Yeh im sure its for wenger but put yourself in arshavins shoes.
1. You feel nervous cause you havent been playing well for ages
2. You come on fans are booing at the substitution desicion (even if you realise not you personally you are still gonna feel the atmosphere of the boos on you. It is also at you as the boos are saying the other player was better youve put on a crap player or player who shouldnt be on.)
Add these together and you put an already mentally fragile out of sorts player in an even worse mental state. Imagine walking on a picth and you have 50,000 fans booing!! Expect to play well?
Anyway Arshavin is a creative attacker. Put Van persie in his position for the Wellbeck goal would RVP have defended much better? Well at least RVP has physical size. SO you have a small tiny creative attacker in a left backs position for the goal..
Overall, I just feel sorry For the little Russian lol...It couldnt have gone worse for him personally!

I am still not understanding this attack on Wenger and Arshavin. Weren't you guys on a pretty good run lately? And it's not like you lost to a small team and you didn't have any fullbacks.
You are still a very hard team. With the CL tie edging closer, I still think your team can easily outpace Milan and take the tie.
You couldn't even manage a FIFA BAP Club without having a hissy fit every 2 minutes so I can't take your opinions seriously when it comes to "management"!
what good run? we have lost 3 games in a row mate. Yea there is no shame in losing to united but when u take off your best player for our worse player and that said player costing us goals then what do you expect?
Whats our excuse for losing to fulham and swansea then?both games we took the lead btw.
ya where in a good run of form
Best post in the thread.
You lost to Man Utd, what is unusual about that? They are the best English team of the last 20 years...
The problem here is that some people think that Arsenal have the divine right to win the EPL...well, i have a revelation: they haven't.
I only saw the second half and IMO Arsenal played pretty well. The equliser was a very good goal...but i was sure Man Utd would win this match.
To blame Arshavin is simplistic.
Very snobbish comments. Fulham and Swansea are pretty decent at home.
And since when has that young kid been your best player? I'm not saying he didn't have a good game but the other day you were banging on about these pros are trained to perfection to perform for certain times. This young lad is probably built to last 60/70 mins going from what you said and what Arsenal's medical same say.
Which is it? You are contradicting yourself again. I said I didn't believe in all this tiredness everyone had jumped on the bandwagon about. You went on about specific training etc. etc.
How did Arshavin cost you the goal? You moan if Walcott doesn't beat the full back or whoever he is up against. Uniteds winger beats Arahavin and United end up scoring. Wingers should beat players. When they do, the defending player gets slated. But no, do the easy thing and put all the blame on one player. If he shit out of a tackle then fair enough. He just got turned inside out. It happens. Deal with it.
we also lost on fulham, blackburn and swansea just to name a few. what is your excuse for those losses? granted there is no shame losing to united but when you got them in the back foot and you destroy our momentum by taking off our best player of the match then questions need to be asked
Ashavin got beaten easily for there 2nd goal. And Chambalain was our best player yesterday. Toss in the fact that Ashavin has been our worse player and you put him on? really? just really?
We lost to fulham/swansea due to shit childish defending. we also took the lead in both games. Yes Fulham/Swansea played well but arsenal did not. You have got to beat teams like fulham and swansea to progress. How the fuck could we be labeled a top team if you cant even beat those teams? How the fuck do you expect arsenal to compete with the likes of united, city, barca and RM just to name a few?
Im not disrespecting fulham and co but if you want to become a top team you simply have to beat those teams whether you like it or not. city, united and spurs manage to.
how can u defend arsenals losses is behond me. Where suppose to be a top team apparently but no were far from it and the more wenger stays at arsenal, the more likely we will eventually become not only a feeder club, but a mid table team.
liverpool are only a point behind us who are in 7th!
only a fickle wenger fanboy would not see that Arsenal are in real trouble. Not relegation trouble, but becoming a average feeder club who once was a top club.
You failed to cover the point I made where you said they are trained to perform for certain times and levels. Which one is it? Can't have it both ways.
Anyway, I'm not defending anybody. I couldn't give a shit about Arsenal as I don't support them.
Swansea and Fulham want to become top teams too btw so to do that, they have to beat teams like Arsenal
Players are trained to play two 90min matches per week. Chambalin hasnt played a game for arsenal for a few weeks.
