Anyone defending wenger is imo a fickle wenger fanboy. How can anyone defend wengers sub decision is behond me

Another great example of how awsome Wenger is as a manager. take of four best player for our worse inform player. rightly booed IMO. evem RVP was moaning at wenger,

daft decision. My fear is that the board wont sack him if we do not reach top 4 but instead wait till its too late where we become a mid table feeder club.

If we kicked him out at that time, no top manager or player would ever join us and we will be back to square one. It will take us another 6+ years to reach o the top 4 again with mediacore managers and players playing for us.

Dark days but i told u blickered fans that Wenger HAD to go years ago! Had he got the sack 2-3 years ago, we could have brought in a quality manager like Frank rickard, Anchelloti or even AVB and we would have been better off.

this club needs a new manager, new ideas and a suger daddy owner to take over the club seeing as the current crop on the board do not want to spend a single penny.

RVP will leave this summer with chamack being our main striker :( and in the following season wilshere and chambalin will leave. Basically any arsenal player who shines and steps up to the next level will leave us as like many players around the world, they want to progress in there career and once you reach "world class" status, you want to win a few trophies mate and Arsenal is no longer a club that will offer that.

Yeh im sure its for wenger but put yourself in arshavins shoes.

1. You feel nervous cause you havent been playing well for ages

2. You come on fans are booing at the substitution desicion (even if you realise not you personally you are still gonna feel the atmosphere of the boos on you. It is also at you as the boos are saying the other player was better youve put on a crap player or player who shouldnt be on.)

Add these together and you put an already mentally fragile out of sorts player in an even worse mental state. Imagine walking on a picth and you have 50,000 fans booing!! Expect to play well?

Anyway Arshavin is a creative attacker. Put Van persie in his position for the Wellbeck goal would RVP have defended much better? Well at least RVP has physical size. SO you have a small tiny creative attacker in a left backs position for the goal..

Overall, I just feel sorry For the little Russian lol...It couldnt have gone worse for him personally!

No excuses or pitty for Ashavin. HE HAS HAD LOTS and i mean LOTS of games last season and this season to shine and show its worth. You go on as if Ashavin has just had one bad game for us and we are all booing him.

no mate, he has had 30+ shit games and he deserves to be slagged off IMO. he has been poor. we have all supported him for 30+ games hoping he can come good, we have all given him a chance to buckle up and play at a decent level but he hasnt and now you expect us to just support him and not boo him and show our lack of support for him? The guy brought it on to himself mate. we praised him before, sang his name etc etc and he has turned into a piece of shit for over a season now. enough is enough.

The same goes for Wenger. the more he fucks up our team, the more arsenal fans will see what i have been seeing in this sub par average manage of ours, the better.

i guarantee you that if Arsenal dont even finish in the top 6(VERY possible) then i guarantee you that every single arsenal fan in this forum including bobby will want Wenger gone before its too late.

get rid of wenger end of the season and bring in a new manager with fresh new ideas. let wenger be a board as a director and let him concentrate on the only little thing his good at i.e finding new talent for cheap and let a decent manager produce results on the pitch. make it happen end of THIS season before its too late where no top manager and player would ever wanna play for a mid table feeder club.

Well actually in a recent interview, Ancelotti said he was waiting on either Arsenal or Spurs. Could have been a good move for Arsenal.

If Wenger were to leave I think Real Madrid might offer him the job. I remember he was Perez's first choice as a manager before Mourinho. Maybe you'll get Mourinho instead.

You couldn't even manage a FIFA BAP Club without having a hissy fit every 2 minutes so I can't take your opinions seriously when it comes to "management"! ;)

I am still not understanding this attack on Wenger and Arshavin. Weren't you guys on a pretty good run lately? And it's not like you lost to a small team and you didn't have any fullbacks.

You are still a very hard team. With the CL tie edging closer, I still think your team can easily outpace Milan and take the tie.

what good run? we have lost 3 games in a row mate. Yea there is no shame in losing to united but when u take off your best player for our worse player and that said player costing us goals then what do you expect?

Whats our excuse for losing to fulham and swansea then?both games we took the lead btw.

ya where in a good run of form

Best post in the thread.

