I agree with Clockender here. I dont think Cole has Arsenal "by the balls" as much as we think he does.

Thierry Henry has spoken about how he's tried to convince Cole to stay but the Captain is intelligent enough to know that Cole and Barnett have made it impossible for him to stay at Arsenal. With everything that's gone on and the book on the way Cole ran the very real risk of being barracked by Arsenal fans whilst wearing the shirt. He's wanted out for a long time now. Remember him on the front of the News of the World with the headline, "I wouldn't stay for £200,000 a week"? I do. Thierry trying to convince him to stay is like pissing in the wind.

As I've said all along it's very sad what's happened. A good young Arsenal player has had his head turned by money. He's had his bridges burnt by a man who is supposed to do the best for him and his career and he's been convinced by people more intelligent and conniving than him that it was Arsenal's fault. If he had half of Cesc's brains he'd realise that Barnett might have made him a bit more money by ensuring he moves to Chelsea but he's left behind a place where he could have been a true legend, an Arsenal boy through and through. Maybe he'll realise next season when he lines up at Ashburton Grove and hears the reception he'll get from our fans.

Funny thing is, she smacked a Nigerian cleaner in the face in a nightclub in Guildford about 3-4 years ago, calling her a N*gger Bitch, and got just community service for the assault. Her management company and defence stating time in prison would devastate her career.

Both of my housemates work in celeb related PR and both have independently told me that there are significant wispers circulating that the Ca$hley-Tweedy marriage is engineered to quash speculation, firstly about her being a racist and secondly about Ca$hley being a batty-rhy-dah.

hello guyz i am new to this thread but i beleive as an Arsenal fan i could bring some interesting conversation to the thread

1. Reyes looking like he is almost gone to Real Madrid, man would i be glad to see his little gay, diving ass go away to well whoever i dont care !!!!!

2. Everything is heating up with Lyon and Arsenal for Ribery eh ?????, i would be glad to see him at "The Emirates".

3. Rosicky to be the new Pires ?????, nah i think he will be better than that !!!!!

4. "The Emitrates Stadium" happy :) or sad :( to see the end of a "Highbury" Era !!!!!

1. Reyes can go to Madrid, he is homesick and will NEVER fulfill his potential at Arsenal. A shame but there you go.
2. Ribery would be a good replacement for Reyes but indications are he will be staying at Marseille.
3. If Rosicky is half as good a signing as Pires I will be happy.
4. The Emirates Stadium is magnificent but I will miss Highbury. Hopefully after we have seen some great Arsenal performances at the Emirates then we will feel more at home there. I mean after beating Utd 5-0 there this season we will have great memories! ;)
