TV cameras might have missed it but Walcott did a prolonged lap of honour after FT, waving to all corners of the ground...

maybe he´s on his way to City or United...sadly i don´t believe we can afford him more than 4 other PL clubs can...

Sounds like it was an entertaining game. But damn you Arsenal defense for letting Ba get in 2 goals to creep closer to RvP in the goals ranking again. :P

EDIT: just saw some highlights..pretty cool third goal there for Walcott. Time Krul was woeful on the buildup to the Podolski header from close range.

Im sure Theo walking around the pitch w/ the ball in the air like a trophy might be stretched a little to think its good bye  his 1st hat-trick as a striker! :))

anyways!

Looks like my Arsenal is coming back!

Walcott is not the full deal yet. he has a lot to learn if he wants to become world class.

if he goes now, he will end up like saun wright philips. an average player with huge potential.

Wenger is second to none in developing a players career and ability and if walcott had teh brain, he would take the 70-80k hand in hand now. continue his development and i guarantee u, if he does he can become a world class player and then u will see arsenal offering him 150k+ easily for his next contract.

no way does he deserve 100k now. wilshere is not even that and he is a better player. Walcott needs to be patient.

He needs to ask himself this.

does he want money or does he want to become a world beater?

You cant have both. What other manager could turn walcott into a world beater? fergie? manchini? rafa? And what team would give him good amount of play time in the middle where he wants to play?

in city he will barely make it in the bench

at united, chico , rvp and rooney are ahead of walcott at present and at chelsea, RA would not wanna drop Torres for walcott.

In barca or RM he has no chance even at the bench so he can forget about that pipe dream move of his there.

Maybe he can go to Italy? play for AC, inter or Juv?

Or germany? woudl Dortmound take him? Fact is, not many if any top clubs would take him at present and help him develop his career.

At Arsenal he can flourish. he will get game time because our squad is not full of world class players and u have a great mentor Wenger who is great and creating gems.

Its up to him really.

Money or career.

edit: can u realy blame arsenal for saying no to his demands when Adebayor was in teh same situation, got his nice phat payrise and then plays like rubbish and demands a move.

Adebayor plays great for one season and wants world class player salary and walcott plays good for half a season and demanding the same

I agree, he should stay at Arsenal.

He'd get games at City but only on the wing. At United he'd be 3rd choice striker at best.

Who else is there? Liverpool? why would he go there when he can get the position he wants in a better team (Arse). Chelsea? He'd get a few months playing time before they sign Falcao. Spurs would probably be his best bet outside of Arse but that's not going to happen.

With that said, we're not privy to discussions between Wenger and himself. Maybe he feels Wenger doesn't see him as a first choice striker ...whereas Liverpool would guarantee him a spot alongside Suarez?

Great performance by Walcott, but if he does leave we'll cope.
Hattrick and an assist, well that's great, but now we could easily forget how he fucked up several other chances as well. When the game was 3-3 there were a couple of them that drove me nuts.

The team played well together and Wilshere was excellent (bar their 1st goal where he didn't know what he was doing). But the stupid defensive mistakes must stop. I won't be complaining in a day when we score 7 goals, but the truth is that all their 3 goals were stupid to concede.

Anyways, we are on the up and hopefully the team will be boosted by signings (one can only hope).

your attack has gone up a level since you've started this front 6 IMO, even if you are leaky (which we are also!) goals can mask that problem.

Looks like Zaha is a done deal. Talented player, will be very interested to see if he makes the step up.

I heard him saying he's ready 2 leave but didn't hear him say where. Arsenal is becoming an English team while everybody else is buying foreigners lol . I heard Wenger wants Nasri back too many players coming and not one in the most wanted spot DM n Gk .

In the Belgium press Simon Mignolet is linked with Arsenal.

Jonney, Zaha is a very talented forward from Crystal Palace (but surely, your question was a joke or ironic ?).

link?

Also i don't think zaha will live up to expectations, i hope i'm wrong but it's a common trend with players with talent these days.

One of his old teammates (can't remember which one) had posted on their Twitter feed wishing him luck. Praps a windup as haven't heard anything today though.

Only twitter tweet that was true and I thought it was a wild goose hunt was Cazorla! . The thing w/ Arsenal an everybody will agree they move sloth slow to move on a deal.I heard from a tweet we made an official bid on Atletico Madrid`s Adrian Lopez for £10m a striker that can play on the wings (Wenger`s favorite type). His release clause is £14m , Now what must happen before is selling players to make any story believable .

Adrain would prove to be a very good buy for arsenal, giving you something use really lack with gervinho, hope it happens (would go straight in my fantasy league team).

Yesterdays game just highlighted the mentality of Arsenal imo.

Play pretty well, our confidence skyrockets and then players forget they actually have to play to beat the 'Smaller' teams and take them for granted. It is like they are fish and have very small memories. Probably the one of the most frustrating things about Arsenal over the last few years for me, it is like they never learn.

Southampton played well and should have won really.

We have got some really tough games coming up, the only thing that is keeping me optimistic is that we seem to up our game to some extent against the 'Bigger' Teams.

Trust me jonney, you don't want Ferguson to be the manager of your favourite team. That is one of the reasons why i stopped supporting Man Utd in 2000. I don't want a team that wins ugly and unfair. I had that feeling with Ferguson and i still have it.

^ this spurs "fan" doesnt realise they have gareth bale playing for them? the biggest diving cheating cunt in the premier league?

I will try to contact Gareth Bale and ask him not to dive anymore, since you are implying that the fact that Bale dives has something to do with the fact that i'm a Spurs "fan". By the way is there a new rule in English since this year that you have to write fan between " " ? Please enlighten me with your eternal wisdom and your well balanced views.

bale constantly dives like a little bitch. this is cheating, cheating is unfair. i dont care who u support but why you choose to support a team based on if they are fair or not?

That is one player though. if the majority spurs players cheated then fair enough but a proper true fan of a footy club will support there club through the good and bad times.

Gerd will not chant or celebrate jumping with joy everytime Bale falls over. far from it but he will still support spurs and its players and staff.

Think of it as raising a child. u support your child no matter what dumb fuck ups he or she does in there life, u will love and support them no matter what.

That is how true fans are to a club. not glory hunters

Thanks jonney.
What is obvious to you and to most people is that i like Bale as a player, but that i would like him to stop diving.
Anyway i might be biased but i have a feeling that Spurs haven't won many points because of it, Bale does it really clumsily.
What you should know: i have a feeling that i'm not a big favourite of our friend dazzlà, his post is not against Bale but against me. I've put him where he belongs: on my ignore list, so in the future he can save himself the trouble...i won't be seeing his posts.

So, Djourou is appearently off to Hannover 96 and Squillaci claims there is interest from a few French sides. This means we might get a new central defender.

We will definitely have to get a new defender in if that happens, it will be hard to find a decent one in January that would be prepared to be a fourth choice defender though.
