Firstly my apologies, i made that statement upon assumption, I was wrong about what Mourinho said.

In fact, teams rather to business with us, this is because they will get more money than their players are worth... Think about it.

No, I was not there during the times of the "dark early nineties", im only 16 and my interest in football only started about 5 years ago too.

So what you are saying is because im not English, and because Chelsea have been more successful than your team lately, and you are becoming jealous, that I am a gloryhunter. Congratulations, youve just passed to be completely ignorant.

Let me guess your story.
You start your interest in football.
You go to the internet looking at the league table.
Ohh, this team is at first place.
You go buy their jersey claiming your a fan.

This isn't my point. Many people became Chelsea fans in the period around 5 years ago when Ken Bates started to throw his money about buting the likes of Di Matteo. The times that led to you nearly going bust.

If you aren't a glory hunter what made you choose Chelsea, was it their nice blue kit?

And secondly how would you define lately? One season?

Well considering i'm 21 and I started my interest in football when I was 5-6 the internet would have been a pretty difficult place to start as it wasn't in many homes at that time. Secondly I was brought up on Arsenal as it is my family team (Great Grandad lived on Avenell Road you prick!) and if I can get tickets for any Arsenal game I will go all other plans cancelled.

Claiming i'm a fan!? I'll always support Arsenal even if we was in the conference, would you still follow Chelsea if that was the case. I wouldn't have thought so, you wouldn't be able to see them on TV then would you.

To be quite honest with you apart form the first place team bit I wouldn't be surprised if that was your football team choosing process.

Its nice to see how far jealous fans of other clubs will go just because they cant win anything but the FA cup. And that they didnt even deserve.

It's nice to see how little effort people put into responses when they've been put in their place.

As for the not deserving part, not sure if your football interests were fully kicked in by May 2001 you would have noticed Liverpool won an undeserved FA Cup. What goes around comes around.
 
I think you need to put in your place going around calling people glory supporters just because their team has been much more successful than your own in recent times. Jesus christ at the end of the day it is just football.

And if you remember, it seems to be the second time that United have come away with a poor result when they deserved better. The recent FA Cup and battle of old trafford game. Do you remember that? Maybe you can jog your memory by downloading some videos of classic matches, i mean, thats what youve been doing already right?

And how can you say he is a glory hunter, Nickybaker. Did he used to support Arsenal, or Manutd, b4 those 5 years? He choose chelsea because he liked the way they played, liked a player... etc. b4 mourinho went to chelsea, I was already a fan, because I loved watching Zola.

When I was a kid I'd say I was a fan of this and that but when I got to understand football that I choose a club. And I tell you that not a single one in my family is a Porto supporter.

That's a valid point but quite obviously not Sulph's reasoning otherwise he probably would have made that point by now.

That is basically the base of your arguement. All I can say to that is bullshit.

First of all, clubs always reject bids for their star players, theres no denying that. But that doesnt stop a team from purchasing that player if the player wants to join. Fulham didnt want to let go of Louis Saha but Saha threaten to leave for free when his contract runs out because he was so desperate to join Man Utd. If Essien was as serious as bbc.com make him out to be, Lyon would have no choice but to let him leave for a price rather than for free. If Essien is not willing to do a "Sol Campbell", you have to start questioning how serious is he about a move to Chelsea.

Secondly, you posted an interview from Essien saying he wants to join Chelsea. Firstly, you have to remember that not everything you read is true. And another thing you need to do is stop only believing stories that back up your arguement. If you're gonna believe the speculation, lets look at ALL of the stories, shall we?

The guy is saying something different all the time so you cant believe everything you read. And Lyon have made it clear that they dont want Essien to leave so if he DID join Chelsea or Man Utd, it'll also prove my point that a club cant hold back a player from joining another team if he's desperate to leave.
Which then proves my main point which is that after attempting to buy for nearly 20 players, none of them moved cuz they dont want to come to Stamford Bridge. If anyone does, and thats if he does cuz no one knows the truth, its Essien. But IMO, he'd prefer Man Utd because he has idolised players like Beckham and Cantona for years and its been his dream to play for us. The Chelsea move is just about the money.

Another point you made was that Lyon are asking too much money. Thats no excuse. Firstly, Chelsea have loads of cash to throw around. If they wanted Essien so bad, why not just pay the asking price? Oh yeah, I just remembered, you have to convince the PLAYER too. And secondly, putting on a big price tag is just a way of fighting off bids. If Essien does leave, he'd probably go for less that the asking price. Rooney's price tag was originally £50million and Everton said that he's not going for anything less. How much did Man Utd pay? We only paid £10million up front and promised another £10million next season with maybe another £10million depending on performance and appearences. Everton lost atleast £20million. When Alan Smith was about to join Man Utd, his price tag was about £12million but we got him for £7million. PSV at one point said they want over £10million for Ji-Sung Park but we got him eventually for £4million.
Cant you see that the price tag is only there to frighten people? If Chelsea wanted to buy those players, they'd get them cheaper but the problem is that player himself isnt serious about the move.

So for the last time, open your eyes, read my post properly and give me a REAL reason why you're right.

Sulph just comes here to defend Chelsea even though they and Mourinho are wrong.
Cant you accept it, Sulph? WTF is the matter with you? I understand that you "love" your team so much but they've been the center of a lot of controversy since Mourinho arrived and now when players are snubbing them, you cant take that either.

As much as I hate Arsenal and Liverpool and their fans, atleast I still have respect for them. You're not doing yourself or you club any favours by supporting the things that they do or by not accepting defeat. Sometimes when I'm talking to Sulph, it feels like its Mourinho I'm really talking to.

I hate glory HUNTERS not for their teams success for the general rule that they'll crow on loud when they are winning but will shrivel and die when they lose.

Your future isn't bright in the long term. Roman wont finance you forever and there's no way on earth you could make yourselves financially independent.
 
In my eyes your jealous, you know that Arsenal are no longer going to be competing for the title and that the prestige of the club is fading. I stuck by Chelsea. For all I know youve switched between Arsenal and United everytime one of them won the premiership.

Revan - his accent adds to the humour of the press conferences! :p
