of the next opposition with which Jose would furnish the players.

JT's comments about AV half-time talks is all so much sh*t said for the benefit of the club's PR. The truth is that AV's half-time team talks are a joke. He just cannot do angry and when he tries it still comes out as a confused mumble which has seen players snigger at him rather than react. It is only Stevie and Ten Cate who have ears of the players.

When on the bench, he goes through the motions but really has no idea what it going on during games. My contact related one alarming story during the Boro game when AV was at the edge of the pitch gesticulating wildly as we make a substitution. AV turns round to the bench and asks: "what's going on?" where upon Clarke had to tell him that they had put on SWP for Ballack.

Not one player wants to see him as manager next season with many intimating that they would seek a transfer if that was the case.

In fairness to the man, it seems that he also knows he is not up to the job.

The good news is that - as far as my contact is concerned - AV is definitely to be moved upstairs at the end of the season regardless of whether or not we win the Premiership or Champions League.

COACHING STAFF

Stevie Clarke is one of the boys and takes most of the training schedules. Ten Cate does have a lot of input as well but his man role is the bad cop to Stevie's good cop.

PLAYERS

Drogba is definitely leaving at the end of the season.

Kalou is very religious and one of the nicest people you could meet.

Ballack is one of the most awesome players my contact has ever worked with. According to the club's own stats he covers more ground than any other player (I know, that really does sound strange!).

In training Riccie looks absolutely dreadful, a pub team player. However during actual games he shows himself to be one of the best centre-backs in the world.

Of all our youth, Gael Kakuta looks the most likely and is, at 16, the best player he has ever seen.

THE FUTURE

Frank Arnesen has all the influence. Roman loves Dutch football and wants Chelsea to fashioned in the Dutch style. We can expect an influx of Dutch players and management. It seems that Rijkaard already has one foot in the door and my contact fully expects him to be our manager next year. We can also expect Huntelaar and Van de Vaart to be signed.

THE PRESS

According to my man, believe what you read in The Sun (yes, The Sun!!) as they get so much right including stuff that goes on behind closed doors that they must have a mole in the Chelsea set-up.

For the record, he is not Chelsea fan but says that the club's set up is now second to none and is the best club he has ever worked for."

Yeah, i heard about AG and his cone obsession
You know, with the title race over, i'd rather AG go now and just hand over to HTC for the last few games. He at least knows what the spherical thing is.
I fully expect the next manager to be Dutch too.

Unlucky yesterday lads, you deserved to win in my opinion - JUST. Hitting the bar and a brilliant save from Wigan's GK kept them in the game and gave them hope. Title isn't ours yet despite what the media wankers are coming out with. If you remember last week it was yours to win because we had "tougher fixtures" and then they contradict themselves with the old cliche "there isn't any easy games in the Premiership" We need a favour from Everton and you need one from Blackburn.

May the best team win! :)

With all due respect Plan M, it is over, it was over and it will be over!

We probably did deserve to win, but after 70 minutes we needed another push. Grant was sitting on the bench with his fingers crossed AGAIN! It's happened time and time again and we didn't deserve to keep getting away with it. HE doesn't deserve to keep getting away with it.

He shouldn't be there. Put him back upstairs or get shot entirely, he has no business coaching a football team. He is a fraud - simple as that....

I know it's hard for some people to fathom with us being second and in the semi's (via Valencia, Olympiakos and Fener - the 3 worst teams in the comp) but he really is doing a terrible job. We are a total shambles.

Would it be crazy to suggest that Roman might even be picking the team and tactics?

Anything is possible - he may get a say in one or two selections (ie "Stop picking Malouda Grant, you twat") but the fact is, he's a billionaire and a politician. I doubt he has the time, nor gives a fig who's left back as long as the team is winning.

it has begun :DD

Nevin tips Rijkaard for Chelsea

Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin believes Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard will be the new Blues boss next season.

Present manager Avram Grant has come under increasing pressure following Monday's 1-1 draw with Wigan.