You lost to Man Utd, what is unusual about that? They are the best English team of the last 20 years...
The problem here is that some people think that Arsenal have the divine right to win the EPL...well, i have a revelation: they haven't.

I only saw the second half and IMO Arsenal played pretty well. The equliser was a very good goal...but i was sure Man Utd would win this match.

To blame Arshavin is simplistic.

Very snobbish comments. Fulham and Swansea are pretty decent at home.

And since when has that young kid been your best player? I'm not saying he didn't have a good game but the other day you were banging on about these pros are trained to perfection to perform for certain times. This young lad is probably built to last 60/70 mins going from what you said and what Arsenal's medical same say.

Which is it? You are contradicting yourself again. I said I didn't believe in all this tiredness everyone had jumped on the bandwagon about. You went on about specific training etc. etc.

How did Arshavin cost you the goal? You moan if Walcott doesn't beat the full back or whoever he is up against. Uniteds winger beats Arahavin and United end up scoring. Wingers should beat players. When they do, the defending player gets slated. But no, do the easy thing and put all the blame on one player. If he shit out of a tackle then fair enough. He just got turned inside out. It happens. Deal with it.

we also lost on fulham, blackburn and swansea just to name a few. what is your excuse for those losses? granted there is no shame losing to united but when you got them in the back foot and you destroy our momentum by taking off our best player of the match then questions need to be asked

Ashavin got beaten easily for there 2nd goal. And Chambalain was our best player yesterday. Toss in the fact that Ashavin has been our worse player and you put him on? really? just really?

We lost to fulham/swansea due to shit childish defending. we also took the lead in both games. Yes Fulham/Swansea played well but arsenal did not. You have got to beat teams like fulham and swansea to progress. How the fuck could we be labeled a top team if you cant even beat those teams? How the fuck do you expect arsenal to compete with the likes of united, city, barca and RM just to name a few?

Im not disrespecting fulham and co but if you want to become a top team you simply have to beat those teams whether you like it or not. city, united and spurs manage to.

how can u defend arsenals losses is behond me. Where suppose to be a top team apparently but no were far from it and the more wenger stays at arsenal, the more likely we will eventually become not only a feeder club, but a mid table team.

liverpool are only a point behind us who are in 7th!

only a fickle wenger fanboy would not see that Arsenal are in real trouble. Not relegation trouble, but becoming a average feeder club who once was a top club.

Well , its a Arsenal thread jonney has a right to vent! Don`t kick`em all at once for his rants . Arshavin had a vote of confidence by Wenger. Arshavin plays like he can`t be bothered imo . I see Torres and I see a unlucky player I see Arshavin and see a attitude of "If only someone could send me home already"

You failed to cover the point I made where you said they are trained to perform for certain times and levels. Which one is it? Can't have it both ways.

Anyway, I'm not defending anybody. I couldn't give a shit about Arsenal as I don't support them.

Swansea and Fulham want to become top teams too btw so to do that, they have to beat teams like Arsenal ;)

So Chambalin can only play one game a month for 70mins? doubtful.

Henry can play far more games then Chambalin and his 36!! Same goes for Giggs!

Did Chambalin show any tiredness in his play? he just setup RVP and got subbed off.

Players are trained to play two 90min matches per week. Chambalin hasnt played a game for arsenal for a few weeks.:CONFUSE:

I think that it is time for Wenger to leave!!
Yes he has done so much for this club and i respect that!
But every good thing has its end and looks like the end have been here at arsenal for some time now!!
You never know what will happen with new manager!!It might be positive and it might be opposite!

I just hate alot of Arsenal supporters at the moment. The treatment of Wenger who has done so much for this club, the hostility by some is sickening.

Whether you think he is doing bad or good, some things being said are just ridiculous (Not talking about here in particular, but all over the place)

The black and whiteness of people's views, not thinking about the overall picture, only thinking about medals and trophies etc

Such Narrowminded spiteful people that are Arsenal supporters (again, not talking about people here). It really is sad.

I can see Arsene not being here next year, because he will leave and mainly because of those type of supporters. He will leave under a cloud and it will tarnish the amazing things he has done for this club.

And if he goes and then we get a shit manager in charge, who the fuck do I piss and moan at?! I bet the ones who are now on Arsenes back will then want the board out etc etc.