Lack of match fitness
I just hate alot of Arsenal supporters at the moment. The treatment of Wenger who has done so much for this club, the hostility by some is sickening.
Whether you think he is doing bad or good, some things being said are just ridiculous (Not talking about here in particular, but all over the place)
The black and whiteness of people's views, not thinking about the overall picture, only thinking about medals and trophies etc
Such Narrowminded spiteful people that are Arsenal supporters (again, not talking about people here). It really is sad.
I can see Arsene not being here next year, because he will leave and mainly because of those type of supporters. He will leave under a cloud and it will tarnish the amazing things he has done for this club.
And if he goes and then we get a shit manager in charge, who the fuck do I piss and moan at?! I bet the ones who are now on Arsenes back will then want the board out etc etc.
Liverpool have shown what can happen, I bet quite a few Liverpool supporters will want Benitez back?
I think the supporters should boo themselves because they are making the situation much worse.
First of all, sack Wenger and hire Frank Rijkaard? You having a laugh mate?
Arsenal's underlying problems are mainly down to poor defending and organisation at the back. And we know this has been going on for more than 4 seasons now. And yes, this has to be put in Wenger's tally IMO.
Even when Arshavin did produce the goods up front, our defence had always let us down. Just take a look at a youtube clip from that 4-4 against Liverpool.
Back then it was so easy to support Arshavin, wasn't it?
Why wasn't Vermaelen double-teaming on Valencia and covering for Arshavin? Why did 6 or 7 players watch passes being exchanged inside the box and Wellbeck have a free shot?
Why the fans/press are blaming one player for not doing his secondary job properly and letting others who passed by 90 minutes unnoticed get away with it? Why hasn't Walcott beat one single defender during the whole 90 minutes?
Valencia showed what true wingers trickery is all about, and he beat not only Arshavin, but he also beat Vermaelen a couple of times.
Sack Wenger and ship Arshavin back to Russia and you see you're not even close to solving this club's problems. There's a lot of dead weight there. The club is full of passengers: Theo Walcott, Diaby, Rosicky, Ramsey...
People seem to need a scapegoat now and it looks like it's Arshavin now. I feel for him too. It's not easy to get on the pitch with 60,000 people booing, even if it's not at you.
I think he is clearly demotivated, Arshavin. He took a pay cut to come to Arsenal, he's been played out of position since day 1, and he's on the receiving end of a wave of criticism that is out of proportion IMO. When he was in form, he was one of the guys carrying a team full of chumps on his back. And now this is how "fans" repay him. Now that he's in a really bad phase, he's seen as the source of all evil at he club.
Yeah, I kinda sympathise with him and I wouldn't renew my contract with this club if I were him.

These are posts from proper fans IMO. Well said guys. I typed up something pretty similar about Arshavin but then thought I just can't be arsed so deleted it.
@ Bobby - Would I want Benitez back at Liverpool? Hell no! Team bored the tits off me. I'm more than happy to give Kenny time. He's made mistakes. He's made some not so great signings (so far) but his objectives set were over a few years. People expect bloody miracles straight away. Does my nugget in.
I've always said with Arsenal, just be careful what you wish for. Sometimes you just don't realise what you've got until it's gone.
To me, both Liverpool and Arsenal are in transitional periods. They will rise again.
Mendoza for Arsenal Manager!
It's so bloody easy ain't it J? Like I said, you lost the plot with a virtual team. Somebody questioned some of your decisions and you went psycho. Wenger keeping pretty calm.
You did things like put some of the shittest passers in the team in CM and the best ones at CB. Great decision making on your part
I know that's only computer land but I just can't take you seriously when you talk about football
our club team lasted 2+ seasons mate
You then took over and destroyed the club
Hahaha. I never took it over! What are you talking about?!
I joined as part of a 5 so we could vote on things fairly as you kept going off on one booting people out if somebody disagreed with one of your daft decisions! It was embarrassing.
The club was basically self managing. Anybody could try and arrange games. You just wanted a dictatorship. Your childish tantrums were the cause of most grief so put your smug smiley away. You have a very selective memory... and even that makes shit up.
