He played but came off to put LB in CB position. That`s City fault they don`t have full strength . They didn`t have many in WC final:P .

5 all in all that got to the Quarters or further

Koscielny did play for the first 45 minutes. Then Wenger subbed him for Monreal - who's not a CB by any means. We badly need a new CB to be in contention after the sale of Thomas Vermaelen.
If it comes to that, there's no way we're getting away with playing Monreal as CB at Premier League level.

Still, it was a great way to kick off the new season, with a convincing display. We need to recover Walcott and then we can use the preferred front 3:
Alexis - Giroud - Walcott

Cazorla could be in contention with Özil for the middle AMF position, and sometimes be used in the flanks as he was today. And then there's still Podolski and Gnabry to be used on the flanks. Joel Campbell can play winger or CF, and Sanogo is proving to be an interesting option for physical CF play. He did really well on the 2nd goal.

It feels like we're packed with options in midfield and attack, but we're light on the CB department, and could do with a proper no-nonsense DMF.

We will also see what Ospina is really made of. Szcz's distribution today was all over the place. If he doesn't push himself for improvement we will be seeing the Colombian keeper between the sticks in no time.

We had (6) all in all :BYE:

Giroud- Bosscielny -Debuchy played ,but manage to get back in action.

ManCity`s (WC) players mostly were injured ,and Fernandinho should be seeing a anal medical mental-therapist specialist.

You're not allowed to count Sagna or Mangala, they weren't at City when they played at the World Cup. :SMUG:

Ozil played every game. Per played in Final- Brasil- and group stages . Podi played more in the group stages.

rumour mill : We're in for Benedikt Howedes, I would love to have him for obvious reasons. There`s also, a £8m rated Kostas Manolas that`s picking up speed.
 
Ramsey scores when he wants :P seriously though we look sluggish at times. We look too light in the middle and too many turns w/ the ball when a simple touch n go would suffice . No worries 3pts and on to CL qualifiers :BOP:
 
He probably will but our entire team was poor today. I don't think I've ever seen so many misplaced passes in an Arsenal match ever, it was shocking. Fortunately we got the win, but it was a really poor and quite boring game overall.
 
Its early days, not everybody is fully fit and we still have Walcott, Merts, Ozil to come back in the team.

Everything will be fine, im sure by the next leg we will be a different team.
