I live in scotland. Arsenal is my 2nd team

I went to highbury as a kid and met Bergkamp etc...and got photos on the pict. I sat in the dugout. Was amazing. Off course I aint been to emirates yet.
 
Sylvinho just conceded an interview to Arsenal Brasil and Arseblog. He didn't play at the Emirates (only went there to stay on the bench for City) but he has fond memories and very nice things to say about Highbury.
Oh, and I love the fact that the player that impressed him the most was Bergkamp. The Dutch master is probably my all time favourite player and he was the biggest reason I started following and supporting Arsenal in the first place. So, always nice to hear nice things about him and how he was one of the humble and friendly guys :)

Sylvinho was a gem for some good 2 years for Arsenal taking over from Nigel Winterburn. Then he had issues with his passport and calf injuries, opening up space to Cashley Cole's rise.

Ohh it was so close but still good result 1-1!
We were totaly dominated by BVB!
But i liked what i saw! real team, defends like team,committed to the club!!
And dont you dare to say we need a new GK!!!
 
I didn't watch the match but it sounds like it was a good point, as they seemed to be all over us. However we will be disappointed their equaliser came in the final minutes...
 
RVP fit...shhhh! good result they weren`t sharp but neither were we. Gervinho n Song suspension hasn`t been good. Andres debut a minute, Park is still to make his.

Defensive-wise we did much better as a team. Sczcy is growing quick!
 
I'd argue he already is in the top 5 in the prem. Beast of a keeper, and only going to get better.

Comes across a complete a**hole though - maybe that's what they need though!
 
It feels really weird for Arsenal to be outplayed, Arsenal (wether you'd win, draw or lose) would dominate the game in possession and create buckets but I feel weird watching you lot this season as you IMO lack quality on the ball and barely create any chances.

i much rather we scrape wins then play beutiful footballing dominating the game yet still winning.

All i care is the result mate. i give up being entertained by tippy tappy football.
 
Well said Jonney , besides the result matter plus this team is new from back to middle. Different style of players Wenger will bring the entertaining bit once Jack is back ! :BOP:
 
good point for the gooners, would be happy if we got an away point in benfica...

two good results home and away...

tough game at blackburn at weekend but i reckon three points for asrenal.
 
Blackburn is still going to be tough.

The positives from yesterday were just he togetherness of the team, I think our creativity will come back slowly, we have been battered around a bit with everything that has gone on recently. It will take time for us to get up to speed.
 
I ended up watching a replay of the Dortmund game and I thought Gervinho was nearly useless. He was easily dispossessed most of the time, but still kept on trying the same moves (running towards a wall of German defenders and losing the ball).
But he did track back much more than Arshavin would and I guess that game was more about fight than brilliance.

Blackburn will probably resource to some anti-football tactics, but a few of our new players like Arteta, Mertesacker and even Gervinho aren't intimidated by that. There seems to be more fight in this team now.

Mertescielny was a very good partnership at the back and likely to be repeated. I'm not looking forward to seeing Djourou anytime soon in our defense.

True. No penetration. Even Sinclair was showing Arsenal how to do that and he plays for bloody Swansea. Van Persie seems to be a little off the pace but he looks to be getting back to his best.

It was more than Wenger can`t win, No way can Arsenal compete among the top clubs in league, pointing out players leaving. They haven`t replace me. Even though he tweets I hope Barca n Arsenal have a good result in CL. He points out truth which hurts more!

Then says ...he had to agree a buy back in his agreement to leave :CONFUSE: That`s worth nothing players don`t return they leave... almost points out the desperation in his leaving n Arsenal`s persistent in having him stay. Gooners are being hit real hard moral-wise and having the old capt. taking pop shots! made me somewhat down. He back tracking means he realize it wasn`t the best time to share his views... make no mistake Cesc is loved ,but plz close the door w/o jeering the exit!
 
If Fab is saying he didn't say those things, then we have to believe him, until we hear a tape or something :))

But even if he did say those things, its all true. The other clubs look much better than us at the moment without a doubt.

But you are right if he did say it, I would rather he kept his mouth shut as it doesn't really help anything at the moment.

if he really did say that then he wont get any love for many arsenal supporters. he can go to hell for all i care.

Look at the great Thierry Henry. NEVER once slagged off arsenal but talked nothing but praise for us.

Also, where exacly did u hear him say this? Thats why the tweet that was posted diddnt make a single ounce of sense.

This for sure wasnt on the metro or evening standard. if its from the sun then come on lads, you believe the bullshit that you read from the sun? :LOL: the metro and evening standard is far more legit and this pop shot is too big of a story for these newspapers to ignore
 
I read on a spainsh site ...i agree what he says it just hurts maybe more due to the honesty ways of being said.now, he claims you will never see a bad word from him abt arsenal. Bob agrees its just bad timing and jonnry you said more harshful things about our club ,difference is its out of frustration.nasri is an excuse to justify.while fab is done at the wrong time or maybr media releases it at the right time..hence fab back tracking. I lovr cesc and i want the best for him i just love arsenal more.
