This Dutch flag is a way to make RvP stay :D

No seriously, this kit is horrendous. We will look like bloody PSG or something.

Looks like everyone's wearing an armband, and not one, but two! Not only they're all captains, but too special!

:P

Yes the sleeves are horrible, not to mention this blue collar! WTF were Nike thinking?
I'll stay away from this kit. Still have my long sleeves 2010-2011 which looks much better.

To make it worst, I think they only redesign home kits from 2 to 2 years?

It's a motivational tactic! The truth is Arsenal have no leaders, so why not dress them up to look like leaders? That'll scare the opposition surely...

it's like Margaret Thatcher said: if you have to say you're a Lady, you're NOT.

so....

somebody was saying that Song is really timid. sometimes he looks arrogant, but i really noticed this the last match: the guy really is timid.

we need real leaders not just to say all of the players have: "great mental strength"

Song is very shy, but sometimes this has its positives. He's not the type of player who will get booked for dissent, for instance. He can be as he is as long we have others who can be leaders.

RvP is a leader, more than Fab ever was IMO. Thomas Vermaelen too, has the right attitude, and I think Arteta is the same. Both Vermaelen and Arteta have what it takes to be vice-captain, maybe Arteta even more, since he's been for so long in the Premier League.

And yes the kit is horrible, I can't stress this enough. The long sleeved version looks even more stupid, as you would think the stripes would be on the edge of the sleeves? But instead they fluctuate in the middle of the arms... appalling stuff.

I wonder how the Away kit will look like?

I`m hoping the away kits is better :P Any capt. that leads by example is leaning more to the positive is better. I remember a capt. when a team mate`s leg was snapped in half and after the match he protested by sitting on the pitch. He did NOT lead nor help the cause he abandon his duty. So, we come along way from that and guess where he`s at now ... S:PS

The new kit is a message to RvP to stay.

"Look! Dutch flag on the kit for next season. All for your eyes Sir RvP Sir!"

Big news for Arsenal today! It looks like M'Vila is going to sign! I don't know a great deal about him, but he must be good considering all the attention he got from big clubs. Plus finally we will have another DMF in this squad!! For how long have we been asking for this?

The other piece of news is that Bould is set to replace Pat Rice as assistant next season. This looks good! It's only right he gets promoted. And I think he will freshen things up and improve our defence. We need it!

Probably because Wenger was using Song as DMF but now that he's sort of replaced Cesc with his passing, especially the Song-RvP combo, he might push him up a bit and have someone instead as DMF; M'Vila.

M'Vila would be brilliant and yeah Song's progression as an offensive player means he can move forward a bit whilst still adding a bit defensively along with M'Vila would be top notch and a returning Wilshere.

Bet Mvila plays on the wing or RB if bought lol.... I cant see us going to a 4-2-3-1 wenger seems stuck on 4-3-3.

And let's not forget about Arteta and Rosicky! Would be a shame to leave the Czech out of the plans now that he finally found his form.
With everybody fit and M'Vila possibly coming our way, suddenly we will have lots of good midfielders: Song, Arteta, Wilshere, Rosicky. Let the likes of Ramsey, Coq, Diaby and Frimpong be introduced gradually.
Hopefully a return to a 4-4-2 then? :)
The two upfront, of course, being RvP and Podolski? Just a thought.
With this, we could still use Walcott, Gervinho and Ox mostly as wide midfielders.

With you guys getting M'Vila, can you please give United one of your other midfielders? We'd take Arteta, Wilshere, Song, Rosicky or Chamberlain.

Cheers!

to make up for the Silvestre screw over you still owe us a Cantona + a Ronaldo leg.

the abundance of midfielders means a 3 midfieder system will be used. so 4-4-2 is out of the questions, i think.

well all agree with rennes and yann, he's a new gunner. £17.7m transfer record for us.

£28m = podolski and m'vila... awesome work wenger.

Now we have a lot of time to sign belhanda or hazard and a defender.

Looks like Vorm as well since Almunia, Fabianski and Mannone are on their way.

Purely speculation right now, but i think Vorm would be an awesome buy as competition to Szczesny is needed - the Norwich game had me thinking he has got too comfortable.

I love Eboue  and yh I agree Sczy has it too comfy and safe! No one at his age should be that safe your performance won`t grow.

I think this is not the real REAL Eboue. Still brilliant though

We need a keeper indeed, with all our dodgy keepers leaving. I still had some faith in Mannone though.

M'Vila being confirmed, I can say I like the business we're doing so far. Exactly the positions we needed to fill.

But the next signings will depend on our league position finish. I'm worried about this WBA away game, given our Norwich performance...

We don't have Bac Sagna. Who should play RB? Coq? Or maybe move Gibbs to the right and play Santos as a starter?