Nevin told BBC Sport: "I'm speaking as someone who just wants the best for the club. I don't have the ear of chairman Bruce Buck or owner Roman Abramovich.

"But I would not be devastated or all that surprised if Frank Rijkaard turns up as the Chelsea manager next year."

Rijkaard is himself under pressure at Barcelona, despite leading the club to the Champions League semi-finals this season - where they are joined by Chelsea.

Nevin believes that former Stamford Bridge striker Gianfranco Zola would be another leading contender - if Grant leaves at the end of the season.

And the Scot has a suspicion that long-serving assistant manager Steve Clarke is likely to leave Stamford Bridge if Grant remains at the London club.

"Zola is still great friends with Stevie Clarke and I would hope that Stevie would still be down there," said Nevin on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound.

"If Avram Grant stays, I don't think that will be the case. If Avram Grant goes, you never know."

Nevin revealed that he had been swamped with angry emails from Chelsea fans following Wigan's late equaliser at Stamford Bridge.

"I write for the Chelsea website every Tuesday and usually ask a little question at the end," he added.

"Usually, I get a couple of hundred emails per week.

"But, oh dear, my emails went into meltdown because the only way you can contact the club is through my email address.

"I've got over 1000 emails sitting there and they are not answers to the question."

Nevin said that many fans were furious and had given up on Grant.

"Most seem to think he has a problem and that is the important games, yet those games have come against lesser clubs," stated Nevin.

"They lost a cup final to Spurs when Chelsea basically did not turn up and they lost to Barnsley when the FA Cup was wide open for them.

"Then, of course, they lost a late equaliser to a Wigan side that were waiting to get hammered.

"He had left out Drogba and left out Ricardo Carvalho, which was an amazing decision.

"And, most important of all, he left out Joe Cole for the first half and played Florent Malouda, who was absolutely hopeless."

Nevin pointed out that there had been positives to Grant's reign.

"He has only lost three games all season in the league and could still win the Champions League," he added.

"And can you sack a manager who has just won the Champions League?"

You mean he's a manager Pat? I wouldn't have guessed it.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with wee Pat considering he writes for the club as well. Kerry Dixon and a couple of other former players have stuck the knife in to Grant too (On Chelsea TV) and there has been no fall out.

Rijkaard is not my ideal choice, but a thousand times better than Grant. Too late to rescue this season though. If they had just kept him as caretaker I wouldn't be that pissed off with him, that's within his capacity. But a manager? Never in a million years....

RIkjaar is worse than grant???
you think barcelona was the best team in the world for 5 season cause of ronaldhino magic???

yall saying some ignorant post at time wow

surely for a transitional season its not been that bad T!

Arsenal and Liverpool fans think we should keep Grant. That is all the evidence you need that he is a joker.

I'm not watching the game tonight, the guy winds me up so bad I can't sleep at night when I watch us. I'm shutting down for the summer, I just can't take any more of his inept meddling and his excuses.

Best of all, my season ticket renewal came through the post last night! Great timing.... Not looking at it until he has his P45.

lol - see above. It's not transition, transition would indicate movement. I've never seen us quite so bad off as under Grant. There is a malaise over the players, the fans - it's like we employed a death eater as manager. The whole thing is unraveling, I've never been so low and we have been in some pretty precarious positions.

If he is there next season, I'll probably still renew but I just won't go. My mental health is too valuable.

How are things with you? :-pp

Yeah yeah take a look at some Barça games. They are horrible. The man is tactically a disaster! When I see Iniesta playing in the wings I don't stop to laugh! Psychologically very weak that coach. He simply can't control his own players. And yes, Ronaldinho magic and Deco, and Eto'o and blablabla done something...

Yeah i do agree Rijkaard has been poor tactically lately but you lot should remember that a few season's ago when Barca were the team to stop it was the Duo of Ten Cate and Rijkaard that created that, he may be shite on his own but them both together it can work and has worked well in the past.

Lean in closer to your screen and admire the tactical genius that is Avram Grant. Here he's giving directions to Lampard on how to time his runs into the box:
