Morinho is a great manager, (other than his bizarre love of Tiago), but he really needs to shut up at some point. I mean, I'm a United fan, and I'll be the first to admit that SAF talks alot, after games, plays the mind games before etc...but the Morinho cannot seem to blame anyone but officials. First the Anders Frisk thing, and now he's launched into a tirade against the linesman. And he's clearly encouraged Cech to speak out, the goalie's now saying he's not sure if it would have even been a penalty, and doesn't think he commited a foul. Now come on, there are limits to believability, that's like a certain Argentinian saying he headed a certain goal.

I used to have a soft spot for Chelsea, even last year, 50 years is a long time, and I think they had general respect in England. But if Morinho comes out after EVERY SINGLE LOSS and blames officals, they really will become the most despised team in the land, regardless of money.
To give perspective, in the USA a basketball coach recently claimed after a playoff game that he had heard from an 'unnamed source' that the game officals were told to specifically watch a certain player. He may be forced out of the league for this one comment! I think the FA have to start taking action, because otherwise there won't be many referee's willing to be in big games.

Who will be out/on loan in the next season, I'll bet my money on, Kezman, Forssell, Parker, Geremi, Cudicini or Smertin. It'll be good if the rumours that Adriano, Joaquin & Gerrard even Wright Philips are come in the next season.

Drogba, you should train more harder in the summer break and not to copy Henry's style anymore, be yourself and get more goals in the next season. Otherwise, you should decrease your salary.

Yeah the ball did not cross the line, that is some wonderful technology they have there. The linesman on the left could not see for Garcia was in the way, and the linesman on the right could only see the back of gallas. However, it does not matter, i accept that we lost, unlike many Chelsea fans. As i said, we have had lots of luck against Liverpool this season(eg. Tiago handball), and its finally balanced itself out, i have nothing against the reds and wish them luck in the final. What some fans are forgetting is that its been a wonderful, wonderful season. With or without the help of Abromavich. (Just to point out, Chelsea did make 4th place in the 0203 season without the help of Abromavich, beating Liverpool 2-1 on the final day of the season, so the critics that say Chelsea have only got up to the top 4 due to money, can suck my balls). Hopefully soon Chelsea Football Club can run itself without Abromavich, and start generating its own cash. Through fans and merchandising, and most importantly to winning more trophies. This season we've won 2/4\\:o/, next season, with the Community Shield, we can realistically compete for another 2 or 3/5. Its been a great season lads, end all this talk of flukiness or whos better than one another. I congratulate Liverpool, however they have to admit that luck is a factor in any Champions League campaign, for example, when Del Piero's header was ruled out. Even Mourinho had luck last season with Porto, when Paul Scholes scored against them, however, the goal was not counted for an offside, which was not an offside. So any team needs luck, thats what all cup competions offer, the luck factor. Whereas in the league you have to play over 38 games, which we have done very well, so i congratulate Chelsa for doing a fantastic job.

Congratulations goes to Liverpool Football Club:salute: for reaching the Champions League Final and i honestly hope you win. I also hope you come 4th in the league, for who wants to watch Everton or any other club other than ManUnited Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.

You still totally fail to mention, that had it not been a goal, the ref would have blown for a Penalty and Cech would have most likely got a RED card and Cheslea would have been down to 10 Men.

Does nobody read any posts on this forum? Butatista, read my post again, you will find out that i have accepted the loss, and am not arguing if it was or was not a goal.

Read it again Butatista

To be honest i dont think the ref would of blown for a penalty, yes we all no it was but he didnt blow the whistle nor even looked liked he was going to but hey thats history now!

Yeah, now that the season is over, i'd like to discuss the close season. I reckon Kezman will be on his way back to PSV. That'll free up a place upfront. So we're likely to buy a striker. Adriano? I doubt it. I imagine Inter would even turn down a sizeable offer. I would actually consider someone like Henri Camara. I think he's an industrious little guy. He certainly shows more effort than Drogba, plus he has bags of pace, which i'm a fan of.
On the wings. I'm 99% certain Joaquin will go to Madrid, so no need to discuss him further. There are plenty of decent wingers about, particularly lower profile ones. eg Castelen, Kalou, and then there's SW-P/Downing of course.
Left back. People are saying Cole. I'm not too sure. Del Horno is another possibility. That would be funny, as i think he resembles Wayne Bridge a bit. Kaladze has been mentioned ages ago, as part of a deal with Crespo. He's useful in that he can play almost anywhere at the back and in midfield. Then there's midfileder Manuel Fernandes of Benfica, who JM is a fan of. I do think JM wants to get cover or someonr to share the burden with Maka.
So i reckon at least 3, maybe 4 buys. As for players leaving, i reckon perhaps Kezman, Cudicini (bless him) and Geremi are the most likely.

