Big respect to Wigan, they didnt deserve that,hit the bar and should of scored first half. Are you Bolton in disguise....LOL
 
And that's why Chelsea will win again this year...curses...had hoped this weekend would be a signal that the league would be competitive, but somehow, no matter how lucky/ugly the win, Chelsea get it done.

I always thought he had the ability to do stuff like that. How can people think otherwise after that great curler two seasons ago?

So were Utd and Arsenal, seemed like Liv were the unlucky ones this weekend.

He scored a brilliant one against Arsenal in the 03/04 season but there was no hype since it was just Crespo, if Henry did it, it may have bene goal of the decade.

I was obviously talking about the team, I rate Crespo very highly and that goal against the Arse was no surprise I don't think people know what there talking about when they say he failed in England. Quality goal today and I think he's the most likely chelski player to bag 20 this season
 
Chelsea were a bit fortunate but what was Johansson doing at the other end shortly before? All the time in the world.

Anyway, I could watch that Crespo strike again and again, lovely stuff.

He also said that many palyers were not motivated (Robb, Duff, Drogba)

Does this mean Crespo might start against Arsenal.
 
I'd play Crespo above Drogba. I wouldnt say Crespo is better but out of the two, Drogba would be the better sub.
 
If Drogba was on and you wanted to bring on a fresh pair of legs, Crespo wouldnt be that good. But if Drogba came on late, his strength would be too much for the tired defence.
 
Chelsea also appear to have Essien..according to bbc...

Just in case they didn't have enough talent...lets see if he's worth it. Although, if I were them I wouldn't realise the figure, as not to embarass them if he turns out poor.

Out of interest, are Chelsea making money? I'd imagine they are, even despite all this spending.
 
Give credit to Wigan, their performance on yesterday was great, and we havent play well but about Crespo's goal, it was GREAT!!
