Yeah definitely, i hope he stays for one more season and we can nab him next season.
Both ways, Mour has set his 5 year CL target...
 
You have to remember that if he continues to play well, other teams like Real Madrid might step in to buy him too.
 
Great game,I am surprised DC United are playing so well,they've dropped the standard "mickey mouse" football tactics now,it seems.2-1 to Chelsea now,63rd minute,Crespo just stole a goal to for chelsea's lead.
 
It's actually a very exciting game. Great goal from Duff. DC United seems to turn the ball over to much, which lead to a good quick attack from Robben and Crespo who slotted it past the keeper.
 
Duff's goal is brilliant and glad to see Crespo scored. He give me much more confidence than Drogba.
 
DC united, great showing boys, Freddy Adu the 16 year old completley ate up Diarra the 19 year old frenchmen, what a great matchup.. DC gave the english champions a run for there money
 
Adu .. wasn't great in the U-21 Tourni but he is class ;)
D.C United were great .. I saw them .. I see soccer is going well in the US .. Chicago Fire and Now D.C :D .. WOW !!
 
I would say I really enjoy to watch second half and fter I watched the last two games with AC Milan and DC Utd. I've confidence that we'll do much better and win more trophy this season.

We have Robben, Duff, Crespo, J. Cole, Lampard, SWP, Terry, Cech and many many great player.
 
Sulph, is there any possibility you could post the goals like you did with the milan game? Pretty Please! With whipped cream and a cherry on top! :D

Don't forget that Columbus Crew beat Fulham FC 2-1 on Wednesdat as well. I havent followed the MLS too hard in the past 2 years, but i like the confidence i am seeing these guys play with.

I'd do the same.An MLS player scoring against the runaway English Champions? I would give two fcuks about it and celebrate as he did! Its probably one of the goals that Bob Boswell will relate to his children's children one day.Ouh yah...Drogba!!! He was at fault at the goal,he let Bob free!
 
American teen star Freddy Adu is dreaming of a future move to Barclays Premiership champions Chelsea.

The DC United player, who turned 16 last month, faced the Blues in the second half of a friendly in the US capital last night.

Adu is widely tipped to become the finest player ever to emerge from the States and revealed his ambition to one day link up with the west Londoners.

'I'm not going to lie about it, they're my favourite club team in the world and maybe one day I can end up there,' he told Sky Sports News.

'Playing in the Premiership is a goal for me and I think I can do it. I just need to keep working hard and keep my head on straight.'

Asked if he had met Blues boss Jose Mourinho, he added: 'I spoke to him before the game. I was just talking to him, I was just having fun and he was congratulating me on the goal I scored last week.

DC United took the lead in the 31st minute as Didier Drogba failed to track the run of Bobby Boswell, who headed in Christian Gomez's corner.

Chelsea hit back four minutes later with a sublime goal from Damien Duff. Shaun Wright-Phillips crossed to the far post where the Republic of Ireland winger volleyed the ball across the goalkeeper and into the corner of the net.

The recovery was completed by Hernan Crespo, who despite appearing to be offside finished well from Arjen Robben's pass.

Summing up the match, Mourinho said: 'It is the middle of their season so they are sharp, they are fast, they are better than we are. But our motivation only came when we conceded a goal.'

As for the goals, poor defending on the corner, but to his credit, drobga was trackin boswell but got blocked, not really his fault.
LMAO at the american commentary tho, 1-'o' dc! So funny!
Duffs goal, pure quality throughout, cross was inch perfect and duffs finish, immaculate!
Crespos goal was offside, but it counted and im so glad crespo has started scoring for us already, i really want him to be a hit in the premiership. I personally never considered crespo a 'flop', 10 goals in 12 games, is not a bad record in the premiership! And in my opinion, one of the best goals of last season v arsenal.
Again LMAO at the commentary "the dutch international BLITZING down the left side!!! LOL! Silly dramatic americans! Just reminds me of soccer am's boston goals! :D
