No point in giving this too much importance as everyone is doing now. He can say what he wants, he's not an Arsenal player anymore, even though he was our ex-cap, he wasn't the most remarkable one at that.
Even if he did say such things, I don't think people at Arsenal should be getting their knickers in a twist. Just try their best to prove him wrong by winning something.
Of course it seems now a distant dream to see Arsenal lifting silverware, but it's not impossible. It can happen if people stop obsessing about that, letting it get into their heads and just work hard each match at a time.
