If that's the case, let's hope he doesn't have to play right wingback, hehe.

I still have no clue why Ranieri bought Parker in the last season. Maybe he's a decent player...

Scotty Parker is an awesome player, probably Chelsea's best player since he left Charlton, imo.

Imo, lampard is the best Chelsea player in the last season. But I'll respect your opinion.

Btw, how many of you think if Baros would come to Stamford, that would be great then?

It's sad to know Gerrard wont come...

I personally dont think Baros fits into the liverpool team. He needs a big man to play off like koller, not some scrawny little whippet like owen.
And if we did buy him i can see him being like crespo n mutu, not achieving their full potential. Altho i do think this yr will be better for our strikers.

Tiago?

The club's chief executive Peter Kenyon has identified the 23-year-old Benfica player as a possible signing.

"In the position he plays Tiago has been identified as one of three possible solutions to Chelsea's needs," said Kenyon.

i hope they realise we need a replacement for Desailly.

He's good and he may come through this season depending on injuries etc, but he lacks big experience. He definitely one for the near future though, he gets more games with every season.

JFH has been made a free agent by Chelsea

Striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is pondering his next move after reaching an agreement with Chelsea that means he is free to leave the club.

Hasselbaink's agent, Humphry Nijman, confirmed: "We have an agreement with Chelsea and Jimmy is now a free agent."

The 32-year-old has been linked to Celtic and Rangers and Nijman added: "There are quite a few interested clubs.

"There is interest from Scotland and Jimmy is very willing to listen to what is said."

He added: "One club has already tabled an offer, although I am not willing to say where they are based.

"There is also a very lucrative proposal from Japan but Jimmy is not keen on moving there.

"He has no preference as to which league he plays in. What he wants is to join an ambitious club who are moving forward.

"He is still very ambitious as a player and wants to go where he can win trophies."

I want mutu to stay. I really like him and i think given a decent chance he will score goals this season. He played really well in the games he played but didnt score. All strikers go throught droughts and mutus jus happened to seem longer because of injuries etc. Not to mention the rotation system.

Another loan out from Stamford Bridge?

Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer Milan the services of striker Hernan Crespo – for free.

Speculation in the Italian media today states that the London club will hand over the player on a one-year loan deal.

As part of the agreement, the Italian champions will not even be burdened with his £3.2m salary as that will still be paid by the Premiership side.

Crespo has been linked with the Rossoneri for some time and the move may finally occur given his difficulties in England.

The Argentine joined Chelsea last summer from Inter but he struggled to settle into the British game.

Milan are actively looking for a fourth striker and the 28-year-old is liked by boss Carlo Ancelotti – who worked with the forward at Parma in the past.

"I don’t know anything about these stories but everybody knows that I would be happy to team up with Ancelotti again," stated Crespo. "We’ll see what happens.

"Especially when you consider what has occurred in the past. I started pre-season at Lazio before being sold to Inter.

"I then started work with Inter before joining Chelsea. Nobody knows what will happen but I’m ready for anything."

The Italian champions are desperate for a new attacker to join Andriy Shevchenko, Pippo Inzaghi and Jon Dahl Tomasson.

True, i'd also like to see how Duff and Robben get on this season! Will Josey push Duff to the right hand wing as i guess Gronkjaer is leaving for sure.

This rotation system with the 14 or so midfielders (correct me if i'm wrong) is sure to leave a few bruised egos!

Whats this im hearing about you guys signing Kezman? Havnet you got enough already?

your spot on mate, it might seem great to have all that dosh but its not been spent wisely IMO and its that very reason why chelsea aint gonna win The Prem or CL.

Vnz i wish you would stop posting in here, all you do is slag off Chelsea. You may have had a bad experience in the past with Chelsea fans or you're just pissed off that you finished below us, but give it a break ffs. Every post is moan moan moan. Leave it out, please.

get over yaself, its called an opinion and a valid one at that if you dont like it its your prob not mine.

Right so you're generally not a considerate person i should imagine, no doubt you have problems, fine, if that's the line you want to take. I'm personally going to ignore every pathetic post you make in this thread, as your opinion always involves slagging off Chelsea. It's not hard to see your agenda.

Why let Crespo go, WHY?
Give him his chance this season and he will score goals. Correct me if I'm wrong but he had the best goals/game ratio last season. He's a proven goal scorer.

And as for Kezman, well I hope he proves me wrong here, cos I personally can't see him being a success. IMO Forssell is just as good, if not better than him. The likes of Charlton, Fulham and Everton were after him. It makes no sense.

:l

are you for real, what has anything you said got to do with football.

My opinion was valid, you dont like it again not my problem.

If you want a football thread where people only post things that you like or agree with I'd find another forum cos I've had many a decent convo in this very thread with T when he's about......

I don't know JTG, i don't make the decisions down the Bridge. I would have thought Mourinho may have wanted to keep Crespo. The Kezman thing came out of the Blue too :-s if you pardon the pun.

I would like to see kezman at the bridge, hes replacing hasselbaink isnt he. And as he is a proven goalscorer, hopefully he will be the goal getter weve needed for some time

Lol, I just read this...

'Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard sent a text message to new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho saying he wanted to move to Stamford Bridge. (The Sun)'

Papertalk, eh.
