AW always wanted to make ashley feel at home,that why he chose ashley over flamini(cl finals).Mark my words flamini and clichy will improve there game 50% this season watch.I wasn`t wrong about Henry leaving and I`m not wrong w/ Flamini&clichy
 
I see Pennant's off to the scouse house and we get 25% of the transfer fee according to the BBC website. A nice £1.5 million should offset some of the money wasted on Alex Song.

It's hard to decide which I feel the worst about. I think Sol had a fabulous run in the side and I for one am not about to forget all the colossal displays he put in for the team in his first few years. He's just a bit past it now and his ego is outstripping his actual value IMO.
Cole hurts, but if his attitude is such then would we want him? We're well covered at left back and if Chav$ki will give us £20m then wham bam thank you Roman.
I was never completely taken with Bentley, despite his cool surname. It's perhaps a bit petulant of me but anyone who clearly spends that long infront of a mirror before a football match strikes me as a bit of a 'See You Next Tuesday'.
Pennant was good when he was good but I guess he's the ultimate example of someone believing their own hype. The thing about him is that he could still prove to be quality, but he needs to seriously grow up. And lay off the sauce.

Who knows? Maybe we'll add Theo and Justin Hoyte to that list in a few years! :lol:
 
I cant see theo wilcott being another trouble maker. I ve heard him in interviews and he seems like someone who has his feet firmly on the ground with a smart head on his shoulders.But you never know when Arsene Wenger is around. The boy is only 17 so all kinds of ideas could be going on in Mr Wengers head.
 
It depends on his agent,there the ones that bring most of the problems.Ashley

English players really dont suit Arsenal do they, shame really with being an English club and all that, who you got ? Cash Cole that looks to be going and then Walcott and Hoyte who will ardly play anyway. Bit of a joke really

Why is it a joke? We are an English club. Where is the rule that says you have to have English players in your side? Our recent experience of English players has hardly been good has it? I couldn't give a flying fuck who pulls on the red'n'white as long as they are committed to the cause and give 100% and are world class ;). Theirry Henry isn't English but he might as well be the amount of time he has been with us. He knows what it means to pull on the shirt of Arsenal so thats all that counts.

Or West Ham. My mates continually told me how they usually have at least 9 British players in the starting line up. Oh and how many play for England or would make the Arsenal team.


If we had millions of pounds like Chelsea have and United did we'd be able to buy lots of top qulaity English players!

Arsenal are suppose to be an english club. All the little english youngsters who are born and bred in England/london will feel hopless to their prospects of playing for their local team because they are not foriegn.

Maybe you want me to change that to Rooney, Ferdinand, Scholes, Neville, Smith, Brown hell even Richardson or Bardsley, at least all them players at some point have had a run in the United team

Ill even hand it to Chelsea and Liverpool they have some good English players

Just a note Nicky. A team without millions doesn't spend all that money that you spent on Reyes, etc. You're not a poor club.
