Kleberson was desperate to play in europe period, the fact that we came in with the same money everyone else did and he opted to play for us says it all.

What I meant was Cole apart it seems the players have gone cos the money is too good to turn down for the selling clubs/players not because they necessarily want to play for Chelsea. Alot of our recent transfers have involved players who want to play for a club like United and the clubs regrettably have to sell.

The fact that Leeds and Newcastle pulled out a month and a half ago says it all, actually. Same money? Leeds had the deal at 4.5 mill, Newcastle at 6. You were desperate for a midfielder and were forced to buy at about 7.

A similar situation for 'teenage sensation' Ronaldo. You could have had him for much cheaper had Chelsea not been sniffing around - and got yourselves caught in an auction. You were forced to buy to appease the fans and have paid way over the odds for him.

Now Queiroz has jumped ship, hows Fergie going to communicate with them? Do Latin players understand inebriated scotch?

I appreciate that you want to stick up for your manager, but you can't hide the fact that between Kenyon and Fergie, you've made a right fùck up of this close season.

2-0 Chelsea full-time and really could have been more if Chelsea really went at them. Don't think i even recall Cudicini making a single save in the whole match.
 
Mission Accomplished! Shame we didn't net more, although i can't see them being a problem at the Bridge. Duff and Johnsen were sensational. Personally i would have swapped Veron and Geremi around and started Carlton Cole instead of Forsell, but then i'm not the manager. :l

I´m Spanish fan of Atletico Madrid. Today I´ve read in the sports newspapers that Chelsea is trying to get Makelele from Real Madrid by 10M €. I´m happy with that!! Real Madrid´s manager, Jorge Valdano is very angry with Chelsea because they have negociated before with Makelele, without counting on Real Madrid... But Real Madrid did the same with Zizou and Ronaldo!! They spoke first to players and let them push their clubs (Juventus and Inter) to sign for Real Madrid. Chelsea is doing the same that Real Madrid did, and Real Madrid is angry now... :shock:

F,U,C,K the white boys! They want all for them, all the stars, all the money, all the titles, but they forget to be gentlemen...Now the´re suffering so much, because if Makelele goes to Chelsea, they would not have enough players to play in that position, and no enough money to sign Vieira, their next objective. And they need a Center Back too because Hierro is out of the team... :mrgreen:

How will this story ends? Probably it´s a strategy of Makelele to get more money from Real Madrid (he earn a quarter of Becks salary). Or he is doing this because he is 30 and he has only one chance left to earn more money and to arrive to another league...And he has only one more year left with Real Madrid...

Yesterday, Makelele didn´t go to the training and the club has frozen his salary (sorry, but my english is so poor)...It seems to be a interesting theme for these non-football summer days.

Chelsea need Makelele and need Vieri also. And if they can, please get Cannavaro also.
 
It now looks as if Juve are attempting to intercept Claude Makalele. They might propose a swap deal which sees edgar Davids going to Madrid in exchange for Claude Makalele. Meanwhile, Crespo is considering his options, one being Barcelona, the other Stamford Bridge.

The difference was signing a wide player and playing him central, and playing toss like Cheyrou and Biscan and Heskey!

Also - WTF was goin on with the penalty retake?!?!? He DIVED off his line as the ball was kicked - the fcuking linesman whould have got the throw-in right before he started to be the eagle about the penalty - PRI*K!!!!!!!!!!!

And, if Mutu can play in that game, I think the result should be 3-1.
I cant think about, how can Goujohnsen miss that goal when he was facing Durek(sp?) only. Even me can make that goal!!
 
That's right, mate. That's why Chelsea need to buy a "World Class" attacker if they want to be champion.

Ahhh, a wonderful and well deserved win to us there. I loved it. Veron was excellent yesterday. Surely he'll be playing that position in the games to come. Oh, and I'm looking forward to seeing Mutu in action.
