Does he intent to give muslim convertion speeches now :WORSHIP:

I'm losfer words...

hah Well, he is a muslim and that is his personal instagram account so. I believe he is already off to Manc, no? If not, I'm sure he will end up penning a deal after the WC.

We're nearly mid-June and we have only Gunners moving out and ex-Gunners joining rivals. Wenger must be out in Brazil commenting the World Cup for French TV. Still no signs of transfers coming our way... Not even that promising prospect 15 year old wonderkid from southern Vietnam that would have even the most optimistic football hipster skeptical?

When should we start getting worried? Is it too soon?

Well, we are linked with Balotelli, Mandzukic, Jackson Martinez, Carlos Vela, Alvaro Morata, Nani, Serge Aurier. But speculation does not mean much if you're Arsenal.

If we get one of those forwards (aside from Vela), Aurier, a DMF, and another attacker/Morata then we should have a really solid team going into the season.

That much force on top of Ramsey, Wilshere, Walcott, Ozil, Ox, Cazorla, Rosicky, Giroud, Podolski would be a fantastic roster, arguably as good as any other.

I would say end of July. If you sign a player now and they pick up a big injury in the World Cup, you'll be left with a hole in your squad a bit out of pocket. I think you may have dodged a bullet with Fabregas, as a team you've moved on and as good as he is (or was) there is no guarentee that he would start ahead of Ramsey/Ozil. I wouldnt get sidetracked about how he is an ex-player and this stuff about loving the club. He wanted to move, he left and you moved on, it's nice to walk down memory lane every once in a while but for that sort of money you had to be sure he was right for the squad - and he wasnt. How many attacking midfielders can you play in a starting 11? He might have ended up on the bench and to pay that sort of money for a 27 year old would have been excessive. If you use that money to buy players like Mandzukic, Juanfran, Miranda or even Seamus Coleman your squad will have more balance in areas of weakness.

Interesting that Cazorla said he doesn't want to talk about his future till after World Cup, however seems to be hinting at wanting move to Atletico.

Would be horrific for you if he decided to want out and you could have easily had Fabregas.

Ive only ever heard how much he loves it here, so it is a suprise. But he has only just signed a new contract and we dont need to sell him.

With us needing alot of other players and not taking up the option for Fab it makes no sense for Wenger to sell him.

Cazorla w'd welcome any attention w/ his name and rightly so! Atletíco can't afford Cazorla unless a 29 yr old is willing to take a pay cut of 40% . He probably thinking Arsene?

I hope not I like Cazorla!

Seems like Arsene is enjoying Rio...

Here he rules out signing Balotelli. Thank goodness.

Didn't you signed Aurier ? Anyway, Metro and DailyStar are shit sources.

Aurier is valued at 6m and been superb for Ivory Coast NT. He supposedly admitted to join Arsenal if he understood the question that is. Anyhow smoke screens are part of the transfer game. You just never know unless the club itself goes public to say a bid came in like what Liverpool did last season, everything is speculating and assuming.

I found a article in depth about Debuchy. I thought for Lille he was pretty good. I haven`t been that impressive with him at Newc , maybe just average...

In the end, I still like Aurier because I’m a sucker for good offensive fullback but Arsene switching to Debuchy is a no brainer. The Newcastle man costs half as much and is in almost every way a ready-made replacement for Bacary Sagna. In fact, he might even be a slight upgrade. There is a reason why Debuchy got the nod over Sagna for France in the World Cup.

You're only defending him because he's a City player now. :P

Honestly though, I think he picked Debuchy because of Euro 2016.

If you go back you'll see me saying Sagna was one of the Arsenal players that most impressed me this season. That was long before there was any mention of him moving up in the world ;)

Seems like we're getting Alexis Sanchez. Definitely a great addition and improvement to the squad. However, he is another faux-striker/winger. Hope we get a proper striker as well...

...a.k.a...

... Jackson Martinez :D

Yes that is what I was thinking, we still need an out and out striker, but with the money we are spending on him it makes it less likely to get one.......but will be very happy to get him....although not getting too excited until the deal is done, these things fall apart all of the time.

It looks like everyone is buying atm , Liverpool and MUTD are very busy . MUTD are going all in! w/ their (1) week per game season.
