IMO the main reason why Wenger put Bendtner on wings is becouse when Bendtner is put at the center forward position he doesn't hold the position (not like Chamakh he do it much better)he move deeper on the pitch and on the wings there he gets the ball and tries to dribble past players and then he lose the ball.Imo thats the reason why Wenger see him as a winger not center forward!

Jonney, you can't even pass a ball properly with your little virtual players so for you to criticise Crouch makes me laugh. Yeah, he's not a world class prolific striker but in all fairness, he's not a complete mug either.

My point? England dont HAVE 5 decent strikers.

Anyways i can name 3 that are better. Bent, Defoe and rooney. Two that i have mentioned are not even world class mate.

Crouch? his fucking shit IMO. no better then Bendter.

bent,defoe,rooney,agbonlahor,sturridge(this season).Crouch is rubbish.With all the height you'd at least expect him to know how to head a ball the lanky streak of piss.His goal return is absolutely appalling.Heskey is piss poor as well yet somehow manages to get in the english team instead of him.says alot.I'd take bendtner anyday of the week,sundays as well....

Don't agree with Agbonlahor, Sturridge and Defoe (Defoe is on the same level as Crouch, he looks better, but he is not..). Bent is definitely better, but i'm not sure about Rooney. Rooney is world class and the best English player by a mile, but is he a striker?

What does Belgian top strikers have to do with Bendtner, Crouch and Arsenal?
Will this argument always be used when i'm talking about a player that isn't Belgian? Well then i'm glad i'm not from Luxemburg or Liechtenstein (and if you would have read Stamping grounds - one of the best football books ever - than you might admire Liechtenstein's players as much as i do...i'm a Liechtenstein fan since reading that book). You can do better than that Jonney.

na my point is that not many national sides have 5 quality strikers. even mighty spain dont have 5 quality strikers from what i can see.

An average striker can easily make the national side imo
 
Is Wenger realy such dumbass that he cant extend Nasri's contract.
He asks as much as Fabregas earns and i think he have a case he has been by far better in this season than Fab,Nasri and Van Persie has been our best players this season.
Don't he realise that he would not get a replacement for such a good player for cheap!!!
Grrr he is driving me angry!!!

Alvarez would be a very good replacement for Arshavin!
 
Ashavins staying apparantly and about Nasri. the thing is that if he increases hsi wage same as fabregas, then fabregas will start moaning how he should get paid more then nasri seeing as his teh captain and regarded as the best player in the squad

This is what happened with Adebayor. Adebayor had one decent season and then wanted to be paid the exact same as what Henry used to be on. Henry was consistant an arsenal legend and earned his top paymark.

If Nasri thinks he can play well for half a season and then think he should be on the same wages as our captain and best player, then he is living in la la land. It's fucking disgraceful in my book, earn your fucking money, how about having a couple of great seasons then come back and start demanding stuff.

These players that get the money striaght off the bat for showing some potential is bad imo, they start to get lazy and think they are already the finished article and Nasri is far from that.

Wenger should hold out on paying him the earth, otherwise anyother player that plays well for a couple of games will demand the same, then it just gets ridiculous.

If he is just after the money he can fuck off. If he is biding his time to see who we are going to buy, then I completely understand him holding out as he wants the club to show ambition before he signs up for a few more years.

I'm with Wenger on this, he should not be held to ransom on players wages.

for once i agree with u 100% i think said here or maybe in a different forum how if Nasri gets offered same pay as fabregas, fabregas would be pissed off and will demand a salary increase or piss right off to barcelona giving a big FUCK U to arsenal.

Nasri is having a laugh if he wants same salary as our captain. what fucking world does he live in?

cmon jonney....this is 2011 you think you can compare club and player royalty from back in the days to now...absolutly not.

its all about money and what you produce on an individual note.

Cant blame nasri for what he is doing, he is a self employed company and hes agent is doing the work.
 
Only thinking about money is not the right attitude when you play for a big club like Arsenal. If i was Wenger i would say that he can always try his luck with another big club (on the bench with Man City for example) for big money. Nasri had a reasonably good season (but not outstanding), his first...Fabregas is a star for years now.

And concerning money, do you think Messi was thinking about money when he was overjoyed scoring his goal in the CL final? He wasn't. I would rather have a player who plays for fun than (purely) for the money.

I don't think Nasri is such player and plays only for money!
But if it is so it is realy such a dissapointment!

Recently i was watching Nasri on youtube the interview in 1999 about his comparison to Zidane. And in that vid he showed some character!
Oh boy how money can change everything!Sad... but true!!!
 
Its Arsenal's policy though, you offer bigger wages to get the kids in the first place so the next contract is going to be a big one.
 
Rooney did the same thing...Rooney had a dire start n demanded 200k .So, 110k is not asking too much especially adding the tax bracket whatnot.
 
The next contract of course will be big, but being big and matching the top earners at the club is not the same thing.

Nasri should get a big rise, but he shouldn't be holding out for the same as Fab (if that is what is happening).

Rooney has shown alot more before this season to warrant a huge payrise and to be one of the top earners at Man United. Nasri hasn't for us yet.
 
You cant compare messi playing for money...he never had to work for a contract every year they gave him the maximum until he became one of the most highest paid player in the game...its not like he had it tough.

Rooney was asking for money mid year...till look at the desire he had in that champnion league final...

you cant point fingers at a player for making business, like I said earlier its 2011 and that american way of negotiating in sports hes slowly becoming a world trend. cant blame that...


Plus you cant say nasri play for money cause hes trying to negotiate a contract...thats rubbish, thats simply business in the mordern game, things changes.

He should watch Arsenal's away match against Barcelona again...Arsenal had a Dutch FW on the field who was constantly bitching and who should have sent off long before he got an red card (that ws maybe ridiculous in itself).

It's good that players are speaking out against influencing refs, but they should not mention other teams and should lead by example...RVP is not leading by example.