I can't believe you're saying this, Camara is a complete numptie! He'll score one 35 yarder then miss the next ten 10 yarders! He has very little composure and often thrashes the ball high over the bar. His movement is also non-existant and, when he was up here anyway, a lot of the time he was lazy.

That Virtual replay is bollocks, the TV shows Gallas's leg go way over the line to hook it out, yet this Virtual Replay shows him square on the goal line?? and his leg not even over the line???

Steve Gerrard Gerrard !!!
he's better than Frank lampaard
and he's F#*cking Hard
Steve Gerrard !!!

Yeah I read it, I just thought that that incident was worth a mention, as you went into great detail in your post about everything else.

Same could be said about Drogba though :mryellow:

But seriously, he's impressed me a bit at Southampton. You know how players change a bit when they move clubs. I'd give D. Kamara a chance too, although it was Ranieri who was originally interested in the guy when he was at Modena. He has good potential at least. Apart from the ridiculously high profile Adriano, i wonder who JM has in mind for a striker. I thought at one point he might consider raiding Porto again, eg McCarthy or one of the others who have been out on loan this season. I quite like the look of CSKA's Vagner Love too. He seems a bit of a livewire, albeit a short one.

Well since our competitive season is over, let us analyze the squad. Who is staying, who is leaving, and most importantly, who is coming in.

Goalkeepers
1) Cech
2) Cudicini
3) Pidgely

If Cudicini does not leave, we are set for another season, with Cech behind our defence, we seem to be almost impossible to score against. He has established himself as one of the greatest signings of the Abrom era and probably has been the best goalkeeper in Europe this season. Thanks Ranieiri. You have got to feel sorry for Carlo, hes still has not stated his desire to leave and get some first team action, however we know that its killing him inside, it is a possibility that he is out.

Defenders
1) Bridge
2) Terry
3) Carvalho
4) Ferreira
5) Gallas
6) Huth
7) Johnson

A left back is definitely needed. Our beloved William Gallas can easily cover for injuries in either the Centreback or right back positions, which makes him a great player to put on the standby, in case of suspensions, rests or injuries. I think these players will be here next season and that no one other than a new left back will be joining them. Even though Glen Johnson is a sloppy mess of a player, he looks like he is going to be staying. I can see Robert Huth complaining about his lack of first team options next season.

Midfielders
1) Robben
2) Duff
3) Cole
4) Lampard
5) Makelele
6) Geremi
7) Tiago
8) Smertin
9) Jarosik
10) Parker

We definitely need another winger. We have seen what the loss of Duff AND Robben can do to us. Joe Cole has done brilliantly to come in and do the business. As for the centre midfield, i can see Makelele doing his job as usual next season, which he does wonderfully, and Gerrard still should be playing with the reds next season. At the start of this season, it would seem that Joe Cole was going to leave, however he has proved that he is a useful addition to the squad and I feel he has finally figured out his role in the game. Tiago, i hate. Geremi and Smertin could be on their way out.

Strikers
1) Drogba
2) Gudjohnsen
3) Kezman
4) Forssell

A major disappointment the striker department has been this season, the only "consistent" performer seemed to be Euider, the 24M price tag on Drogba did not seem to showcase much of his talent. I feel that players like these get "spoilt" when they come to a big club. Anyway, either Forssell or Kezman (hopefully Kezman is gone, as he has just not made it in England) could be out, either on loan or sold, and new striker should definitely be bought.

On Loan
1) Crespo
2) Veron
3) C Cole

These players should not be returning to Chelsea.

We hear that Abrom has given Mour an estimated 100M.
1) Left Back
2) Winger
3) Striker

Realistic Suggestions?

I think Jarosik should go out with Geremi, Tiago and Smertin. Scott Parker might be on his way out too, think he's not very happy at Chelsea. There has been rumors long ago about Joaquin coming in to Chelsea but seems like the rumor has quietened down but I do hope he will come. As for left back, I just hope I don't see Ashley Cole coming over, I really hate him. Striker wise, we're really in desperate need of a decent one who can really make our chances count. Maybe Forssell and Kezman will be going out, but I doubt Drogba will go even though I don't really like him. I'd really like it if Shevchenko comes along!

