T Butcher fan said:Fairly standard for a qualifier, just like the first rounds of the worthless cup, really.

Jeez that is low for a CL game qualifying round or not.....
T Butcher fan said:Quality, not quantity.

Ooh, tickled your taste buds there vannizzle, didn't I!? Every club in London has their favourite Spurs song, often the same song - Arsenal on their own have about 6. Most of them are anti-semetic, but that's just the way it is. Songs are there for atmosphere - if we didn't have any songs to wind away fans up, and if they didn't have any songs to wind us up, we wouldn't have any atmosphere - which reminds me of Old Trafford.
Will Abramovich be annoyed? No.
As for filling the ground every game, like I said previously, if we had the plastic fans and hangers on that you do, then we would fill the ground.

Singing racist songs is okay cos it adds to the atmosphere, thats pure bollocks, either that or your a card carrying BNP member.
Yeah our crowd has got very quiet over the years many reasons for this but the main one being we're spoilt, so we dont get that excited when your chelseas or wolves come to play we usually wait for the big games, it shouldnt be that way but at least we turn up.
Well this to me looks like a song about Jews, still racist if it is.T Butcher fan said:The songs I'm talking about, refer to the possesion (or not) of a foreskin for the most part, and while anti-semetic, I doubt they have caused much psychological scarring.

T Butcher fan said:First of all, kindly furnish me with a rascist song that is sung at Chelsea. And I mean now, in the present day. Not one you remember from a hooligan documentary from the 80's. What I think you have in mind are songs that died out years ago. The songs I'm talking about, refer to the possesion (or not) of a foreskin for the most part, and while anti-semetic, I doubt they have caused much psychological scarring.
If you were playing Zilina tonight, 2-0 up from the away trip, Old Trafford would not be full. 45,000 at most.
Yeah it must require real loyalty to fly in on your private jet, pass the travel time by bonking a blonde half your age, fill up on a couple of whiskeys and settle down in your comfy seat away from the local scum .Vannizzlefashizzal said:yes we have alot of out of towners but they must be true fans if they are prepared to travel all that to watch a game, any game for that matter....
Vannizzlefashizzal said:The last bit is hypothetical, its been along time since I saw a crowd that low at OT, even the early rounds of the wortless cup we get 50K+ the only barometer I can use is a completely pointless freindly last year pre-season against Boca we got 55K.
Say what you want about our fans, the majority of season ticket holders are in the Manchester district, yes we have alot of out of towners but they must be true fans if they are prepared to travel all that to watch a game, any game for that matter....
T Butcher fan said:The worthless cup games are included in your season ticket though. This game was £30-32 a ticket. After paying £750 for my season ticket, another £100 at least on the group stage matches (plus any away trips I fancy) I don't have the money to waste £32 on a game that was effectively over two weeks ago. That's why a lot of fans didn't go - meanwhile, I believe Celtic are doing a deal for ST holders to get in cheap tonight.

Are they fook, you get first pref but anything but home league games you have to pay for, wont be as dear as darn' sarf' mind, but Manchester United PLC giving the match going fans something for nowt', never
T Butcher fan said:Christ!I thought ours were tight! We get worthless and FA Cup games gratis.
hutch said:Can't really call it the "worthless" cup anymore though seen as the new sponser is Carling. Just thought I'd point that out....
T Butcher fan said:I think it'll be known as that for quite some time. Especially as you can't get anything good from 'Carling'.
The 'no one is caring' cup?
Awful  , I'll get me coat.

hibsfc said:Makalele apparently to sign for Chelsea in the next 48 hours.
Although i think they already have enough midfielders i think that Makalele would be a great signing as they could really do with a defensive midfielder.
So, only 4 days to go... how many more signings will there be?
Any other rumours going about?
T Butcher fan said:Prof, my super signing sensory powers are twitching again. I think it's Makelele tomorrow.