Liverpool have shown what can happen, I bet quite a few Liverpool supporters will want Benitez back?

I think the supporters should boo themselves because they are making the situation much worse.

First of all, sack Wenger and hire Frank Rijkaard? You having a laugh mate?

Arsenal's underlying problems are mainly down to poor defending and organisation at the back. And we know this has been going on for more than 4 seasons now. And yes, this has to be put in Wenger's tally IMO.

Even when Arshavin did produce the goods up front, our defence had always let us down. Just take a look at a youtube clip from that 4-4 against Liverpool.

Back then it was so easy to support Arshavin, wasn't it?

Why wasn't Vermaelen double-teaming on Valencia and covering for Arshavin? Why did 6 or 7 players watch passes being exchanged inside the box and Wellbeck have a free shot?

Why the fans/press are blaming one player for not doing his secondary job properly and letting others who passed by 90 minutes unnoticed get away with it? Why hasn't Walcott beat one single defender during the whole 90 minutes?
Valencia showed what true wingers trickery is all about, and he beat not only Arshavin, but he also beat Vermaelen a couple of times.

Sack Wenger and ship Arshavin back to Russia and you see you're not even close to solving this club's problems. There's a lot of dead weight there. The club is full of passengers: Theo Walcott, Diaby, Rosicky, Ramsey...

People seem to need a scapegoat now and it looks like it's Arshavin now. I feel for him too. It's not easy to get on the pitch with 60,000 people booing, even if it's not at you.
I think he is clearly demotivated, Arshavin. He took a pay cut to come to Arsenal, he's been played out of position since day 1, and he's on the receiving end of a wave of criticism that is out of proportion IMO. When he was in form, he was one of the guys carrying a team full of chumps on his back. And now this is how "fans" repay him. Now that he's in a really bad phase, he's seen as the source of all evil at he club.
Yeah, I kinda sympathise with him and I wouldn't renew my contract with this club if I were him.

These are posts from proper fans IMO. Well said guys. I typed up something pretty similar about Arshavin but then thought I just can't be arsed so deleted it.

@ Bobby - Would I want Benitez back at Liverpool? Hell no! Team bored the tits off me. I'm more than happy to give Kenny time. He's made mistakes. He's made some not so great signings (so far) but his objectives set were over a few years. People expect bloody miracles straight away. Does my nugget in.

I've always said with Arsenal, just be careful what you wish for. Sometimes you just don't realise what you've got until it's gone.

To me, both Liverpool and Arsenal are in transitional periods. They will rise again.

How would we ever know if we get a shit or good manager if Wenger is still our manager? Life is a gamble. we took a gamble getting wenger in the first place. he wasnt a world class manager when he joined us!

Yes there are some fans who are a bit extreme but just because Wenger has done wonders for this club 6-7 years ago doesnt and i mean DOESNT give him the god given right to now turn our team into a mid table feeder club.

First of all, sack Wenger and hire Frank Rijkaard? You having a laugh mate?

Yea whos fault is that Ashavin is playing out of position. Not wengers fault lol?

With Wenger and ashavin gone, it can fix a lot of issues if the right manager comes in.

The new manager could get rid of the dead wood you have just noted and also teach the team how to defend.

Wenger at this present cant do either.

And like i said About Ashavin, his had 30+ games to sort himself out, he deserves critisism IMO. he has been shit. Its not as if he just ha done or two bad games. he has had over a season of bad games.

And about Walcott, yea he shold have been subbed instead of Chambalin but no, you wont blame wenger for making that decison either.

Seems like nothing is Wengers fault

Dalglish has only had one season at liverpool so far mate, Wenger has had nearly 7 shit seasons with arsenal with each season getting progressively worse.

You keep saying "be careful what you wish for". In life you need to take risks. Arsenal took a bit of a gamble bringing wenger in. he wasnt a world class manager like pepe. anchellotti etc. he was a decent manager before coming to arsenal yet look at the wonders he done when he first came in.

Is Wenger the ONLY good manager out there in the whole entire world? because it seems like it!

End of the day we need to sack Wenger and get someone new onboard. Wenger has lost the plot big time and the fans are begginning to see what i have been seeing and preaching for a VERY LONG time.