Yeah who wouldnt want Sheva or Adriano to come along> I think its time for Chelsea to sign a STAR. A well known renound player. I know signing these players is fround upon, such as the doing of Real Madrid, but one striking pstar will do.

Why not? He's possibly the best left back in the world at the moment. Anyway, Kenyon/Mourinho has buggered up any chance of signing him now, I reckon he will stay at The Arsenal.

Yeah but I have a feeling it'd be another low profile transfer as Mourinho doesn't really like big name transfers....

No idea why but I just don't like him LOL. I wouldnt mind if Henry comes over though!

I think it was hard on kezmen this season as most of the time he was coming off the bench similar to Forlan dilemma.

I mean kezmen needs a proper chnace, the poor guy is coming from a totally different league and different kind of stye of play. When at PSV he was involed more in an attacking formation, now he is at chelsea playing wide sometimes having to feed off long balls from defence along with new culture and at the same time the guy never really had a run in the first team for chelsea this season. So how can anyone expect him to produce coming off bench for last 15-20 mintues in a match.

Imo when kezmen moves on to another club be it in premiership and gets first team chance being the main striker he will be deadly scoring lots of goals.

Im happy drogba has flopped coz he is a big mouth copycat of Henry with stupid celebrations! Chelsea wont be getting Adriano as the player has already stated he is more than happy in Italy and Inter also said he aint for sale whatever the price. Chelsea should of kept Crespo and would of been scoring alot more goals with him up front. Also i doubt ashley cole will be moving to chelsea now after all the media and tap up news.

But lets check out mourinhos great signings this season.

Carvalho: Success
Ferreira: Just an avarage player not really needed as Gallas is better.
Tiago: Failure
Jarosik: Not seen to much of him to say!
Drogba: Waste of money better strikers out there who dont need to copy others
Kezmen: Failure

Can someone tell me how much money this 'special'mourinho wasted this year i think its close to 100million and people claim how great this guy is. I dont think so. The foundation and spirit was there last season and any manager could of came in and won premiership, carling and semi finals of champions league. Chelsea were even lucking to get past first knockout round in CL after blatantly fouling Barcelona's keeper in closing minutes of the match to get goal. So i doubt chelsea will win next year as more teams will know what chelsea are all about now.

I do hope chelsea find some more exciting players than what was bought in for this season coz they didnt exactly light up the premiership.

I thought we were superb this season - I'm talking about the big picture here. Overcoming our previous inabilities to conquer the smaller teams and grind out some drab but necessary 1-0 wins, was certainly an improvement.
Star players of the season. I would say Robben, J. Cole, Duff, Cech, Lampard and Terry certainly all shone brightly this season. They certainly got me excited. You sound a little disgruntle Alucard. ;) I agree with your player ratings, although not Ferreira/Gallas, as the Frenchman doesn't like playing as a full back, which Ferreira is. I don't quite understand the Drogba/Henry thing. I see DD as more of a physical player, who uses his strength and aerial power, whereas Henry is more of a creative forward, ie with more tricks up his sleeve. Henry's style is also more determined by Arsenal's style of play, ie along the ground. And yes, i do think of Henry as a better forward than DD ;)

ALucard isnt comparing Henry and Drogba on the playing field. He's talking about how arrogant both are. Both players act like they're the best player alive whenever they score.
The funny thing is that whenever Henry does it, its just so true.

Not disgruntled just a making sure i get my point across coz no one seems to recognize the crap mourinho bought in this season while all i hear from supporters and media is how great this man is for turining chelsea around so much and doing so much for the club with the spotlight always on him with unecessary interviews and stupid adverts of him on the televsion.

As if chelsea were struggling last season or in some sort of crisis before mourinho turned up and he came in and saved them from failure. Yes i admit he is a very good manager for what he done at porto, probably better than most managers around tactically i.e Alex Ferguson who doesnt seem know is own team anymore. but Mourinho aint done nothing special at chelsea except maybe you can say he won you the premier league in first in 50years, but it was gonna happen sooner or later with any manger with unlimited money so i wouldnt call it great or special.

Btw Nutmeg i was talking about mourinhos buys this season when i said players bought in this season didnt light up premiership.
