Too late for that, Jose's big gob might have gotten him into more than he bargained for this time. The guy is a fanny, he is incapable of just keeping his mouth shut and playing fairly, he did it prior to the UEFA Cup Final as well - in the press for days before labelling Celtic a team of barbaric thugs who kicked their way to the final, and look what happened in the game. He has no dignity, and deserves everything that's coming to him. He is a great manager, so why must he do all this shit too?

btw UEFA are correct on this for sure when they say they are considering punishments other than fines, it just doesn't hurt clubs at all.

Just read a news that said UEFA might ban Chelsea out of the CL. WTF!!

Pure media sensationalism. It makes a good headline, doesn't it. Granted we aren't one of UEFA's "darling" sides (neither are any other British teams, Mau Utd at a push) i wouldn't be surprised if they pondered the thought though. No, I imagine it'll be a fine, probably more that the £2000 for enciting racist hatred, mind.

Yup, that's pretty much it!
Mourinho and Chelsea will just get fined. No big deal really.
He might been a little out of line lately thought!

Magath: "We Are Better Than Chelsea" , here comes the war of words again. Another psychological Battle.
A.Robben back, J.Cole on fire, Bayern can't stop Chelsea!

I don't think Chelsea would play both Cole and Robben in the same XI.

Chelsea will most likely go through but if they come up against any of the italian teams, I doubt you can do it.

They stopped arsenal, who almost stopped you.

How did Arsenal almost stop us? they are in 3rd place in the premiership?
Arsenal came short by 1 goal against Bayern, and Arsenal's defence is in shambles. I respect Bayern they are an organized team, good team play, but won't be enough to stop Chelsea's run for silverware.

Chelsea will most likely go through but if they come up against any of the italian teams, I doubt you can do it.

The primary target first is B.Munich, after business is taking care of with the germans, than will think about the italiens.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Bad luck for Robben... bad luck!
It looks like a bad calf injury

Re: Chelsea FC thread

I am really getting pissed off with Robben. I know its not his fault but it always seems to happen to chelsea. Anyone remember Casiraghi? Made a sudden impact, everything looked peachy n then ends his career! Now we suddenly get this player that can (here comes an exageration) single handed can change the flow of a game, and hes constantly injured. I blame this injury on the original one he got from Dacourt pre season. I hate Dacourt, i want to set my panda on him.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Sure you got duff and cole and can probably afford to buy any left winger you want like the way yous have basically bought the title.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

You can never say that Man Utd have ever bought the title cuz all our money comes from the clubs success and fans. We earned the money unlike Chelsea.
What did Chelsea do to deserve all the cash they have? Nothing.
Abramovich could have joined any other club and probably would be in the exact same position where Chelsea are now.
Chelsea are buying success and theres no arguement against that.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

hopefully Robben will be back to business soon.every teams are trying to buy succes and some with more money some with less in their banks account

how come they didnt buy silvware last year? what about real madrid i dont see them winning anything, yes money matters to some extent, but so does alot of other factors.

Hard Team Work, chemistry , right mixture of players, is what Jose Mourinho established with Chelsea that has made them successul this year. If ranieri was still manager Chelsea wouldnt be in the position they are in now.

money doesnt measure success , funny, Man utd are richer club than Chelsea go figure! & they are having $ilverwareless year.

Yes but United do not have a unlimited transer budget every season and Im sure chelsea would be in the same postion with ranieri in charge, it doesnt take a genuis to win something with a 200million worth of players!

Do you think you would of had duff , robben, J.cole, lampard, makelele and gallas if it wasnt for ranieri? I dont think mourinho would have signed those players, its funny how quickly people forget!

Re: Chelsea FC thread

First Ranieri doesnt even have a job, because he didnt do a good job at Valencia.

However Ranieri has done some positive things at Chelsea, and also some not so good things. The spending spree with roman's money was mostly done by mr.tinkerman himself ranieri!

Whether Mourinho wouldve signed those players or not, we would never know, all i know Mourinho knows how to build a winning team that actually wins silverware. He also manages to get the best out of his players, and establish team chemistry. He proved it with Porto, now he is proving it with Chelsea.

Ranieri could never accomplish what Mourinho has accomplished!
Jose Mourinho will even surpass alex firguson!

Re: Chelsea FC thread

I think you people have to stop crying about this. If you're looking for excuses, first of all look at your own team.
We have always been a top side. The joke, however, has always been about which Chelsea team would turn up. This was always our downfall in the past. A bad mentality towards certain games, only wanting to play in big games, and losing ground on the title as the season came to an end. Mourinho has brought the right mentality to the squad, which was a our biggest flaw, make no doubt about it. With him, we have realised our potential. We've had our slice of misfortune and our fair share of good fortune, which if you're challenging for a title, you hope to get.
Again this season, our most influential players have been Terry and Lampard. I'd also argue Gudjohnsen and Makelele as well. Robben's albeit brief roles have certainly helped, but he's not been part of the equation for a while now, and won't be, yet we are still pushing on. Mourinho has also worked wonders with Joe Cole, something which i'm personally pleased about. Ranieri who bought him, didn't even play him. Again this Mourinho realising people's potential. I think the guy would have the same effect on any squad, even if we still had Gronkjaer instead of Duff. Smertin instead of Makelele, Huth instead of Carvalho, Forssell instead of Drogba, Cudicini instaed of Cech, Johnson instead of Ferreira, Parker instead of Tiago. not to mention, Terry, Lampard, Gallas, Gudjohnsen etc....

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Today I read Mourinho told some newspaper in Portugal that he did not actually see Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard enter referee Frisk's room at Camp Nou?! Now he indicated he was only told this by his staff!

I don’t understand....Was he lying?

Re: Chelsea FC thread

He is just egoistic person i dont think he intentionally meant to lie. I highly doubt chelsea would be 11 points clear of EPL if they just had players like huth, parker forsell johnson and gronkjear i mean look what happened when you put up that sqaud against newcastle in fa cup.

I have no doubt that ranieri or any other manager such as kevin keegam would be in the same position top of league with that chelsea team.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Mourinho was suspended for two matches. so the next 2 games with Bayern he won't be sitting on the bench. Steve Clark got away with a warning! Also for the security guy Les Miles.
Mourinho is fined 13.000€ and Chelsea, 48.400€.