The longer Wenger stays the more difficult it is to attract an established manager and players

Mendoza for Arsenal Manager!

It's so bloody easy ain't it J? Like I said, you lost the plot with a virtual team. Somebody questioned some of your decisions and you went psycho. Wenger keeping pretty calm.
You did things like put some of the shittest passers in the team in CM and the best ones at CB. Great decision making on your part :)

I know that's only computer land but I just can't take you seriously when you talk about football ;)

You then took over and destroyed the club :SMUG:

Hahaha. I never took it over! What are you talking about?!

I joined as part of a 5 so we could vote on things fairly as you kept going off on one booting people out if somebody disagreed with one of your daft decisions! It was embarrassing so a few of us got together to put a stop to it.

The club was basically self managing. Anybody could try and arrange games. You just wanted a dictatorship. Your childish tantrums were the cause of most grief so put your smug smiley away. You have a very selective memory... and even that makes shit up.

I don't feel sorry for any employee at Arsenal. PERFORMANCE IS NOT A BAD day at the office it's collectively. He said give me 5yrs. Well things can turn against you in 2yrs. WENGER has done a very good job in today's market and taking blame from players n board members like a super hero! WHEN THE BOARD tells you the new target is buying land for realstate n 4th spot is the main importances. That will always set you up for a backlash of epic portion. WHEN WINNING THE LEAGUE IS NOT YOUR MAIN GOLD WE GET THIS...SELLING TOP PLAYERS WAITING FOR A CHEAP BUY LETTING CONTRACTS CLOSE TO EXPIRE ITS HARD THEN N HARDER NOW. I FEEL SORRY FOR NO ONE! THEY KNEW THE RISK SO WEAR IT

To say Wenger and Arsenal have done shit for the past 7 years is so untrue and is why I think you Jonney are fundamentally wrong in my eyes.

We have been in the champs league for 14 consecutive years.

Spurs are supposed to be on the up, but they only managed 1 season and then couldn't get in it for another year in a row. It is very hard and is a great source of Revenue.

In terms of importance, then getting into the champs league is much more important to us than winning either of the domestic cups.

I thought our defence did ok when we had our full defence? (we went on a great run and got back into 4th from the bottom of the league) now we have half of our defence missing it is very easy to criticise. I Personally think when we have the players, they are the best defence we have had for a while, so shows Wenger is taking notice and doing things about it. Scez and Merts have mentioned how they have changed training and concentrating on defence more and more.

Wenger made a mistake in the last game, it seems so easy to jump on, but name me another sustitution he has done that bad before?

I personally don't want to take a risk with my football club, when I think we have a perfectly capable manager in charge. We just need another good striker and a replacement for Arshavin and I think we will be fine when our fullbacks are back.

I also want Arshavin gone, but just because he isn't playing well, doesn't mean people need to be so nasty about him. He needs to go though I do admit.

Again I have got back into this conversation, but it is so hard reading these things and not reacting.

I think we have a good future with our youngsters, Wilshere, Ramsey, Gibbs, Jenkinson, Frimpong, Coquelin, The Ox, Walcott (who I think will still come good).

Anyway, I know Jonney disagrees. Even if we won the Champs league this season he will be quiet and then as soon as a bad run comes again.....'SACK WENGER' will be said loud and clear for all to hear :))

stop chatting out of your arse me old pal ;) You took over and fucked up the team lol! i was in charge. i made the club. i did all the hard work recruiting people from here and all over the web and i built our club community from the gound up :)

You crossed my path, wanted some troll member to rejoin us after he slagged all of us including u in the past and got booted out by me and so i go rid of u ;)

Im now i a better club thank u, top 20 in the world as well with strict rules and dictatorship as you call it yet we are succesful and play good football to boot. no hacks, no cehating :WORSHIP:

Hows the nightly blu rays nowadays lol ;)

@bobby. we are getting progressively worse mate. whos to blame? wengeR? the board? the players?

edit: arsenal to win the CL? haha no chance although if liverpool can do it having a similar shit season to us when they did win it, who knows!

Circumstances are to blame, Clubs getting bought and wasting millions of pounds, the economy, building a new stadium for our future, bad luck, bad decisions all have combined to where we are now....not just Wenger or the board.
